Very plush clean comfy bed. Nice tv, mini fridge, coffee maker and coffee. CLEAN LOVELY SHOWER CURTAIN. I hate it when the bathroom smells like pee because it’s the mildew on the shower curtain, yuk. Sorry to be so graffic but it happens all the time. Nice hot shower, friendly staff. Would stay again

The door knob is funky old but it works. The rooms had a smell like the old cigar smoke was going to sneak out away unless the room is totally aired out before guests arrive. The outside looks worn but that helps keep prices down so yaaay.

As advertised! Very clean and new upgrades to room were most comfortable!

Road noise was quite loud. Seemed to come thru the window AC/heating unit as it’s not completely sealed off due to venting requirements. Outside traffic noise settled after 10:30 pm and resumed about 7 am. Can’t be helped, but it was bit disruptive for sleep in an otherwise quiet and accessible location.

Convenient location on a road trip road the island, room was a good size and clean.

The shower head leaked, so pressure wasn't great, pillows werent comfy (too big and bulky, crooked my neck). When checking in they didn't know how much I was paying, not sure if their system was down or not, but they filed out a paper form and asked me what room I booked and what rate...

The room was renovated, clean, the bed was comfortable, the price was good, the staff was responsive. The location is in-between where I was going so convenient.

I needed a desk and the room I had did not have one. They did provide a small table and I found a used computer desk. Next time I will bring a folding desk or table.

Needed a place to rest and we all slept in past when we normally wake up. We awoke at 9:30 am when we normally wake up at 5 or 6 am. It was peaceful and we felt refreshed after we left.

It's just a little bit older but I appreciate the value of it. I would stay there again if I needed to. We need more places that have a good value like this.

The motel is basic but comfortable ,quiet , in a convenient location. The rooms were spacious enough but we had one of the new suites, which was very nice. The manager and other staff were accommodating and pleasant. We felt very welcome.

Wow to be honest before arriving I had read some reviews on another website and they almost put us off staying here. We were very pleasantly surprised. Yes the property is older but it is an old style highway motel. The room was very clean, updated decor, comfy beds and air conditioning. We didn't hear any highway noise at all and the check in staff was chatty and friendly. Don't miss this value gem because of some poor reviews. I would stay here again and recommend this motel.

Actually there is nothing we didn't like. It exceeded our expectations.

Even though the Motel is on the highway, we have never noticed a problem with noice. Very convenient for us when travelling to Victoria. Rooms have been updated and are perfectly fine for a short stay. Beds very comfortable!!

It was a nice clean motel, with a comfortable bed and a staff that was always willing to help out. Though on the highway inside it was quiet and though not the brightest space there were nice amenities like the kitchenet, locally sourced coffee, tv and a shower with really great water pressure would definitely recommend it.

There was limited natural light, the floor in the washroom seemed to accumulate water very easily and there weren't any sidewalks around the motel until you walk into Chemainus, so you end up walking next to the road.

The room was very clean and the staff was extremely lovely! I stayed there only for 2 nights to explore the area, it’s greatly located to go on hikes all around the area or visit the historical villages nearby.
