I really liked this hotel and the area it’s in — it’s a super cool neighborhood with lots of bars, restaurants, and places to walk around just outside. I stayed on the top floor, which was great! The room had AC, a nice view, and those skylight windows on the ceiling, which I loved. The receptionists were very kind and even arranged a taxi for me early in the morning to go to the airport. I had a really pleasant stay — I felt super safe and the location is amazing. You can literally walk to all the main tourist spots in Sarajevo from there, it’s very well connected.

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we found a bed bug on one of the towels in the bathroom. We informed the staff, and they explained that their towels are cleaned at an outside facility. We checked the beds and didn’t find any other bugs, so it didn’t seem to be a bigger problem. While the staff were nice, I personally wouldn’t stay here again because of the bed bug incident.

Its really close to the bars and stuff so if you don't like hearing loud music and bass drums etc at bight then it's probably not good for you. I'm a deep sleeper so wasn't a problem for me but definitely worth considering. The breakfast wasn't massively varied so ideally they needed to include more protein based choices. They also need to hoover the hotel floor as it wasn't that clean.

I had a really good stay. All the staff were very warm and friendly and helpful in resolving any issues. The room was also a decent size as well. It is a perfect location and close to everything you need. They also had a really nice restaurant with amazing food!

It's in the city centre so it gets a little noisy as it's close to bars but it's definitely manageable

Even though the hotel is in surrounded by lots of restaurants & bars and close to all the mosques etc., my room on the 3rd floor was very quiet.

My mattress/bed was hard for my taste so I cushioned it with another comforter & pillows. The TV had NO English speaking channels even though a taxi driver told me they were available & he had them. Al Jazeera was the Balkan version. I like to watch the news. This was the 1st time I've encountered no English channels & very few channels were even available.

Hotel Astra is in great location close to the Old Town, bars, the river, cable car etc. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Mustafa for helping with my bus ticket and taxi to the correct bus station (Sarajevo has more than one bus station!) Rooms are clean and comfortable with a good breakfast included. Strong WiFi in all areas too. The onsite restaurant is good, alcohol free but plenty of bars across the road!

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was really big and clean with everything you need. It is close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The restaurant was amazing, staff were amazing and the food was really tasty and for a low cost.

Nice hotel located very close to the old centre, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby. The staff is nice and ready to help. The hotel kindly did not charge me for one of the nights which I missed due to missing a plane connection. Very good breakfast.

My room was at the top floor and only had one small window, whose blinds I couldn't lift, so I was not getting any natural light in. There was no water bottles in the room when I arrived. Otherwise everything was fine.

This place is right in the center, the location is very good, the staff is attentive and friendly, I will choose it again if I go to Sarejevo
