The rooms were very large and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The management very welcoming and personable. The beds and pillows very comfortable and room temperature just fine. There was a very large restaurant right next door which we used a couple of times. Staff and food were fine.

As it was located in town on a road that was also a part of the TransCanada Highway we at times could hear a lot of traffic, especially at night. Also a few blocks away, while walking to the downtown area, we had to walk by homeless people preparing drugs huddles together with their carts right on the sidewalk. After that we would cross to the other side of the street but a few were there too.

Surprisingly quiet for location, pretty inside for the price, live edge table and big TV were great. Good size fridge and there is a microwave. Close to a few restaurants - I went to Luna down Victoria and it was excellent.

Van Houten coffee (blechh). Not enough hot water for bath, and hand/body soap bar so dry I couldn’t really use it. Sketchy part of town, made the mistake of walking down Victoria - fire truck and ambulances at the Recovery Centre. Totally fine in daylight, and no judgement for people struggling with addiction but as a non-binary person I took Nicol back as there was more traffic, but needed to cross four lanes without a crosswalk to take the eastern sidewalk past the small tent city and then cross back at the next set of lights.

The room was good value for the price. Clean and the beds were the proper size (Not too big and two as we needed) The Location was convenient for access travelling to/from and dining options - but needed to use car. [ see next ] Parking was direcly adjacent to the room.

The nearby restaurant - MGM - was a disapointment. They were closed the morning of our departure - so no breakfast there. The day of our arrival was the Sunday of the "Turkey Day" weekend, the service was less than stellar. [ Iqnored for 15 minutes on entry, iqnored for a further 10 minutes after being seated, finally got menus and water some time after that, generally service slow while others were waited on. etc.]

The room was lovely and spacious. The king bed was huge and very comfty!! Tv worked well and we enjoyed watching it in bed. Bathroom was clean, well stoked, spacious and warm. Good to have a fridge. Very close to a convenience store, gas pump and public transport. Restaurant next door is great value and very yummy

There was no remote for the aircon unit and possibly wasn't working at this time. But was not and issue at all. Otherwise all was good

The room looked like it was just renovated. The flooring was great; the table awesome; the bathroom very clean; the coffee maker and refrigerator worked well; the beds and pillows were comfortable. It was not noisy at all. What can I say? We loved our stay in Room 221!

The fridge was too cold. It froze my milk overnight. Not a big deal. Perhaps need some hooks for coats and somewhere to hang up clothes.

Allan the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. He made our stay a great experience just by his aura. The room was clean and tidy. It smells good. No complains. Close to downtown area and a restaurant and fastfood.

I was not able to properly watch tv because Im not sure if the cable was on or jot or maybe I didnt know how to use it but other than that its fine. I highly recommend the place.

The price.

The operator scared me by almost withholding my damage deposit. According to some poor bookkeeping, he told me the damage deposit had been repaid when it had not. I had absolutely no other money and needed the refund to continue my trip. He made me wait a long time when it wasn't my fault at all. I said why would someone have returned my damage deposit when my stay wasnt over yet. This ruined my whole experience as I was afraid I was going to be broke and stranded. If you want to be scared to death and have your integrity challenged, then this is the place to stay. I won't be staying here again.

I booked this place last minute as I arrived to the island and realized I didn't want to drive through curving dark forest at night. This was a pleasant surprise for such an affordable price - plus it has everything you need for a quick sleep break on a road trip: nearby food and a gas station. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a good stay.

Only thing I'd imrpove on is the clarity on check out and also the $200 deposit when you check in. Me and a couple of other guests were confused about the process and were both in a time crunch.

Room was clean, however, the heater in the bathroom was rusty, bathroom fan did not work, shower curtain rod was rusty and there was a foot long/wide spot on the carpet beside one of the beds which we reported. We had to ask for towels and the complimentary bar of soap was the size of a loonie and just as thick..we measured. I was not impressed with the mandatory $200.00 deposit even though I paid the room upfront and I was not impressed with how we were handled at check out and us not getting deposit back until the room was checked for damages while we were still there.

The bed was super comfy. I stayed May 19th and 24th. Room was clean. Close to amenities. Restaurant next door was a bonus. Lots of amenities within walking distance- McDonald's, Dairy Queen, convenience store, gas station.

Not the motel's fault/control but lots of sirens and homeless people hanging around across the street in the evening.
