It was a good size room and comfortable. The room had its own mini fridge and microwave which was good. The breakfast was basic but was great to have a coffee and something to eat before heading out. The location of the hotel is central and had lots of food places walking distance. I had rented a car and everything was roughly a 4 min drive from the hotel in Squamish.

I only learnt that you had to request housekeeping on my last day of staying. I eventually spotted a notice in the elevator and then found a piece of paper in the room. This wasn't something I was looking for so I think this info would be more helpful to be told to guests on check in. Having the lights on a single switch or better lighting would have improved the room. There were 5 different locations to turn on all the lighting for the room. The main room was lit with three lamps and not the brightest with all of them on. Not too big of a deal but just annoying having to turn them all on/off rather than them being on a single switch or have one main light in the room as well.

The pool was the main reason we stayed so it was very important that is was in working condition, clean, not too busy. The kids had an amazing time. The breakfast was always replenished and fresh. Continental, but the kids loved it. The other reason we chose to stay. Staff always available at the front desk. Room was cleaned nicely each day.

Quality of the mattress, pillows did not seem great, no movie/streaming options on the TV - we gave up on looking for something on cable and watched something on a laptop. Not the best location for walking - it's in an industrial area of Squamish. Did not like the requirement to ask for pool towels at the front desk or having to leave wet pool towels at the pool and instead wear clothing over suits to/from our room - made some of the few clothes we brought damp.

Our room was a beautiful suite with a separate queen bed and ensuite from the rest of the hotel room. It provided an extra bathroom that was great to have with 5 people in the room! Staff were very friendly. Parking is included! Breakfast had a great selection and great hours. The waterslide was a big hit with the kids, adults found the pool a bit cool but the hot tub made up for it. I'd love to visit in the summer when they open the big doors to the outdoor area!

More fresh fruit options for breakfast please.

The staff are excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The location was great for us and we liked that we could walk to Backcountry bar very quickly and downtown was a short bus ride or a 30 minute walk along tree lined paths.

We'd have liked some more savoury options at breakfast and for hours to be extended to 10am during weekdays.

The pool was nice, my daughter loved the slide. The double queen with sofa bed is quite spacious. Breakfast simple but adequate. Staff were very friendly. We walked in one night with takeaway and the receptionist noticed and offered us plates and cutlery

Our window didn’t open so no fresh air at night. I think perhaps ours was broken

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were upgraded and they gave us a late checkout. They also let us store our ski gear. The rooms were nice. The vending machines had great selection. The pool was lots of fun.

The breakfast was quite underwhelming. There were practically no hot foods; there was only cereal, fruit, bagels and muffins, etc. If we knew what would be served for breakfast, we probably would have planned to go elsewhere.

Easy to access from the main road with good parking. Easily within a short walk to plenty of eating options. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Good pool with fun options for kids but a good length for an adult to swim in.

Far too much single use plastic at breakfast and in the room.

Easy to find near the highway we were traveling on. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet even though it was close to a busy road. Ok for one night. Nice Breakfast saves time and is filling.

Software glitch between Booking.com and Sandman Hotels keeps charging me for more rooms than I booked? Other hotels I book thru Booking.com don't have the same difficulty.

I found all the staff we interacted with very helpful and easy to deal with. They were naturally friendly and helpful and didn’t seem put out by any request. The staff definitely are what make this stay great.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good sized room. We enjoyed the pool and the water slide.

The breakfast was a bit of a scramble, quite disorganised. The buffet table should be along a straight wall rather than a corner, it was extremely crowded. Also, when we were told a table was available, we went to sit at it and someone had already taken it, then when I saw a vacant one later on and went to claim it, I was told by staff if was for someone else. We ended up just taking it back to our room.
