Having a microwave, fridge & Keurig coffee maker was just perfect as I like to make my own breakfast ! Renovated room and bathroom was really nice - I like the flooring : easy to keep hygenic & clean..... never did like carpets in hotel rooms ! Loved the online check-in ! No hassles at a front desk - especially appreciated as I arrived at 11 p.m. ! Also checking out was a non-issue ! Loved the coded-entry : again no hassles with keys. However - liked that Juan was at the front desk to ask for more coffee !

The only thing that would have been a bonus since the weather was wonderful - would have been a balcony... but not a deal-breaker. Since I was on business ... I really only slept in the room .

The man at the reception was really friendly, and the accomodation was really new. The bed and pillows were also really comfortable. The room was also quite good as we didn't hear noise from other rooms, as well as the traffic even though the location was by a highway. The air conditioner/fan system was a blessing in the hot day, and even though it's small it's enough to make the room really cold.

We had room service/cleaning once, but the things in the bathroom weren't refilled (makeup removing wipes, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo). I think the towel/bath mat wasn't changed as well, because when I opened it there was hair on it. There also wasn't any water or kettle in the room, which was a bit inconvenient as we had to go buy bottles of water. The hallway was also really hot and stuffy (the room was as well when we went in).

This property was very close to the ferry. We arrived at 1 am and were able to self check-in. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, nice shower, fenced grass area, and sliding door for our service dog. In the room there was nice coffee, a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, and some kitchen necessities. We both appreciated the rainfall shower head and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. This was a perfect place for us to rest our heads along our journey to Tofino. We also appreciated the price.

No complaints at all.

Location is amazing and it's a short distance to Downtown Nanaimo via car. We were upgraded to a nice, spacious 2 bedroom with a balcony. The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, fridge, and kitchen sink.

My family and I checked in the room and used the free Wi-Fi; however, it was cut off 3 to 4 hours before checkout time as we have already prepaid our room for 2 nights. We would like to still have access to the free Wi-Fi included in the room until checkout.

I was quite surprise how nice this place it! It was so clean and we love the interior! The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the Netflix installed in our room! I love that there's tall table right infront of the bed so we got to eat while watching on big screen comfortably. I saw there were plates, glasses, utensils and pots if you want to eat. Microwave and fridge are also available in our room. The parking is free and just outside our room. We will come back for sure!

Due to its location, it can get noisy because of cars passing by.

The staff were wonderful! Very helpful and cheerful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had luggage to carry up the stairs. We're seniors. Before I knew it, the lady from the check-in took the heaviest and biggest suitcase and brought it up the stairs for us. The rest was manageable. She also took the time to show me and make sure I understood how to lock and unlock the doors and was gracious about showing me again. We had no complaints about the room or the beds. I searched and reviewed a lot before I found this little gem of a place and the time was worth it. The price was very reasonable compared to other places. We also felt very safe!

The only thing that would have been nice is to have a regular chair to sit on if needed, rather than higher bar stools. It's easier for seniors to get up and down from and sit on. The room was a bit small but it was suitable, no complaint really, and included everything we needed.

These recently renovated rooms were very high quality and honestly took me by surprise. Great customer service. I didn't realize that I was going to be checking in later than staff would be at the site. The manager proactively called me to see if I would arrive before she left for the day. They use a mobile checkin app that I used to checkin and was then provided room key codes and wifi codes so I could just walk up into my room upon arrival. Have to say, this was one of the better checkin experiences and I have travelled a lot.

So relaxing. Peaceful. Had a couple of hard days travel and was too tired to drive highway 4 home. Lovely greeting from a sweet man at the front desk after 11pm. Settled into a nicely updated suite with a king sized bed, great shower and a little yard outside the sliding door of my room. Felt like an oasis and I am so glad I got to stay there.

I did have the company of a very large beetle beast in the shower, but honestly it presented no harm.

Rooms are nicely updated, comfortable beds, and exceptional customer service from front desk. Only drawback was I didn’t have any facecloths, and the room could have used a more thorough cleaning ( I.e., all baseboards were very dirty, window ledges) nothing that is a make or break but with all brand new renovations these items were very obvious. Overall, a nice boutique hotel with a more “homey” vibe. I really appreciated being assisted with my baggage upon check-in.

Great location, newly renovated and pet friendly! Reception was so warm and welcoming! She made sure that a hot plate was available so I could cook, and arranged an early check in. I had a ground level suite which opens up to a patio and fenced back yard that’s enclosed so my dog could hang outside without a worry he’d wander off. Such an excellent value stay!

It’s pretty much perfect tbh. I’d say if there were face cloths, perhaps a dish cloth and tea towel (used bathroom towels instead) and paper towel I’d have given it a perfect score! I’d definitely book again.
