The location was absolutely fantastic and the person working at reception was wonderful with good advice as to tourist attractions and restaurants in the area within our price range.

The location was absolutely fantastic; however, the price paid did not align with similar hotels in that area that I've previously stayed at. When booking I had assumed that because it was a pricier hotel it would be a fancier hotel but it was not. It was just a simple hotel room with nothing special. There was a very awkward building support column directly on the right side of the bed so if you got out of bed on the right side you would bump into it – very odd.

It is clean. The bed is comfortable. The hotel provides all necessary toilette items. Location is good. The metro is right across the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There is no parking at the hotel. We were directed to a parking lot with in and out previlege which was perfect for us. However, later on, we found out we could not get to it because of road closure. I think the hotel should have updated information for the clients. There was another issue of PR. There was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night, around 3am. All guests were evacuated. We stood outside of the hotel for an hour, waiting for the firefighters to confirm that it was safe to go back in. It was no fun standing outside in the unseasonably cold weather. It would be nice to get an apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience and discomfort by the hotel, although the false alarm was unintentional.

The front desk guy was very nice . Nice and rustic place. Super clean room . Kinda tiny but clean. Good location, close to pretty much all the places you want to see in Montreal.

While I was showering 😂 the fire alarm went off 😂 I was naked, wet almost getting ready to run 🏃 and than I realised it was only in my room. So , because of the steam coming out of the shower the fire alarm kicked off . It’s not a complaint actually, it’s just a suggestion to that thing fixed for the next guests .

When I first checked into my room there was a smell of what I thought might be cigarette smoke in the bathroom. I didn't want to get accused of and charged for smoking in a non-smoking room so I went down to the reception to report the smell. I was clear that I didn't expect anything to be done about the problem. I just wanted them to know about it. Nonetheless, the concierge upgraded my room to a much larger one without any odor. I thought that was pretty good customer service.

Just be careful in the shower. The hot water is scalding and the cold water is quite cold. Both are controlled with separate levers, and getting the right blend is tricky.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. I cannot understand the negative reviews at all. To get a room of this quality in such a central location for such a price is unheard of, not just in Montreal but in any North American city. The staff were very friendly and the room was cozy and very quiet. Close to everything. Didn't feel generic, had a certain unique feel. It's true the immediate neighborhood is a bit down-at-heel (but NOT dangerous) and that there are several other kind of run-down looking hotels nearby to this one but do not let that cloud your judgment of this particular hotel, which is a true gem.

We arrived early and the hotel stored our belongings and notified us when a room was ready earlier than check in. The front desk clerk told us about the metro’s free day and showed us how to navigate. The metro and bus to airport were right across the street.

The television’s use of system was very difficult to navigate and we could only access a couple of channels.

Staff were very friendly. Room was compact and included all my main requirements. Bathroom/shower was good. Lift was efficient. Very good location for my requirements.

No breakfast, but that was expected. Some noise from people in the street late at night, but only minimal disturbance.

When i arrived i was told that the room i thought i booked was not available because on the website it says there are spa tubs in the room but at the hotel not all those rooms have the tub so it depends on availability. i was pretty upset because when i booked it i wanted a spa room and booked the room that said it came with one. unfortunately this was an error on the website. however the lady working managed to upgrade me to a better room so that i would be able to have a jacuzzi! i was so happy and it was very thoughtful of her to go out of her way when she did not have too. she also recommended and gave directions to the best breakfast place ive ever been to!

The room was super clean. The staff was friendly and nice. The Wi-Fi was good. The bathroom is clean. there was a coffee maker in the room. small fridge in room. you have to bring something with you for breakfast and put it in the fridge. there is no breakfast there.

There is no breakfast. There is a sign when you walk in there is no breakfast, it is in English and in French. there is no restaurant at this Hotel.

The location was perfect - across the street from a central Metro station. The room was comfortable and clean.

The coffee/tea machine was there, but there was only Earl grey tea and no coffee, so I didn't use it. The TV only had a remote for the box, but not the TV.
