December 2022

I really enjoyed my stay at the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel. The whole property and especially the room has a distinct winter chalet vibe to it that makes your whole stay very cosy especially if you happen to stay here during the Christmas season. Other things I liked: - Loved having a stove so I could make my own coffee whenever I wanted. - Fridge was very useful - Couch is perfectly positioned if you want to watch tv - Balcony is nice although more useful in summer I suppose - Bathroom was fairly spacious - Location is very central, you can't get more central than this - I loved the fact that the elevator does not have a card swipe thing which is particularly helpful if friends are visiting you so you don't have to go downstairs to meet them - There is a delicious restaurant attached to the hotel called Elements which does a great breakfast

- The television didn't seem to have a USB port or a chromecast port. It could very well have been there, but it is unreachable since the tv is mounted to the wall so you can't put your hand behind it - Internet could be very patch at times

Staff where very friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. Having a little kitchen to make our own food was great and the location of the hotel was also perfect as most of the things to do where in walking distance. Being able to park underneath the hotel was also a big plus for us.

We didn't like that the cover of the sheets on the bed consisted of 2 sepetate pieces of bedlinnen with the douvet in between. I move a lot in my sleep so I kept getting tangled up or losing part of my covers halfay through the night or sleeping under the douvet without the cover. It would be better if it was one douvet. I hope this makes sense it's difficult to explain. Other than that though, it was perfect :)

We had a very nice suite on the upper floor and loved the balcony and spent 6 nights. The room had a complementary i-Pad to use which my wife loved. The hotel is in walking distance for everything. Rented bikes at the hotel and the brunch restaurant located attached to the property was excellent. We were on a 2.5 week trip to four towns and this was the best value. Loved our stay!

Noise! I get it, the hotel is located centrally and gets a lot of traffic, no big deal and is to be expected. However, the large delivery truck and semis which would park and idle for quite awhile where always present and noisy start around 7 am. In Banff, there are restrictions on idling, and Whistler would serve its clients better if they were to go that direction.

The room was nice and spacious, even for our family of 4. The balcony is a bit small and very hot, with the air conditioner blowing right onto where you sit. The view of the back forest was very calm and relaxing, making it feel like we weren't centrally located in Whistler. The pool and patio area was very enjoyable, and we even had a BBQ dinner out there, with the BBQ available for guests to use.

The parking garage had a limited number of spaces and most of them were extremely small. We had a rental SUV and could barely squeeze into only one of the remaining spots, only after 3 of us directing the driver, being within an inch on each side (concrete pillar versus another car). It wasn't the best way to start our stay.

I stayed at this hotel with my family on a busy weekend. Because the hotel was at the edge of the Upper Village, it was nice and quiet which we appreciated. Walking to the Upper Village was easy enough and didn't take long. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room size was decent for a Whistler hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the sofa bed was not bad for what it was.

Parking garage was easy to locate although the spots were quite tight. A truck parked next to our vehicle; my husband had to climb over to the driver's seat from the passenger seat. It is not right at the heart of Supper Village; if you want to be close to restaurants and what not this might not be the best choice for you.

Great location in Whistler Village. Cool, trendy hotel with great staff, modern features, and a super comfy bed. Like the kitchenette convenience. Appreciate things like the candy counter in the afternoon. Appreciate the recommendation from the front desk to park in a nearby lot versus their super pricey lot under the hotel. The soap and shampoo were great as well. Pool and hot tub were nice but we never used them

Room was super small, bathroom even smaller. Queen bed barely fit, only one nightstand. Minimal room to lay out our suitcases. Water pressure weaker than desired.

We couldn't believe how lucky we were to have found this hotel. Relatively small, very friendly, spotlessly clean, amazing staff. Every member of the team worked really hard to make the stay special. The minibus driver's were fabulous and the regular service to the slopes made life so much easier. The cleaning and maintenance staff worked relentlessly to keep the hotel immaculate. Pool was quite small but there was plenty off opportunity to be in there alone. Great location. Quiet but very central. We've stayed in whistler before but this has been our favourite hotel. Don't miss out on elements restaurant. We tried it towards the end of the holiday and we were sorry we hadn't gone there before. Food was fantastic. Thank you!

Leaving the hotel. It was fantastic.

A wonderful stay in a great hotel in a great location. I appreciated the pet friendly aspect as I was traveling with my dog and there was no extra charge for him! The bed was very comfy and the room was well appointed. Housekeeping was excellent and I especially thought Iryna was great. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub and sauna were great. I had a massage at the spa which was very good.

Minor: water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the fan in the bathroom sounded like you were under attack 😯.

The location was great, just steps away from Whistler village and very close to Lost Lake. The room was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our Frenchie was also super welcome.

The parking is small and not guaranteed even if you pay. Late check in at 4 pm and very early check out at 11 am, not a minute later! When I called to ask if we could check out a bit later (happy to pay), I was told no right away, no alternatives or accommodations were offered, e.g., storage for things. No restaurant or food in the hotel if you wanted to have breakfast.

We booked a one-bedroom suite for a family travelling with two kids. The room was spacious and had a separate kitchen/dining. Bonus that washing/dryer were free to use, and the kids loved the pool/hot tub. Staff were super friendly, and as we stayed over Easter time, the hotel had activities for the kids including afternoon tea with hot chocolate, colouring competition and an Easter Egg hunt in the morning. It is located centrally, but just outside the main village, near a playground and away from the 'party area'.

Nothing- we booked almost a year in advance and got a really good rate.
