The location is great, close to el Prado and lots of restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is the best with an amazing view, great chef and staff. Alejandro at the front desk was very attentive and helpful!

We stayed on the 6th floor and the restaurant was right on top of us so it was quite loud all the time, early morning and late night until restaurant was closed so not the most relaxing if wanting peace and quiet, maybe another floor is better for this. At the same time our room had an amazing view that you can’t even get at the Ritz which we stayed before. Restaurant and service much better than Ritz.

Amazing staff - initially arrived at 6am and could check in early (note - had to pay half the room fee) which was great. we also had to extend our stay as we were both ill and they sorted this out for us. Quick & good laundry service. Rooms itself were really nice and clean, comfy bed, felt safe. Bar/terrace was really nice with good views - didn’t eat here so unable to comment on food. Didn’t try breakfast as was ill. Location was okay - not in the middle of the action but able to walk 20 mins to most things or get cheap uber easily!

No dislikes! But Early check in costing half the room price seemed a little steep as it was already ready and didn’t need to be cleaned - but not major issue, we needed extra sleep after a long night bus so happy to pay!

The Madero hotel is the most modern hotel in the zone. The ubication is perfect to go around and do tourist, most of the tours go from the zone. The room was perfect to take a rest. The wifi was perfect.

Breakfast was a buffet but it didn't have many options and it wasn't enough for all the guests we were. They also did not replenish products that were already out of stock frequently enough.

The staff were extremely welcoming and the front desk provided some of the best service I received in Bolivia. They made the check in process very efficient. In our group, some received very spacious rooms and some others hoped for more room. The warm shower and nicely styled bathroom and speedy wifi were welcomed additions for work travel. My favourite part was the rooftop cafe and included morning breakfast.

The beds in my room were very, very hard but my colleagues stated they didn't have the same experience. There was a kettle in the room but no access to tea and coffee. When I requested it, I was responded to via WhatsApp quickly but needed to purchase the tea from the rooftop cafe. Thus, I was slightly confused by the presence of mugs, spoons and a kettle. Overall for the price and location this is a good place to stay.

This is a nice modern hotel in a busy part of La Paz. We were there as a family of 6 adults and used the hotel as a launching point for exploring the city and surrounding area. We booked three rooms, I highly recommend paying extra for the suite as I thought the other rooms were a little small. We loved the rooftop bar/restaurant and spent much time admiring the views and the food. The restaurant staff was very professional and friendly, putting up with my poor Spanish. Most of the staff spoke good English. I have to compliment the front desk staff, especially Marciello? and Kevin. They were outstanding helping us organize tours and with some tricky logistical issues. They truly went above and beyond with their help.

All good.

Great hotel, super friendly staff. The last day they made us some breakfast to go because our flight was very early. Great gesture.

They are starting to sell pizza, but it was very bad, I got sick I think some ingredients were not good and the pizza was very poorly prepared. They did not know how we could pay for it. At the end it was charged to the room. I would suggest also to start breakfast at 6 am because they offer really good tours and stuff to do starting at the same time breakfast starts: 7 am, so you don't have time to eat. Also would be nice if they had someone to take you to your room and explained how everything works, it was kind of hard for us to figure everything out.

This hotel is located in a good location. Lots going on around and we felt pretty safe. There were lots of ships and restaurants within walking distance. Only stayed over one night as we had to fly out early in the morning. We had a lovely dinner on the rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view over the city and mountains, watching the fireworks. The service was great and they even prepared us a bagged breakfast for our early morning departure. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this hotel.

ROOM 503. The facilities are fantastic and it's the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The layout was spacious too which is great and the area is quiet even though we faced the main street. BREAKFAST was DELICIOUS and quite generous - lots of pastries, cereal, toast, tea/coffee, juices. If you get there near closing time (9.30am) understandably stock will be low and they won't restock it to limit food waste (which is a good thing). TAXIS, the hotel is on a main one-way street and you can easily hail a taxi any time. A trip to the airport cost us 80BOB at a busy time (lunch ish) so we agree with the other travellers - no more than 90BOB and no need to ask the staff to help you as it's not possible to book taxis in advance.

ROOM: We had trouble with our sink leaking in the kitchen - despite flagging this with management within an hour of check in, no one ever came to fix it or look at it (they said they would on multiple occasions). So for our four day stay we had to wash everything in the bathroom sink. It was coming out from the bottom of the cupboard and the mouldy water stains inside the cupboard indicates it has been happening for a very, very long time. The shower also leaked from the rail onto the floor but they were happy to always give extra towels so we managed it. WIFI: We did have trouble getting the wifi at level 5 (it just disconnected constantly) but a sim in Bolivia is cheap so we just didn't bother after a bit.

Clean, warm (with noiseless heating), best shower in our trip, super friendly staff, great location. If you come with dollars, the first thing you should do is ask about their exchange rate. Breakfast was good and their two restaurants (one of them on the rooftop) were excellent so we ate there often (superb executive menu with several dishes for 30 Bs or 3 USD).

For some reason they knock on your door and ask questions or enter the room several times a day, which is annoying and can be awkward. We complained and they stopped doing it.

Great location - the airport minibus stopped right beside it and there are many restaurants nearby along with phone shops for tourist SIM cards. Not many hotels in La Paz have a good standard of bathrooms but this hotel was. P.s I stayed in this hotel before Uyuni and came back a week later and was impressed that the hotel worker (sadly i have forgotten his name) remembered my name and he was very helpful in general. Also, without me even asking, he even asked other guests if i could share their taxi to save my money.

Bathroom fan didn't work but not really important to my stay.
