Ive stayed at River rocks a few times now when i need a quick start for the airport or if ive arrived late after a flight. Its perfect. The skytrain is right on the door step. There are alot of airport branded hotels in the area and i stay at some of them for work and they are frankly appalling in comparison… super noisy, not as close to the airport, awkward locations, poor transport links, dated and run down… River rocks makes alot more sense everything is how you want it, easy links to Vancouver, Richmond and the airport. and price is very competitive for comparison. Staff are beyond lovely too.

They fixed the elevator which was my bug last time so no complaints at all, maybe more breakfast options could be nice

Received a free upgrade upon check-in to a penthouse suite. Was very pleasantly surprised with this. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well stocked and clean.

No microwave in the room, and no towels or anything near the bar sink and fridge. Would have been nice additions. As well, the batteries in the tv remote should be checked more often, ours were basically dead, so changing channels was challenging. Also, the free parkade was very far from the east tower, which I stayed in. So you have to either walk through the casino or outside to get to the parking lot. Valet is right at the front, which is nice, but can get expensive.

I would have liked to have a lighter breakfast but it seemed I had to order a full one at The buffet. I like a coffee and muffin first thing .

At The Buffet in the morning. 7:30 am. The waiter tried to squeeze the three sets of people, which is all that were in at that time in the restaurant for breakfast all in a close row as if we were together. One table were business men with lots of conversation to impart.l loud but that was their morning meeting. I asked to be sat a little further away. He obliged. I realise that made it easy for him to wait on us all as if we were together but it was much too close at tables all side by side in an empty restaurant.

We had booked 2 rooms as we were seeing our son and family off to Australia. They were only there one night and we stayed two. It was great that the staff put our rooms together at the end of the hallway where we had a little foyer that could be locked at night allowing us to put the toddler to bed and visit in the 2nd room. Rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Great pool and very close to the sky train. Also free parking was nice!

The place is a bit of a maze and the staircase up to the spa needs to be renovated. The carpet on the stairs is filthy. But, it didn't impact our stay really.

Although the hotel is not in the main tourist and shopping area it is adjacent to the Canada line Skytrain, just a short 3$ ride to Waterfront. When I arrived there was a mixup with my booking but the night staff sorted it out efficiently for me. The room was clean, the bed linen spotless and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and ample clean linen, hot water and basic toiletries provided. Only tried room service once but it was delivered at time requested and was well cooked. The hotel being adjacent to the Canada Line skytrain meant just a 2$ ride direct to the airport. Casino is adjacent to the hotel.

Nothing to complain about.

We loved the location as you can jump on the sky train and get anywhere down town or to the airport. If you have kids this hotel is awesome for them. Really enjoyed watching the planes land from the wharf view of the room. Kids loved it and it was always cool to see all the various types of planes. Starbucks in the hotel made it easy to grab a mid day pick me up coffee. The staff were wonderful, kind and really attentive. We did the buffet for one night and it was good but we much preferred the local restaurants and take out. It's pricey if you have kids that don't eat much. The pillows and main bed were comfy. The pull out couch bed was terrible and all you felt was the springs.

The pool was so busy and the smell there was strong chlorine. Cloudy water in the pool, cold I mean colder than any leisure pool we go to. Both times we were at the pool no pool towels available so we used room towels. The hotel concierge did get us clean towels after as they knew of the shortage. The pull out bed was a queen which is great but all springs and terrible for your back. They switched the coffee machines from Nespresso to Lavazo. Our machine didn't work at all and it wasn't intuitive to use. Bring back Nespresso machines they worked great last time we stayed.

I liked the location, the room and the pool.

We tried to reserve a table online ahead of time at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant but could not. We tried again in person shortly after we arrived and we were told it was completely booked. We passed the area several times later and there were very few tables occupied. Kind of curious to know why we couldn’t get in. Disappointed that we ended up walking to another restaurant in the area but did enjoy the one we chose.

Well-appointed suite, very clean, spacious, quite comfortable. Delicious food in all venues. Lovely pool/hot tub area (hot tub was comfortably hot). High quality amenities. Very kind, helpful staff who went above and beyond the call with front-desk support and local information. Excellent restaurant wait staff who couldn't be more kind. Close proximity to airport. Loved that the hotel had its own pedestrian ramp at the Bridgeport Sky Train station (wow!). Short Sky Train ride between YVR and River Rock's Sky Train Station (Bridgeport Station). As long as luggage is manageable, would definitely stay here on night before boarding a cruise ship as Sky Train Waterfront Station is right at the Cruise Terminal ($3.10 for one-way senior Sky Train ticket, 30-minute ride) -- practically door-to-door connection. Amazing!

Wish there were a couple of fine dining restaurants, but understand that the first of two is opening April 2024.

Easy access, good service. The room and bathroom size were good. Having the casino was good because we git to the hotel pretty late, but there was still one restaurabt open.

The shower wasn't clean good enough. There was an open package of shampoo or something on top of the dispensers in the shower. For the price that you pay, you would expect a better TV, only bad cable, no Netfkix or anything, no smart tv.

Rooms were quiet. Comfy beds.

How far the pool was located and the lack of proper gear provided by the hotel. We were not provided robes. Or sandals. The bathrooms weren’t great for changing. And there was a huge lack of towels. The pool is great and super fun, but did lack cleanliness, dirty towels sat in bins all day and built up. For such a large pool area. I think a pool employee is definitely needed frequently.
