We loved the location, the porch was a nice hang out spot. The breakfast offered were very nice and delicious. The rooms were very spacious and the entire home was well maintained.

One minor concern was that at check-in (around 8 pm), we were greeted by a staff person who had almost no English ability (he had to use a translation app to communicate). We had been traveling all day and were tired so this was a bit inconvenient. This same staff person was smiling the whole time and did his very best I’m sure. It would have been better if the Inn had someone English speaking contact me in advance with all needed instructions (entry code, room #, breakfast time, etc). I attempted to reach the ph # listed 3 times prior to arrival (had to leave messages only).

The building itself has so much character and is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything was great, from check-in, the comfy bed, the large room, the spa bath and great shower, the fridge in the room, the TV with Netflix already set up with a guest account, the great breakfasts... I could go on with all the other great little details but you can find them out for yourself. The owners are lovely people who gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit PEI.

The only minor issue was the king room with spa bath is right next to the kitchen and dining room, so we could hear the prep for breakfast at around 7:30am. We are early risers anyway but if you like to sleep in, I'd recommend bringing earplugs.

The breakfasts were delicious, fresh fruit every morning and we were always offered a choice of omelettes, scrambled eggs, french toast, egg in a basket, french sandwich. Variety of breads, yogurt, juices. Linen was spotless, towels changed every day. Coffee and tea as well as bottled water brought in every day. Staff was friendly and courteous very helpful with suggestions of attractions to visit.

The parking was a bit tight when fully booked. The iron and board were a bit difficult to access.

A building conceived in 1894 by a wealthy banker with several queen and king sized rooms. The rating of 9.0+ is certainly no joke. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, with wonderful spa tubs in the bathrooms. Located downtown Charlottetown it is easy to locate and close to all restaurants and pubs. A gorgeous walk through the town and on to the waterfront is relaxing and beautiful. WiFi was perfect and you could come and go as you please with entry at any time of day. If you were looking to stay in a quiet bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds you've ever slept in than look no further.

Location, size of room, size of beds, size of bathroom, were all awesome.

we’re used to having face cloths, but when I asked, they have none. there were no extra rolls of bathroom tissue, we had to ask for one. The room is lacking in mirrors, especially a full length mirror. Breakfast was ok… no options given, tho on speaking to another couple they were offered a “Chinese” breakfast… yogurts were on the buffet, not on ice and not sure how long they’d been out every day accumulatively… other offerings available were just like you could get at a chain hotel breakfast. Had fresh fruit, very basic omelette and bacon served to us. Would like to have coffee maker in room.

Fantastic location, would definitely stay at this inn again. Close to main streets, but also close to Victoria Park boardwalk. Room was as advertised and very clean, bed was very comfortable. Nice veranda as well for sitting outside. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive.

Small changes would improve the breakfast experience - salt and pepper shakers at each table, use of island jams instead of Kraft, water jug in hallway wasn't always full. Sometimes it could be a little noisy, I could hear the tv from next door.

The Inn was spotless. Our room was very nice and comfortable - and huge. It was on the first floor and I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't. We always want stay within easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs and the Grafton met that. It was a couple blocks through nice neighborhoods to reach everything. The area was quiet and surrounded by several other nice properties. The staff were really nice. When we were leaving, we mentioned that we hadn't known that they had served breakfast (we are late risers) and they were eager to offer to make us something right then and even though we didn't ask for any, brought out fruit and some pastries while we were having a cup of coffee for the road. The "What I didn't like" below is not a reflection on them but things that we mentioned to them on checking out. I think they sincerely appreciated the feedback.

The Inn had recently changed hands and the new owners were very accommodating and pleasant but had not quite worked out some of the communications with guests. It was small things like some information regarding what was available for breakfast and when it was available; what the time was for check-out and what the process was for coming in later in the evening. There was no channel guide or information on how to find news or weather on the TV. Netflix and streaming channels were easily accessible but we weren't interested in watching movies. Check-in was difficult with no one at the reception area. However, none of these issues would keep us from returning.

Andy and the staff was very helpful. We were late driving from Bar Harbor (Midnight) and Andy waited for us to let us in. He even helped me bring luggage up to my room. In the morning, they serve you breakfast made to order. It was good and consisted of fresh fruit to begin with. A nice surprise was that they served a hot Wonton noodle soup with a side of shrimp dumplings. It was so good, we had it every morning. The facilities were nice and clean and very comfortable.

That our stay was only a few days.

Very very very hospitable family who went the extra mile for us. Bought new pillows because we're allergic to feathers. Remembered that we like herbal tea before bedtime. A welcoming note and a bar of chocolate warmed the cockles of my heart. Sumptous breakfast. What's more important is the story of their journey settling down in welcoming Canada. Talk to them and they'll gladly share their stories. Highly recommended if you're staying in beautiful Charlottetown. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We're sincerely touched by your kindness and generosity.

Nothing at all!

The location was amazing, we were a 5min walk from Queen St. and all the restaurants / Confederation museum and other points of interest. The hosts/staff were very kind and the room was clean. The breakfast was nice: you get fruit, a sweet (cinnamon bun, lemon square, etc), occasionally a Chinese "pancake" and then something with eggs (omelet, croque monsieur, etc) and bacon (or bacon wrapped asparagus which was very good). There is also cereal and some other food.

Things that could be improved would be: - The bed, which is the case for 99% of hotels/B&Bs, was soft - I prefer firmer beds. - Have breakfast start earlier, at least during the week. It wasn't really an issue for us, but on the day we left it would have been nice to be able to have breakfast before 8am.
