great location, nicely renovated, hot tub and steam room add to great experience as does really good breakfast, likely best value at Lake Louise

A nice spacious room with lots of plug and charging cable sockets. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and a buffet that was kept very well stocked up. We loved the banana bread, cinnamon buns and of course the waffles! Loved the hot tub and steam room - that really made a difference to tired legs after a day on the slopes! Comfortable beds. Great to have the kettle and fridge in the room. Very helpful staff at reception and very friendly breakfast staff too. The ski boot drying rack in the room was appreciated too. We liked that we could walk out to most of the dining options in LL village. The free shuttle bus to the slopes each morning was very efficient and ran at good regular intervals.

Some more space for hanging up clothes would be good. The room temperature was far too warm - would be good if you could adjust the temperature setting to individual preference per room - we ended up having to keep the windows open even at minus 10 outside at night

4th stop of our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, we spent 1 night at Mountaineer Lodge. What we liked: + Considering some reviews, we were apprehensive (noise, disappointing breakfast, etc.). However, our room in the main building was very quiet, and all services were perfect (note that we weren't there in full season). + Beautiful room with very comfortable bedding, well-equipped + Enjoyed the jacuzzi area + More than adequate breakfast + Good value for money + Several great visits nearby, including a walk on frozen Lake Louise and a detour to Morant's Curve + Ideally located for traveling the stunning Icefields Parkway towards Jasper, with many stops along the way (Peyto Lake, Mistaya Canyon Trail, Athabasca Glacier, Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Falls, and many more)

What we liked less: - Not related to the hotel, but in this season, activities in the heart of Lake Louise are very limited (we wouldn't have wanted to spend a second evening there)

Breakfast was good and the hours that it was available were nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom space was really nice with the motion activated lighting for under the sink. Hot tub was really nice facility to enjoy. Check in and communication with the front desk was easy. Wi-fi was fast and able to accommodate ability to work remotely.

Hot water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. For an extended stay, had to ask the front desk for fresh bed linens which they accommodated, but would've preferred they do it without us asking.

Friendly hotel staff, complimentary breakfast with good selection of hot / cold food & beverages Ski bus pick up drop off at front door Great indoor hot tub & stream room for apres ski (very clean) Refurbished rooms in main building lovely

Hotel (aware when booked) has no facilities for dinner, nor bar. Limited choice in Lake Louise especially if you do not have a car and roads / pavements covered in snow / ice from recent storm. Limited taxi service in Lake Louise.

The breakfast was good and with lots of options. Nevertheless, when it was a little busier, they ran out of everything very soon (whether dishes, cups or hot food). It is one of the cheaper options in Lake Louise town. Staying in that town makes travel times to the lakes a lot shorter, but since you need to drive to P&R at the Ski Resort anyway, you might consider sleeping elsewhere (but Banff NP is pricey anyway).

We had a terrible room with an extremely loud A/C and almost no space. Room 33 was way smaller than others in the same category (we saw that when looking at the fire route map just before checking out and then taking a peek inside some other rooms). Upon arrival rooms weren't ready. We had to wait for 45 minutes (after the start of check-in time) and even then others had to wait much longer. The hot-tub is no fun. The pool room absolutely has no atmosphere at all.

The location is excellent, a walking distance from the Samson Mall, where all the shuttles for Lake Louise and Lake Moraine depart from. We were welcome by a friendly and helpful staff and our room made available even if it was slightly before 4.00 pm. The room and bathroom were pristine and exceptionally well equipped. As a matter of fact, the room looked deceitfully simple until you started looking around and noticing the details, from the bigger than average fridge with a separate freezer to the boots' dryer and the make-up mirror. The beds are excellent, the perfect combination of softness and firmness, something unusual in hotels. The wifi is very good and there's no lack of power outlets to charge your devices. Very, very satisfied.

Everything was fine.

The room was renovated and nice looking. The beds were comfortable. The room was a corner room so it had great airing. The staff was really friendly and that really added to a good experience (major advantage). They were always smiling and said good morning and we're helpful. The breakfast was okay too. Plenty of options. The place is located in the middle of Lake Louise, so great to get around. Excellent indoor hot tub. Plenty of parking outside.

No elevators, so you walk up with your luggage. Not too bad though. As is everything around, quite expensive for what you get. Note that in Lake Louise Town, there are not a lot of restaurants, and some only take their own hotel guests. And all are very expensive.

It has a convenient and accessible location to Lake Louise -- the main attraction. The team even surprised us with some snacks and a handwritten card for our honeymoon. The room itself was spacious and clean, with strong water pressure for the shower. The included breakfast exceeded expectations, the DIY waffle making experience was fun for the both of us, coupled with real maple syrup

We needed to move our car a couple of times due to tour buses and other trucks coming in, requiring road space

We arrived early but weren’t able to check in but we were able to change to ground floor as oldies over here for 8 weeks from Australia…fair bit of luggage… Receptionist was excellent explaining everything and stayed us plenty by suggesting local bud $2 per person each way to lake Louise. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Our rom was one of the new renovated rooms very nice well appointed and comfortable beds. Great breakfast and quiet.

From our Australian perspective a bit pricey but I guess that’s for the location.
