Nice hotel in the heart of the tourist area. The room was nice and big and the facilities were good. Parking available close by. The hotel was amongst many restaurants, close to the ferries and other transport options.

The area was a bit busy late at night

The hotel is typically Austrian and located on a main street in the town centre. Car parking is provided a short walk away. The envitonment was clean and tidy and the bedroom was a good size, comfortable and clean. I must pay a particular tribute to the lady who ran the breakfast room. I did not get her name but she, apparently, used to own the hotel. At first glance she appeared a but stern, but in reality she was fantastic. When we observed that there were a lot of very noizy middle eastern children running around our table she re-located us to a quiet area of the breakfast room and took great care of us during our stay

The hotel was fantastic, some of the guests however were overly rowdy and demanding

The helpfulness from staff was beyond any experience we have had at any of our stays. They accommodated a very early check out and help narrow down the room I wanted to book for the next year (yes we will be staying here again!) The breakfast was delicious and well organised, always at the same table which helps for routine for little kids which we have. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and the bus stop to get to the ski lifts. Room was very neat and had a balcony onto the main street, but with the shutter down at night there is practically no noise heard from outside so our baby slept through with no issues.

I stayed there for three nights, and it was amazing. There were restaurants, markets, a bus stop, and more all nearby, and the furniture in the rooms gave you the impression that you were living in the twentieth century. On the other hand, the staff at the reception was incredibly gracious and friendly, so if I visit Zell am See again, I will make my reservations here.

Too long way to reach the room and the google map location is not correct

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were very clean

Although the breakfast was generally good the bread rolls could have been fresher and on busy mornings many things ran out fast and there was waiting time until refilled. Also the 9 eur per day on-site parking is not really on-site but rather a 5 min walk. And there are constructions going on which limits the amounts of free spaces and sometimes the construction workers blocked the guest's cars and you need to look for them to ask them to move. Also the noise isolation in the rooms was rather bad, when some neighbours flushed their toilet it felt like you are right there in the bathroom with them.

We travelled by train so being able to walk to the hotel from the train station was nice. Breakfast every morning was great. Decent selection of hot and cold items. The hotel provided the Zell am See summer card which allowed entrance free of charge to many local attractions, and discounts at many others. It also allowed use of local public transportation. For us this was a huge bonus. All of our activities while in town were free!!

The hotel is right in the middle of town so there was some noise at night. Also the room was a little on the small side.

The reception staff were very friendly and personally showed us around the amenities of the hotel. We had a fabulous evening meal in the hotel dining room.

Figuring out where to check in was somewhat difficult. To check in we had to had to go from one hotel to another, it was a bit confusing

The location of the hotel was excellent. Close to everything, right in the city centre. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.

The noise from the street at night was very loud during the weekend. We had some difficulties sleeping due to drunk people screaming on the street and poor soundproofing.

We actually stayed at the hotel's partner hotel the Hotel Romantik as Hotel Fischerwirt was closed (it was very late in the season). The hotel was beautiful and the staff were exceptionally friendly helping us with a walking itinerary and to borrow bikes to cycle around the Lake. Breakfast was amazing and dinner in the restaurant was also very good. Thoroughly recommended

Wonderful location and such a welcoming family. Every morning at breakfast (which was superb) the host made you fell very special and offered advice for activities dependant upon the weather.

it would have been nice to have had the bar open for a relaxing nightcap. Other than that faultless.
