Excellent, modern, clean hotel with comfortable beds & a great breakfast (Eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, hash, oatmeal, fruit and all the fixings etc). In-room kitchenette was well equipped with pots, pans, toaster etc. The pool and hot tub/spa was especially enjoyed by my kids as the pool room is always warm and nice. The staff was superb!! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. They went above and beyond. Kudos to the cleaning staff! The freshly baked cookies everyday from 3pm, were just to-die-for. Free parking, designated smoking areas outside. Nice outdoor patio area with seating & bbq grill available for use. Multiple large washrooms near the pool area, and ice machines are also available. Gym is modern and well equipped. Can walk across the street to Tanger outlet where there are lots of restaurants and stores. Will definitely return with My family.

A new hotel located right across the large Tanger shopping center. The hotel staff is very kind, and they responded positively to all our requests. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, and very pleasant for a stay of several nights. The hotel also offers the option of doing laundry for a nominal fee - which is very convenient for those who come to Canada for a long stay.

Every morning there were some suspicious people walking around the lobby and the dining room, smelling very bad of cigarettes, which it is not clear what they are doing there. It is very unpleasant, especially when you want to sit quietly and eat your breakfast

Everything from booking, to check-in, to the stay was wonderful. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Everyone was very helpful during our long stay - we were there for the World Junior's. The hotel is right across the highway from the Canadian Tire Centre so it's great for any hockey games or concerts happening there! Bigger than average mini-fridge in the room was lovely since we brought some of our own food/drinks!

Great location, was the 2nd nite here, was having work done on my home. The staff were very good and friendly at check in. One issue though, on the 30th, when checking out, I was later for breakfast ( arrived after 9am) and the lady was just clearing away the breads, etc. she refused to leave a few slices and simply reminded me that it was after 9am. Luckily I remembered a very nice man @ front desk( probably a manager), and asked him if he could get me a boiled egg and yogurt, which were locked. He did immediately, without reprimand or questions. So he saved the day! Maybe others could learn to be more flexible. Other than that , nice hotel. Thanks!

Service and intolerance of lady taking away the breakfast because I was later than 9am ( I arrived about 9:20am), and she was incapable of legibility…

The Hotel was modern and very clean. The staff was wonderfully pleasant and helpful! The TV was huge, and accepted our fire stick without trouble. The pool was very clean and the chlorine level was okay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows was nice and firm. We asked for extra blankets and that wasn’t a problem! There were free cookies and breakfast was wonderful. It was a really nice stay.

The pool area was very hot and stuffy. The pool towels were small. There wasn’t a zipper mattress protector on the bed.

rooms are smaller than average for 2 queen bed room. They gym is poorly maintained - both treadmills were out of order the whole week I was there, the one stationary bike faces a wall and is RIGHT behind the eliptical so you have someone at your back that you can't see, creepy layout! Never any water in the gym and only a couple of towels.

We stayed at Microtel to attend a Concert at the Canadian Tire Center so the location was perfect for that. The staff at check in which was late at night was super friendly and accommodating.the Hotel was at Full capacity as per the concert that evening so without request, we stayed in a wheelchair accessible room. This is an amazing option for those traveling and may need that option. The room was very spacious with wide doors and hallway. The bathroom was amazingly spacious . The hotel was beautiful and our room still had the brand new smell to it. It was immaculately clean. Directly across the street from the outlet shopping center as well. There is a complimentary breakfast for guests which was also lovely. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Good location convenient to shopping and restaurants. Clean and semi comfortable with a very good self serve hot breakfast included. Excellent value and price point for the budget minded. Would recommend and stay again.

Room was a little tight on living space with only one chair available relying on a window bench seat for additional seating making it not as comfortable for travelling with family. More provision for luggage/clothing and personal items should be considered.

Everything from the customer service to the room itself were perfect

The only thing I didn't like and it's not a fault of the staff or the room itself. I was getting into the elevator last evening and for some reason the door shut quickly as it's supposed to do but it happened as I was stepping through it and it smashed into my right side. This was around 11:45 p.m. When I was getting into the elevator with my son and two other people that we didn't know.

Very smart, clean and comfortable room with excellent facilities. We self-catered well, although the bar opened whilst we were staying and offered nice food. Breakfast was great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It was convenient for us to drive into Ottowa, although parking can be tricky.

There wasn't a dedicated light over the sink and hob, but it wasn't that bad.
