It’s just a really good hotel, and it does all the little things right. The staff are amazing and a special mention of Erwin and Rowena who were super helpful and very nice people. They gave us a late check out.

It’s all good, it’s in a safe area of town with good restaurants around. We only found the San Miguel area near to the hotel towards the end of our stay. It’s a fair way away from the actual town centre. Having said that it’s near (10 minute walk) to a cable car station.

The views were phenomenal from Atix. The room was a nice size and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the bar on the top floor as the cocktails were top notch. The location was good for the most part and taxis were easy to come by to take us anywhere else we needed to go. Lastly, this hotel is essentially a gallery. The art throughout the hotel is beautiful and well curated.

The pool was as warm as the hot tub. It was beautiful but really too warm to cool off after a day of exploring.

The staff was some of the best I’ve seen in my travels! The rooms were comfortable, hotel decorated beautifully, and the pool was fantastic! Breakfast was always great, and I loved how they featured local food for dinner too!

The spa room could step up its decor to match the rest of the hotel, even if it were just baskets to fill the empty shelves.. The massage was okay.. The facial shouldn’t have been on the menu at all. She had no clue what she was doing.

The staff was especially helpful and friendly. We had lots of extra requests - like luggage storage over days, early breakfasts to go, etc. and they never hesitated to help us out. Breakfast was wonderful and the rooms really comfy. We will stay here again whenever we come back for work. Plus, they have a female driver for the airport transfer. I wish this was something needless to point out, but in macho Bolivia, this is one very nice step in the right direction.

The design and decor of the hotel are amazing, with original artworks throughout the common areas. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, attending to our every need. We enjoyed meals in the restaurant and drinks and appetizers on the top floor bar, with a spectacular view of La Paz. The bed was large and comfortable, and daily bottles of water were much appreciated.

The breakfast was plentiful, with an omelet station and eggs cooked to order, but somewhat lacking in originality and local specialties.

Excellent location - felt safe and located nearby a green Teleférico station. Stylish and comfortable interiors. Good showcase of Bolivian inspired art. Great breakfast. The staff were outstanding - particular thanks to reception staff who went above and beyond for any requests or needs. They were well informed and helpful in terms of activity and travel advice. One of us was unwell during our stay and when we approached reception for help they promptly put us in contact with a medical professional.

The jacuzzi wasn’t working and there were no showers at the pool area.

The staff was very helpful. First they changed our room from the first floor with a wall in front of the window to an upper floor. Second the bathroom has some problem and they tried very hard to fix. For the inconvenience they were extremely nice and offered us dinner and drinks. The restaurant was very nice and the menu very interesting and different. Upon departure one the the management also gave me a lovely scarf as a gift. I recommend the hotel, the staf and the location. the area is filled with lovely shops much better and more elegant than downtown and places for a drink and some food.

Breakfast could be better and eggs and omelette too. The jacuzzi on top with windows all round is wonderful, also a possibility of a drink from the bar on that level. Unfortunately people used it at 7 am in the morning creating a lot of noise if you room is right below.

The pool and jacuzzi , the restaurant and the staff are the key strengths . Particularly great were the driver Hilver, the front desk team and the two Andres and their colleagues in the restaurant

The rooms are only okay and have some issues with climate control , but great views on the best side of the hotel and quite clean and comfortable overall . Also hotel should improve the gym and fix the loud motor on the jacuzzi

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful! The rooms were modern and spacious. The restaurant downstairs was delicious! The complimentary breakfast was incredible - many sweet and savoury options with plenty of vegetarian alternatives. Great location in a safe area!

Atix has a contemporary vibe. quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms with views and sun. walking distance to up market dining and pleasant shopping Also the Yellow teleferico station is walking distance ( buy a ticket for the yellow and then green if you want to go all the way to the top of the hills ). Highly recommend this great value for money outing as view of city are outstanding.

The public spaces felt bit lacking in personality and energy. Staff are pleasant but not proactive about engaging with guests. We chose Atix to be away from the busy and noisy main tourist areas of La Paz. Atix is 30 minute taxi ride from the central area (45 mins to airport) in very upscale residential area. Right location for our needs but if this is your first visit to La Paz it’s not close to tourist areas.
