Every thing is good.. prefect .Hotel is super clean.

They provide a sofa bed but not blanket and pillow.. and when i ask a staff they said we dont provide for sofa bed. But if they provide a sofa bed and for sure some one sleep on sofa bed. But how can it be without blanket and pillow?

location, clean, and new facility

We checked in and given keys. Just before walking out of lobby to get our luggage from the car, the lady said our room was double booked and our room was gone! I showed her the booking confirmation email from Booking.com, but she said the computer system made error. After talking to her manager she said they were able to arrange another room for us. Then we got our luggage, took the elevator and then walked to our room. Just before open the door we were shocked a lady opened the door rushed out and bombarded to my face, it was the lady at the front desk! Why she got our room before us??? After in we saw the beds were barely set and it seemed someone rest here before, so we guessed it was there rest room at night shift.

This hotel was wonderful, from the continental breakfast to the heated pool and slide that my kids loved and the location. Everything was perfect, if we ever come back to this area we will be sure to stay here.

Everything was perfect except for the beds. The mattresses were pretty hard, would love it if they were softer, the kids didn't like them either.

The pool and water slides were a hit with my 3 year old, the breakfast was simple and convenient, lots of like minded, family orientated guests with children in similar age groups as our child was also a nice bonus at the pool. Rooms were very clean, Matrix shampoo and conditioner was so amazing to see!

Hotel front desk could have been a little friendlier. I’ve been working in hospitality for over 15 years. I was a housekeeper, housekeeping assistant manager at 5 star Relais and Chateau property (Sonora Resort), assistant catering manager and front desk attendant at Crown Isle Resort. Front Desk Agents are the face of the hotel. You have to be friendly and chatty!!

We stayed here twice, within two weeks of each time–once when we flew in late from Vancouver to Nanaimo and once when we flew back out. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast offered plenty to start one's day, including bagels/bread/english muffins plus jam, muffins, yogurt, cereal, cheese, hard boiled eggs, all-day coffee and water, etc. There is also a very nice, large gazebo out in front if one wants to sit outside rather than in one's hotel room.

I had phoned and requested early checkin as was going to a wedding that afternoon at 4. The front desk took my phone number and said they would call if a room was available earlier then the 3pm checkin. They called me at 12:30pm to say Room was ready. The early checkin made such a difference for us and was we were very appreciative that they called.

The breakfast offerings were somewhat limited due to novel coronavirus. All guests wore their masks as expected, unless they were eating, which was great. I found the decor and the convivial atmosphere relaxing. The staff was very helpful and great at making everything in the breakfast area move as smoothly as possible. The location is great, just 5 mins from Ladysmith and one of the best beaches on the island. This hotel features a nice and well-maintained area to relax outside the front doors equipped with seating, tables and a bbq. The common areas are as pictured, nicely decorated, and the staff are all very helpful and will provide visitors with a list of options of where to find restaurants and take-outs in the area. A supermarket and other services are handily located just 5mins away by car.

There is a coffee machine near the breakfast area that is available throughout the day. Since my preference is to have a latte or cappuccino, I was disappointed to find that these options were not available. I also wish this hotel had an indoor pool exclusively for adults because the swimming pool area tends to be dominated by young children and their carers whooping it up on the water slide. I found the pool area overwhelmingly noisy and too crowded to actually swim. If that's your scene, that's great but, this wasn't clear from the website, and had we known what the circumstances would be, we would have opted for different hotel.

The hotel was very conveniently located and easily accessible right next to the highway. I liked that the hotel seemed very new and clean. The breakfast had lots of choices but no hot food. The front desk clerk was very helpful. She found information on highway closures for me for our day trip to Tofino and additionally suggested some other locations in that area that might be worth visiting. My kids really liked the water slide at the pool. I was able to use laundry facilities there as well.

The breakfast room was kind of small and very crowded during busy time so there was no way to be socially distanced and most people were not wearing masks. The room didn't seem to have enough electrical outlets. We had to unplug lamps to charge electronics. It was a minor inconvenience though and I would totally stay here again if I came back this way.

beautiful yet convenient location! lovely table by a brook to enjoy morning coffee. staff was incredibly friendly, and eager to please. anna(terry) was definitely one of my favorite things about this hotel. she was amazing!

staff where excellant and place was very clean. Rooms compact and could use a few hooks by door for coats given the small size. Loved window bench and pool. Pool was a bit cool and no one was monitoring how many people where in pool so several times was very crowded so we elected to leave. Pool fun/ great for kids/ very clean and usually had pool towels pool slide fun. Nice walk along creek and railway. Everyone we meet around oyster bay friendly as was the town of ladysmith. Snowed in and disputed being short staff hotel staff went above and beyond. Navigating covid limitations well. Bag breakfast a good covid alternative. OverLl great place with fun pool for kids. Relaxed friendly and efficient staff!! Nice local walks. Beautiful room view of trees and creek! Nice outdoor spaces

pool great but sometimes over crowded for covid era and a bit to cold for us. rooms smaller no divid between bed and kitchen wall. No hook for coats by door. No balcony’s
