Spent two days on a business trip and experienced Best Western Plus as an "upscale motel". The suite was roomy, clean, even had a corner balcony. The full breakfast buffet had daily varying offerings and real ceramic plates and_ real silverware. We were impressed by the friendly staff (reception, breakfast, and cleaning), especially by the very helpful lady at the reception who went the extra mile to create an EU-compliant tax invoice and helped with special requests.

I have stayed at this property several times as a family member lives in Chemainus. The staff is generally friendly and the breakfast and pool is great.

I really like this property but there was an odd situation over breakfast and non allowance over visitors. I gave stayed at 2 other Best Westerns this summer and had the option to pay for an additional breakfast. It seems odd not to make an exception for guests if they are visiting a local and wish to invite that person to join (and pay) for breakfast. I realize the hotel might not want to become a breakfast spot, but this kind of exception should be made, particularly for a local resident.

Very nice staff who seemed to care about your comfort. Very good with the dog. Breakfast was o.k. good selection , not so sure about the cooked portion. Great to see the electric car chargers,maybe a couple more would be nice.

Someone was parked in the electric car charger 2 days in a row and it was not an electric vehicle maybe check that out.

Breakfast buffet life saver with kids and ease of mind. So much variety. Facilities, pool excellent. Location walkable to main town. Friendly staff

We did not have housekeeping services the third night we stayed on Friday night. Disappointed when we came back to our room not cleaned. Staff very apologetic said hotel was completely booked and understaffed…we did notice how busy it got.

Loved getting a message our room was ready early Thank you for that!!! Breakfast was great but being a Sunday it would have been nice to have the hours extended to 10 am.The variety of choices was a good, eggs, sausage, waffles juices, etc.

we had 3 people in our room that slept 4, a last minute change. Towels were only enought for 2 to shower. Yes I could have requested more but we were in a hurry to get to our event and arrived back late and no one was at the desk.

Lovely room very well stocked, bed very comfortable. Lovely breakfast available and quite a good choice as it was included. Very good Value.

Heater was very noisy in room so unplugged it. We had a room close to the roundabout and there was a lot of heavy lorries going into the property behind, early in the morning. If we stayed again we would ask for a room at the opposite end.

Fantastic staff. Really caring and welcoming. Great breakfast. Large, very clean pool. Kitchenette in room. Large room, really powerful and hot showers. One of the nicest stays we have had at a Best Western.

Not the hotels fault but we struggled with the soft mattresses. We are used to very firm mattresses and they didn’t suit us.

Location is great and quiet. Halfway to Victoria and rest of the outdoors up north. Everything is very clean Breakfasts were slightly different and delicious every day. Which was great.

The only downside is the pool. Always crowded, people you have never seen water or what?! Literally from 7am till 9pm it was full of people.

I loved how when I requested a room on the first floor, they upgraded us at no extra charge. The room was amazing,so spacious and clean. The breakfasts are amazing and the mineral pool is so wonderful. All staff, including kitchen staff,frontdesk, and housekeepers, are exceptionally friendly.

Really spacious suite with super comfy beds and well appointed kitchen, including a pod coffee machine. We got complimentary cookies when we arrived, and the staff were super accommodating helping us store our bicycles. Really exceeded our expectations!

This is a minor thing but the hot tub is not very big- max 5 people at a time. Considering the size of the hotel, I expected a 6-8 person hot tub.
