Breakfast was amazing. The staff was super friendly. The sauna and jacuzzi were very nice.

The hotel room description had said „coffee machine“ provided. That was not the case (staff told me the rooms do not have coffee machines). The jacuzzi (on the hotel roof), however great did not work properly: Water was fairly warm, but the jets did not work. The room was clean, but when we moved the night stand there was splashes along the wall. Also, the room only had one chair (for two people).

The location of Hotel Steinerwirt is perfect if you want to be reasonably close to the skiing but also right within the town for restaurants and bars. Easy walk from the train station. Great spa area with sauna and hot tub (make sure you ask them to keep it closed so it's hot!). Friendly staff who were happy to help with requests like robes and keeping our milk in their fridge. Plentiful breakfast, with a variety of buffet items, plus you can choose how oyu'd like your eggs and coffee each morning. We ate in the restaurant once (à la carte) and the food was AMAZING - definitely try the goulash!

Room could be slightly updated as the decor is a little dated. Being close to City Xpress would be more of a bonus when the snow is good (as you can snow right down to the bottom), but we were still able to use it to get to the top, by taking a few different lifts up.

Roof top jacuzzi and sauna are both amazing. Excellent breakfast too! In general hotel is very good for these 2 reasons, price, and location is great- right in the middle of town, close to all amenities like buses, shops, restaurants, cable car.

Room was v. small and there is a strange cubicle bathroom with a sliding door beside the bed. Not very private for using the toilet. There was a fair bit of noise due to road outside and then from cleaning staff in the morning! Tiny carpark too- found it hard to get a space. Balanced out the positives. Was on a skiing holiday so wasn't there for luxury, of which there is not much. Price was fair as a result.

Great and cozy place. The room was very warm with a nice view. The Jacuzzi on the roof has a great view around. Great area for relax along with sauna. Excellent location - close to the train station, the lake, the ski lift and the bus stop to Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The staff is very helpful. In the evening when I was leaving I didn’t get to the ski rentals in time to give back the ski equipment. The girl on the reception offered me to give it back the next morning for me. They also offered me to use the sauna area to relax after a day of skiing even though I checked out by the time already.

Great location, close to the lake, the center and the cable cars. The room with a view of the courtyard was large, quiet, without air conditioning (so quite hot), the mattress was very uncomfortable, the equipment was older, but functional and clean. Breakfast OK + outdoor seating available. Good restaurant with outdoor seating and grill. Great wellness on the roof of the hotel! Hot tub, sauna, mountain view. We got a guest card which gave us free cable cars and a steamboat ride on the lake. We did not have time to use the other discounts.

Parking problem. The hotel car park is not directly at the hotel, but about 500 meters away. We didn't know where to park after arriving. It is not possible to park a car directly at the hotel.

The hotel is located a short walk away from the lake zell am see & those arriving by train will be pleased to know that the hotel is near the train station as well. The cable car for skis is opposite the hotel. Skiiers should arrive early to avoid long lines. The bus station is just opposite the hotel & is handy for those travelling to Kaprun for the panaromic cable car to “ Top of Salzburg”. Ask for the bus timetable for Kaprun from hotel staff . Housed in a wooden chalet with sloping roofs, the hotel combines modern amenities with a warm welcome of a fireplace at its entrance . Staff are helpful & efficient. There is free flow of water with vegetables & lemons at the entrance. There are complimentary fruits at the lobby too. The buffet breakfast is a treat . IN addition, guests can also order their hot beverage & omelette from the kitchen & girls dressed in traditional Austrian Dirndl will serve the breakfast piping hot. The attached restaurant is a busy & popular eatery in the area. If it happens to be fully booked, hotel guests have the privilege of being served the meals in their rooms. I sampled the classical Austrian meal of veal schitnzel & found that the version at the hotel served with cranberries is tasty & not greasy at all. If you come to this hotel, pls bring your swimming costume. I regretted not bringing mine. There is a jacuzzi at the attic. Peeping up into the attic, I watch with envy as guests swirl around in the hottub while snow falls around them. Overall, I will recommend this hotel highly as it is a welllocated hotel with clean rooms, helpful staff & tasty Austrian food.

The hotel is in the middle of the town, so everything is walkable from there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is on the main street, so the traffic was a bit noisy. There were few stains on the walls, but otherwise the room was clean. The room was small. I had to climb the bed to reach the curtains or the window. But I had known it, it was said "junior room" in the description.

Clean rooms (every day service), possible to use lift in hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, chill room with water and tea, whirlpool on the roof terrace, available sauna, location in city center (near Altstadt and Esplanade - Zeller See), tasty breakfasts. Loading place for car to do check-in, but parking 200 m away from hotel (+ and -)

I had a nice two nights stay and I was pleasantly surprised by my room. It suited my needs perfectly and the staff were all great. Kind and helpful with every question I had during my stay. The breakfast was super and I also had dinner in the restaurant one might and it was also super. The staff, the food, the price. If I return to Zell am See I will definitely stay here again.

Nothing to complain about at all.

It is like the style of a hut than a regular hotel but the room is nice and cosy , loved how close it is to the train station literally 5 or less than 5 mins walk and its price compared that it is including breakfast (which isn’t this wow ) but is very good for price and the lady at the reception was very nice and very welcoming and explained to me about the attractions and places to visit around , all in all was a very good experience loved it.
