The hotel was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We wanted a room with a kitchen and the pictures on your site of the room we booked had a full size fridge and a cooking range with oven. So we packed food to take on our trip so we could prepare our own meals to save money on eating out. But when we checked in the room we booked was not available because of over booking. Or so we were told. So they gave us what they called an upgrade. But the room they gave us was a more expensive room but it had a very small bar fridge and a microwave. No utensils or dishes in the kitchen. Just empty cabinets. So we had to throw out the food we had because the fridge was big enough to hold it and we had no way to cook it. On top of that we had to spend a lot more money in order to eat while we were there. That we are very unhappy with.

Chelsea , the front desk manager, is great. Keep her and promo her. She answered ALL my questions within 3 minutes. She made me feel welcome, and not foreign/ new to town. The house keeper is helpful, also my room was very clean after her cleaning.

Yeah,,,, the hotel needs an update soon..... It is outdated. 1 ply toilet paper is a very very poor presentation. The TV reminds me teenage days 20years ago. Covid is over, open the restaurant please. You are maximizing profit right now. And I get it, it's business. but in business, you gotta lose some,, to make the guest experience a package a wholesome experience. I am here 2 days only, and I can see you are limiting everything / keeping everything to a minimum / doing the bare minimum , just to get a "pass"

Room was well appointed. Couch and chairs were in good shape Kitchen was stocked with sufficient supplies. Staff was friendly

The electrical outlets require replacing. The outlets are worn out. With the amount of devices used in today’s world plugs are a necessity. A better system for a mobility challenged person to gain access to the building should be investigated. Trying to enter though an old restaurant entrance with the door locked all the time is not convenient, having to find someone to unlock the door is not conducive to my enjoyment of the hotel chain.

The hotel is quite old but appears to be well maintained. Close to the airport. The room was spacious and very clean. The night manager we spoke to was friendly and pleasant. He agreed to get us a cab at a good rate for very early the next morning. He gave us a room on the main floor so we wouldn't have to carry our luggage too far.

The cost of a cab from the airport to the hotel was $42.00. A 7 minute drive. Apparently the airport sets flat rates that all cab companies have to follow. Not sure I believe that but highway robbery for sure.

The location is superb being close to several restaurants, stores and the Avalon Mall. The hotel is easily accessible. Staff are cordial and helpful. There are vending and ice machines provided. There is ample parking space.

The self-service washing machine was faulty for the entirety of my 2-weeks stay. Cleaning services can be improved. Some front desk staff are quite warm and helpful while others appear to be detached.

I liked the convenience of the hotel on Kenmount road.

The reception staff was very blunt when I told them about the nightmare using self check in and that despite messages via booking. Com those messages remain unanswered. Room 217 located right by door where on more than one occasion people were drinking and smoking weed till 1am. No restaurant on site however we found Cora's very lovely breakfast 😋

Nothing to criticize. The room was a very nice size. Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was great. Bathroom was clean and stocked with Dove products. Coffee and tea available in the room. Had a small fridge and microwave, desk and table 2 chairs and tv. Staff was friendly and responsive. Hotel lobby was clean and area was quiet. Will for sure book again in the future.

The room was well laid out and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet.

The TV channels were not HD. The room was nicely renovated compared with the hallways and the exterior of the hotel. The restaurant was closed to hotel guests. We were not informed that the hotel was being rented out to house new arrivals to Canada. Health care workers walking around the hotel with masks on. Security guards located at the reception.

Did not like first room we were given....basically in the basement....could not see out small window at the ceiling. Was immediately and politely given another room with a larger kitchen and proper windows. Staff at reception was always friendly, informative and helpful. Manager went out of her way to assist in getting me information for a purchase.

Comfortable bed, room temp good , no need for a/c (which as usual was noisy when I tried it) Quiet room. Staff very helpful.

There was no restaurant. Lobby has steps, not accessible. Anyone using a wheelchair or with other mobility issues has to get someone to open a side door. No safety rails in bathtub.
