Very nice family-owned hotel in Wals on the outskirts of Salzburg. Quiet neighbourhood. Hotel itself was very traditional, staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious on the 3. floor, but no aircon. Beds were very good and bathroom nice and modern. Breakfast was fantastic with everything - even an omelet station with a chef cooking your omelet to order with your selection of toppings. Evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely and well priced, with local ingredients. All in all a very nice 3-day stay.

Unfortunately the wellness area was closed without further explanation and the restaurant is not open on Sundays.

We especially liked the automated screen system that allowed us to keep the balcony door open at night for fresh air as it was warm during our stay. The staff was helpful with tips and assistance in travel into the center and back.

Our room overlooked the outdoor dining terrace which meant that conversation and dining noise drifted up to the room until 10-11 in the evening.

The room was very spacious and the bathroom too. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. The breakfast was great and we were lucky to be there for the once-a-month brunch Sunday which was even greater than the regular breakfast. The staff was very friendly and even helped us to send back some things we forgot :-) There is enough parking available and our late check.in was also no problem.

A short taxi ride from Salzburg airport (€15) A wonderful and warm hotel in every respect. The staff are helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are great value and the choice is good. Rooms are comfortable and have everything required for a short stay.

the bed consists of 2 beds for 1 person with 2 mattresses... for a couple it is not normal, although I had paid for a double bed

Breakfast was amazing. Fresh station for eggs, a lot of options for different dietary preferences (from spreads, to fresh hummus, very tasty jams, etc.)

It can get quite hot in the rooms in the summer. There is no A/C currently (as of 2022)

It was a nice location, with a very clean room and extremely kind and helpful staff. Everything was great but the breakfast was amazing. I have never seen so many food specialties for a breakfast,it was literally impossible to choose and definitely not possible to taste everything. They have some organic food and the places were they were bought.

Being a 4* hotel I would have enjoyed to have a bit more products in the bathroom ( like the vanity set), as these are products that are needed in any bathroom, equally if it’s at home or hotel.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is great. Staff are friendly.

No coffee machine in the rooms. Also, there was no slippers in the rooms.

We were welcomed upon entering the lobby. We were given recommendations of activities in the village. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered many delicious options. There was plenty of parking available on-site. I recommend and would stay there again.

I really like to have kettles and tea making facilities in the rooms, though I was able to take tea up to my room.
