I always stay at Hyatts everywhere i go, the experience in this one was lower and the hotel was a okay compared to the other hyatts around the world that are about the same price. Would not recomend this exact one.

When it says downtown you would think you are close to the momre touristic places but you learn that everything is more than a 10 min walk. Eventhough the metro is a block away and really easy to use. Also the is a park for homeless people infront so its not a great view when you go outside.

I loved the location of the hotel, it was centrally located and even within walking distance to many of Montreal's attractions like old Montreal (there's even a supermarket easily accessible via the hotel lobby so you don't have to go outdoors for groceries) and the Metro is literally a little less than a block away (at the corner of small park in front of hotel). Also, my wife and I have high praise for the front desk and hotel staff for their amazing hospitality and professionalism! We felt more like family and friends more than guests! Special mention of Yazmine, Carolina, Simon and Noor from the front desk! They are Awesome and a great asset to Hyatt Place Montreal! Our room was clean, beautiful and had a great view of the city scape. Anytime during our 12 day stay we needed extra linens or toiletries the maid on our floor was very attentive! (Shout out to Aminata-she was fantastic) All in all, we will definitely come back to Montreal in the near future and a big part of that is because of our experience at Hyatt Place,so we absolutely will stay at Hyatt Place again and we're telling everyone we know back here in NYC about our amazing stay in Montreal at Hyatt Place!;👍🏾

Our only 2 critiques would be that the hotel should seriously think about having an on property laundry room for guests, because we had to take our clothes 2 blocks up from the hotel to a local laundromat to get them washed. Also a microwave in the guests room would be an added plus!

Neat rooms, breakfast was decent but could be nice if they can add some more varieties. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good, parking is 26$ per night but can go in and out and can park until 6 after checkout too which was helpful. Got room with city view and it was good. Overall good hotel and one of the very less number of hotels which offer free breakfast in downtown which was helpful.

My room had a small issue with Bathroom door but its not like not-functional just that it was hard to close. I didnt inform it but when I checkedout, I was told if informed they would have fixed it. Breakfast area is very busy but they had enough tables and space to sit and eat. Would be nice if they can add some more items to breakfast.

I’m not a coffee drinker - in fact, I’m coffee intolerant so I carry teabags with me whenever I’m away. Sadly, there was only a Nespresso machine in the room. Admittedly I could have used it to get hot water, but I was afraid of cross contamination. I managed. I simply ran hot water through it 2 or 3 times before I made a tea. A kettle in addition to this would have been good. Everything else was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We didn’t get to try breakfast during our stay due to unionised staff industrial action. We were reimbursed for this inconvenience but not to the full amount of breakfasts outside the hotel.

This hotel is centrally located near Old Montreal, the waterfront, Gay Village and downtown. It's in excellent condition and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast featured a variety of items and was of good quality. Parking was also very easily at a competitive daily rate. This is an excellent place to stay!

We thought that the coffee at breakfast was not so good, however that could be easily remedied by going into the Starbucks that was inside the lobby. There are also a number of homeless people nearby. Other than that, there were no other complaints

Everything was great. Location was superb. Right in the action and easy to Uber out to anywhere in the city. Great room 1918 with superb view. Wow. Cleaning was superb. Didn’t think we would be cleaned everyday but we were. The pool, gym and sauna were all a bonus, would like a changing area though as I came down and started the gym and as I came into pool thought there would be somewhere to change and store my phone, locker etc. Not a big deal as it was deserted but yeah, maybe a small changing area even a cabin or something. There was no breakfast due to union strike but was explained well and it didn’t affect our stay. Lovely staff. Great place and also - if you walk towards Starbucks ( inside the lobby) there is a massive mall with loads of food options. lol we discovered this on the last day. Haha. Oh well

Nothing. All great - oh aircon packed in but they came with a fan and was last night so no bother really.

Very clean hotel/room and staff were helpful & friendly. Nice, bright, modern. Big pool, very clean, lots of pool towels available, good sized sauna. Breakfast was good, decent selection and was tasty. We had a room on 17th floor which had a nice city view

Parking was a nightmare. The underground lot on site can only fit cans less than 5’7” (so no SUVs, trucks, etc). Offsite parking is hard to find, no in/out privileges and the very short walk back to the hotel is through a park with a lot of homeless people (scary for my kid at night). You have to clear your dishes at breakfast, including scraping them clean. I don’t mind tidying up after myself, but this was not a cheap stay so I wasn’t too impressed. We also had trouble with our key cards and there was no shower gel in our shower (minor issues).

I really liked the facilities and furnishings here. The room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of power sockets. The layout was great, providing enough space for our packages and luggage. The bathroom was clean, and the room was spacious. Overall, we had a great experience! The added bonus was the swimming pool and sauna

The location wasn’t as convenient as I expected. There’s a subway/train connection through a nearby mall, but the mall closes early, so I still had to walk outside to get back to the hotel. It’s a good location, but not as straightforward. Also, there were a lot of people in Montreal during our stay, so the hotel was pretty crowded and not very quiet

Breakfast was exceptional with great selections available , and a very inviting dining room with large windows to enjoy the view while eating. Staff were extremely efficient ensuring dish stations were clean of used dishes at all times. Coffee carafes were refilled on a regular basis. Great pool and sauna which we thoroughly enjoyed. Will recommend this hotel and will book This hotel on a future visit. Also loved location to the metro. Merci beaucoup

Excellent location. Everything was so close from here, and the train station and bus stop too. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and clean. We got a 25th floor room with a great view which we didn’t expect. So, that was a pleasant surprise for us.

There’s live music concert place right next to the hotel and we could hear the music from there in our room at 10:45 pm on Friday when I was trying to sleep. Not really a big deal for me, but could be bothersome for some. I don’t know if it ended at 11 or if it was there for longer.
