Exceptional cleanliness in the room. Hotel staff very kind. The Metro station ( Sherbrooke) is about 10 minutes from the hotel. The main attractions are quite far away if you walk.

The furniture is old. The doors were all creaking. The bed, although comfortable, made noises with any movement. The room I received was facing inland, it was not a pleasant landscape.Very poor breakfast. We stayed 5 nights and had the same breakfast every day. Maybe because we are Europeans, we prefer a breakfast that also contains - bacon, ham, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, cottage cheese, cheese. Unfortunately, there were only boiled eggs with a piece of butter, the rest only sweets, croissants, cereals.

The hotel is lovely. The ambience, the rooms… it’s beautiful and cozy, and impeccably clean. I liked the breakfast that had a variety of breads, jams, and others. And the location was perfect to walk to the attractions I wanted to visit. But the most pleasant thing of all was the staff. They are so nice and helpful, they make you feel at home. I would love to come back to the Manoir, thank you for a lovely stay!

The staff really went above and beyond, super nice and super friendly, provided us with very useful advice regarding inexpensive parking as well as where to buy what we needed. The breakfast was very tasty, a wide choice of pastry, which was fresh and crispy. There was no ham nor veggies, which is something we typically eat for breakfast, but crispy croissants with PB&J made up for it. The staff made us feel welcome and provided us with adapters as the ones we'd brought didn't fit. Overall very pleasant stay which hugely contributed to our satisfaction with our holiday in Canada.

I loved everything about this hotel. It is a convenient location to St Laurent BLVD, several bus stops, the metro. The breakfast was very good with pastries and protein and traditional Quebec foods. The beds were very comfortable, pillows were fantastic. What really took the cake for me though were the staff. This hotel employs some of the most kind, lovely, helpful people in all of Montreal. They really go above and beyond and after my 6 nights stay, I left feeling like family. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the hotel is also very quiet, which is really nice.

There is no individual temperature control in your room as the heating is central (this is a very old building, which is part of the charm), so in winter it can be quite warm inside (for me, but i like a cold room). This was manageable for me as i had packed shorts and I opened my window at night and it did not affect my stay really at all.

This is not a big hotel however it has provided a complete necessity such as decent towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash gel, lotion, hair dryer, really delicious breakfast. Bed and pillows are comfortable, hotel arrangements are beautiful. This is the 7th hotel that I booked throughout my stay in Canada but some hotels with big names are just below average compared to Manoir Sherbrooke's facility and hospitality. I really like their breakfast, simple but very delicious, not everything is processed food. The lady at the breakfast is very friendly. She told me the romantic beautiful history of how this antique property turned out into a hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, not to mention the price is cheaper compared to other properties with good rating like this.

Not really, probably just a little long walk to the center but that's fine.

Excellent location in a neighborhood full of students from the University nearby, with lively restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was served in the mansion's cozy salon with lovely woodwork and a grand fireplace. Good bread-pastry selection Large-sized rooms with tall ceilings and large bathrooms. Ours had a large corner bathtub. The ladies at the breakfast room were lovely as were the people at the Reception Desk.

Our room had no nightstand, or the night stand was not next to the bed. The hotel is not suitable for handicapped people or people with difficulty going up one or more flight of stairs.

The hotel looked great on arrival and staff very friendly/welcoming. The hotel was very nice in general, but we felt the beds were not a great size. However comfortable enough for 1 night stay. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast. The hotel was comfortable and secure as a whole. Good location to Montreal centre too.

Parking was not great, you could only park in 2-3 bays across the road and had to pay a lot per hour. So I parked at a parking garage 10 minute walk. Beds were not a luxury size for what is advertised as a luxury hotel.Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast. Not a lot of options/variety.

This is a charming building from around 1860. The staff is exceptionally nice and supportive, the location is very good. The rooms facing the street are a bit loud, but there are always earplugs ;-) I had the room with (private) bathroom and WC a few meters down the hall, and that room was very small indeed; hard to find space for your open suitcase. And yet, there was a general feeling of love and care, so, for two nights of stay it was am altogether nice experience. The big, charming breakfast room downstairs is available for guests with tea, coffee and cookies during the whole day, which is a pleasant asset.

There is no elevator, so, if you have a heavy suitcase and live two floors up from the ground floor, keep that in mind. Also: perhaps the quality of the coffee could be improved.

We liked the style and the history of the hotel. The breakfast on site was really good. The staff were happy to converse in English and helpful. The location was good for walking into the old town, downtown and near the Metro for longer journeys .

We were in a room that was on the second floor. 37 steps with no lift. We were located in a room overlooking the main Sherbrooke road and the traffic noise was quite loud especially the emergency sirens. Our particular room was quite small, but adequate . The recommended car parking was a ten minute walk away and not easy to navigate in the dark.

Lovely old fashioned charm. WONDERFUL croissants. The breakfast was adequate, although I'm not a fan of hard boiled eggs. The yogurt and toppings were very good. I appreciated having a good cup or DECAFE coffee in Canada. I used to be able to get only Sanka. The young lady at the reception desk (Saturday and Sunday nights) was a DELIGHT. She was very helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed having a little conversation with her about Montreal specifically and life in general. I hope you let her know that we truly enjoyed meeting her.

We're seniors and I have balance issues. A grab bar in the tub could be good for anyone to have, plus having something on the bottom of the tub to help prevent slipping in the shower would be good. The stairs are risky to maneuver while carrying luggage around the bend. I'm not sure what you could do about that other than having guests be sure to reserve early to get a first floor room or be sure to have assistance. The young man did carry our bags upstairs when we arrived but we didn't ask for help coming down when we left. That was our own fault, but we're basically determined to be independent. We were able to get a parking space but having more available closer could be helpful in the future.
