The building was really quiet - probably because it's summer and there aren't many people in student residence. The bathroom was very recently renovated and very clean with modern fixtures. The check-in process was very simple with a 'secret code' to get into the lock box and our room key in an envelope. We didn't have to wait for anyone to be free, nor did we require any assistance as the directions were very clear. We were given contact information if we needed any assistance - I can't say how prompt it would have been but, given the rest of the transaction, I imagine it would have been smooth.

Minor detail - there was no full length mirror in the room and no privacy or frosting on the window. Not usually an issue but we were on the inside of a student residence that looks out on a central courtyard and all the other rooms with large, low windows. We couldn't open our curtains for the morning sun or the evening stars as there were many other windows looking in and down at ours.

The location was great near a T&T grocery store, and relatively easy access to the GO bus at Waterloo station or Grand River Transit anywhere in the KWC. Also, the rooms were way nicer than I expected, although a bit scruffed up.

There was no creamer or milk in the fridge for the coffee. Also, found a bit of hair, but I am not going to really fault for that. Also, when coming from mass transit across the U of Waterloo campus, it is a bit hard to find the front entrance.

The location served my purpose perfectly (one of the children attending the summer program and I was participating in one of the activities) inside University of Waterloo

Almost perfect. However, there was only a coffee maker in the room and I don’t drink coffee; I drink hot tea. It would have been much easier for me if there was a kettle to boil water rather than a drip coffee maker.

The location was on one of the best University campuses in Ontario, maybe Canada. The wi-fi was worked in mostly all buildings across the campus. There was plenty of nooks to sit and lounge or study, sip coffee and relax or get things done. Each building complex was unique to its discipline. A small lake and conservation area was within walking distance but there were bicycle trails everywhere.

I wish there was a kettle to boil water. There was only a capsule coffee maker. However there was meals offered for extra money so likely eating was intended to be done in a cafeteria. And there were plenty of coffee shops on campus but closed by 7pm. Also the central air conditioning made a squeal across the fan grill. It really stood out in such an otherwise quiet place.

Convenient location. Hotel like decor and own private bathroom. Not like a dorm at all. Beautiful trails and grounds. Quiet. After hours response is very quick and courteous. Self service and email info to get keys in locked box was easy to follow

Toilet seat moved when sitting on it. TV resolution was poor. Device on ceiling (maybe Wi-Fi modem?) was askew and can see wire and gap.

I was surprised about the quality of the room. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. I was not expecting this from a college room! Will book again.

The check in was sooo confusing (after 5pm). But at least they leave a number on the door you can call. Also a bit overpriced compared to other hotels around.

Breakfast was good but if you wanted a hot breakfast you had to wait until 10am. (On weekends). The cold breakfast had lots of fruit and yoghurt, coffee, toast and was reasonably priced.

Limited space to hang clothes- no closet. Also the room was too small to accommodate a couch or chair other than one at the desk. Other than that all was good.

The breakfast was great, I think the cafeteria style works best for breakfasts and less so for other meals.

The main entrance was a little hidden from the roadway as I came in and I actually ended up at the wrong entrance however I called the number given and was quickly redirected to the proper entrance. The Main Entrance is well marked as such and I should have looked for it.

It was clean, quite, accessible for public transportation, also only 10 min walking crossing the university campus to get FlixBus to travel to Toronto. Affordable price.

It was weird to cross class rooms to get the guest area but it was ok because this is not a hotel this is part of the University.

Clean, comfortable, affordable, close to university. The few staff (cleaner) and studentsthat were there were very nice

The digital check in and no front desk staff at 1800h. If another guest had not been there I would not have figured it out. But there was a number to call…. I know for next time though.
