The room is perfectly designed. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. This Hotel was the most welcoming one. The room tempreature was adjusted to the cold winter weather outside and it was warm and welcoming. The hotel'facilities like Indoor pool, spa, etc were excellent to get relaxed and gain energy for the next day. The Breakfast was by far the best one I had in Austria.

I just loved everything in that place! I stayed there for 4 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. I slept very well here and it was such a relaxing hotel. The owner family and their staff were marvellous! The breakfast was excellent with a lot of local or home made food. The wellness area was lovely: it was only for adults and very peaceful. The pools were allowed for all ages. There is free tea, bubble water and small snacks. I didn't have a car, but I rented an e-bike for 15 euros and explored Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with it. There is also a local taxi, who will drive you anywhere you want in Wals' area for 1 euro.

I just loved it! Well, a mini fridge instead of a not-so-cold minibar in the room would have been more practical.

The family run hotel, was superb. All the family were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were exceptional. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast had a varied assortment. However, you could also ask for fresh cooked omelette or eggs how you like them too. Requested extra pillow was sorted immediately. Facilities in the spa area very good, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings with outside pool and showers. Ideal for couples. The private lake was idyllic and a must see with fantastic views of the Alps. All the staff were friendly and we were made to feel relaxed to enjoy our break. Plenty of buses nearby, to pop into Salzburg regular half hourly. Ideal for a nice vacation.

Literally, one of the best hotels we’ve ever booked! Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Provided lots of information on the region, including restaurants, things to do, places to visit etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. High quality materials and great comfort in all areas. And the SPA - we were amazed by the spa and the pools! Never expected such a great relax and spa zone. You have access to a spa bar, calm relax zone, and as many towers as you might need! This was the first time I was not supposed to ask for a dry towel. Also, the breakfast was delicious - great variety and good food quality. Nearby, there is an Italian restaurant - a must visit for dinner. Last but not least - free parking, e-charging station and private lake! And the lake! Wow, such a beauty! 10/10 and this is the first time I am giving such a rating on booking!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean and the spa and swimming pool areas are fantastic. Breakfast was also really good. Staff was polite and caring.

We had booked the stay for escape from the summer heat in Italy and a longer way to Bulgaria to visit some parts of Austria. On the day of the trip it turned out that the weather forecast was rain and 18 degrees. Given the deviation from the end location and bad weather we called the property with the request to waive the cancellation fee kindly as we would go straight to Bulgaria instead. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating the request and we had to travel unwillingly as we had already committed to pay 200 Eur. This lack of flexibility cost us much more as we had to stay another night in Austria and this whole lack of understanding cost us about 400 km extra and maybe another 400 EURO or more in costs. Sometimes we need to be human and not only business.

We liked the location with easy access to Salzburg by public transport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool and relaxing by the outdoor one but didn’t have time in our short stay to use the other wellness facilities. Information about what time facilities were open was clear and there was lots of other information about places to visit and nearby restaurants.

One small thing- we would have liked English breakfast type tea bags and milk cartons in the bedroom.

Bedroom comfortable. Nice balcony. Fitness centre, spa and indoor and outdoor pools were excellent. Cleanliness top rate. Breakfast fabulous range and excellent service. All staff friendly and helpful.

Not the hotels fault at all but neighbour was noisy on the balcony. Smoking heavily and affected my enjoyment of the balcony as had to close my window as the smoke was coming into my room. Plus the same neighbour was on the balcony very early morning smoking and coughing heavily waking me up at 6 am.

This hotel is owned by family and they are so friendly. I met the mom, daughter and son. They are accommodating. They are so nice and they keep checking on us. The place is very clean and breakfast is awesome. It has omelet, a lot of pastries. It has safe box.supermarket Bella is 10 minutes with car. Iron is available upon request. Big closet space. Only one thing it needs USB outlet in the room and the lobby needs air freshener and fresh air.

Everything was perfect and even beyond expectation! very pleasant english speaking host /staff, spacious comfortable rooms wit big sunny terrace, exceptional inclusive leisure facilities for this size of hotel (spa, indoor and outdoor pool, private small beach on nearby lake, fitness room), amazing breakfast with excellent choice and amazing home made apfel/cheese strudel and sachertorte. location is just 10mins with car to Salzburg with big parking available. Perfect venue for a getaway weekend - definitely worth the value and highly recommended!
