As an avid traveler who has journeyed through dozens of countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, I find it a pleasure to recount my experience at the Bad and Breakfast Hotel Montreal. The authenticity of the photos and descriptions across booking platforms and social media is commendable; they genuinely reflect the hotel's offerings without exaggeration. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an impeccable level of cleanliness that could rival any five-star establishment. The hotel exudes a remarkable sense of home comfort, providing a warm sanctuary against the biting Montreal winter. The breakfast served is not only heartwarming but also tantalizingly delicious, making each morning a culinary delight. However, the true essence of this establishment is embodied by Philippe, Nicolas, Darren, and Sylvain. Their combined efforts, brimming with sincerity, tactfulness, and intelligence, weave a fabric of genuine homey comfort that envelops you, particularly on those frosty Montreal days. Their ability to make guests feel at home is an art that they have mastered exquisitely. In retrospect, my only twinge of regret is not capturing a moment with this remarkable team in a photograph. Their spirit and warmth are what truly set the Bad and Breakfast Hotel Montreal apart, leaving lasting impressions that beckon for a return visit.

I had never been to a place like this one. It was like staying in a multigenerational home. The owners are absolutely awesome - super nice, helpful, just amiable. They try to meet client's requests, I felt fully taken care of. The room was nice and clean. Not extremely spacious but big enough for me. The bed was vast and comfortable. Breakfasts were the highlights of the day. Everything was being prepared on the spot by the owners with whom we had a nice chat. You might as well feel as if you were at your grandma's home.
I would prefer a showerhead on a shower hose rather than a "fixed" one. But that was no big deal.

This place was great. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Though a bed and breakfast with common areas, we had a private bath and felt that privacy was respected and its nice (if you like) to get the socialization and learn about the city from the other guests at the included ample breakfast served every morning between 8am-10am.
I can't really think of anything but compliments to say here. The room was modern, updated and immaculate. There was a TV, separate a/c split in the room, hair dryer and if it wasn't in the room, it was in the common area (for example, iron and ironing board and refrigerator located in common area).

We stayed at Bed and Breakfast du Village BBV for one night only but the experience was nothing short of excellent. The location of property is in the heart of the Gay Village with access to a wide selection of restaurants and bars. The Metro station is just a couple of blocks away. The room was spotless and the hosts are just amazing. They are is very respectful and very social while ensuring that they provide you with the space and privacy you need. We arrived at around 8 PM for check-in and seeing the table already set-up with plates, napkins, cups, etc. for the breakfast was a warm welcome to us - much like how feel arriving at your own home. The breakfast itself was one of the highlights. What a wide variety of options to choose from! They even allowed us to park our car a few hours after the check-out time while we were exploring the city on foot. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean and centrally located accommodation in Montreal.
No negatives. I would only mention that it is pricier than typical Bed&Breakfast options but the quality of the service they provide is above average too.

In an energetic constantly moving metropolis like Montreal this BNB is your ultimate chill vibe/quiet place right off the beaten path. The love the owners, not staff but owners put into the hospitality, attention, comfort feng shui towards their property, their guest, and their farm to table scatch breakfasts is next level. Unintentionally skipped lunch every day I stayed there because of how plentiful breakfast was. Astonishingly quiet, luxury comfort bed and pillows. Standing ovation to BbB Breakfast du Village BBV! Will be back P.S. the digital checkin and digital door pad make life so much easier

The breakfast is prepared with so much love and you can taste it. The room was spacious, clean with the perfect sheets to collapse in after a day of sightseeing.
The location was well communicated but is located alongside a street that has visibly had problems with drug use for a while as I read after my stay. It's plain to see when you walk down the street during the day and at night that Montreal also has a lot of residents that are struggling with finding accommodation, mental health, addiction etc.. That being said, I never felt unsafe during my stay.

I am a well travelled person who works in the tourism industry and this is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. The room and property were incredibly clean and very welcoming. Sylvain is the person I met, and of course, he was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was beyond any expectations, fresh eggs, bacon, so many kinds of fruit, and many homemade jams etc. Truly don’t hesitate for a second if you are considering this accommodation. Great location too, easy to access anywhere in the city with two metro stations within short walking distance.
Nothing. Don’t ever change!

The hostesses were extremely friendly and accommodating from the beginning to end. They really made our short stay most enjoyable. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable, which I really appreciated it. The breakfast was exceptional. Phillip pampered us with a delicious homemade early meal that included homebaked pastries and their very own Greek yogurt, a variety of fresh fruit, and so much more. We also liked the up and coming neighborhood feel.
We were surprised by several homeless people just 1/2 block down the street.

A little comfortable gem in the middle of the village. The place may not be modern and may have its rough edges, but the quality of the service and services provided more than make up for it! The interaction with the owners is personable and genuine, especially Sylvain who prepares the most amazing breakfasts and serves a warm croissant with a warmer smile :)

BBV really exceeded my expectations. It was a cold weekend in Montreal, but the B&B is like a warm, comfortable paradise. The ambience was outstanding, from the furnishings, the bed, the consistently clean shared bathroom, and the pleasant scent inside the room. The hosts I met were also really nice. One of them noticed I was working in the common area, then came to greet and had a small chat. Overall a very enjoyable experience!
The breakfast choices were quite limited, but I guess that's what you could make at home.
