It was a great location with stunning views from the terrace in the restaurant. The room was spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds. The staff were very accommodating when we arrived early and looked after our bags while our room was being prepared and we went in to town.

Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the car park by the restaurant entrance and we could have done with some net curtains for privacy as everyone looked into our room on the way to the restaurant! The restaurant was very nice but we found everything (Including the accommodation), very pricey!

We stayed at the Juniper Hotel for our wedding! Staff was amazing to communicate with and they were so kind. There was a fridge to store my bouquet due to having an early morning ceremony. The room we stayed in was clean and nice! The entry into the room was a bit slanted/awkward, but other than that the view was absolutely stunning and the chairs outside of the room was stellar. Tons of gorgeous natural light was wonderful. Facility was clean and excellent. The Bistro was AMAZING. We ate there twice and they were absolutely wonderful!

We loved the views from our room and that we could step right out of our room onto the terrace to enjoy them. We thought the room was a good size and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and the shuttle to get into town was really useful. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious.

There was a small amount of confusion about where to get the shuttle from in town as there seemed to be 2 drop off points and it was a little unclear as to where we needed to go.

After a long drive we would have liked a drink in the bar but the bar was closed, the staff were getting the dining area ready for the evening meal so between 15h and 17h the bar was closed every afternoon between these times. For the rest of our stay we spent our time in town so this didn't worry us anymore after the first evening, it just seems unusual that two people sitting at the bar, not even in the dining area were upsetting the setting of the tables.

A lovely 2-night stay in Banff - the hotel is exceptional from the room to the staff. The room was well accommodating, clean and spacious. The staff were so lovely and told us the best way to get to Lake Louise as it was very hard to get into due to high demand. The hotel is about a half an hour's walk along the main road from the hub of Banff, however, there is a free shuttle service and bikes.

Couldn't just get a snack - maybe even a vending machine would be useful.

The quietness, the fact it's away from all the other hotels, and the congestion you normally hear and get from downtown Banff. The food was delicious and highly recommended by the staff. The hotel and its staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Stayed here before and was looking forward to coming back. I had a king-size bedroom. Found this room much bigger than my last stay at this hotel. Didn't care much for the scenery, I'm easygoing, and as long as I'm comfortable in bed, I'm all good! There were children on the same floor and I didn't hear much!

No elevators lol! No...I don't find too much wrong with this hotel. As for the "no elevators", I needed the exercise anyways! 🤣 You get what you pay for. I paid for a well-deserving place to rest and relax. Enough said!

The location was great, just up a small hill overlooking Banff. Easy access by car to the rest of the National park. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend booking a Mountain View room, as although it was a bit extra, the view from the window and outside seating area were more than worth it. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but rather popped into town each morning to the nearby Tim Hortons.

The only downside might be the location if you don’t have a car, as it is slightly outside of Banff, although this was not an issue for us as we had hired a car for our trip.

I was able to get someone to make me a fire outside each day I was there The view was exceptional I enjoyed not being down town, it was quiet in the sense that the location wasn't crowded and we were surrounded by nature

I had booked what ever hotel was still available in the price range I was prepared to pay but did not research more than that thinking Banff was Banff. I was disappointed to be right on the highway, kind of noisy when lounging outside but that was the ONLY down point

We loved staying at the Juniper! The hotel was convenient, secluded and quiet with only a 5 minute drive from the action of downtown Banff. We had a 1st floor room with a small walkout patio. The room had a full wall of windows so every morning we awoke to seeing the beautiful mountains. Our bed and pillows were super comfy and we slept great! The room also had a mini fridge so that our water and beverages stayed cold for our mountain hikes. I'm an avid gardener so naturally I enjoyed seeing the Rocky Mountain wildflower gardens all around the property. On our final night we ate dinner at the Juniper Bistro. Our meal was awesome!

Although the bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was very small.

The hotel manager kindly upgraded us to a room with the most amazing easterly view over the mountains and some outdoor patio space. The room was very large and well-equipped, massive bed, a bathroom with loads of hooks and shelves to put stuff on - and did I mention the view? The hotel's bistro was fab - great food/drinks and lovely staff - and another view! The hotel is located a short walk out of the town towards Mt Norquay - for us, the short 15-minute walk into town was a bonus and we loved the quieter location and the amazing views towards Banff.

The only thing (and it's probably just for guests from the UK) would be a kettle in addition to the coffee machine - for a cultural need for a cup of tea!!! But there wasn't anything we didn't like.
