Clean, comfortable, silent rooms. Position is excellent w.r.t. old city center of Santiago (which however is not the best spot where to stay in Santiago, I have to admit). Coffee machine (with recyclable/rechargable capsules) and microwave free to use in the room is a plus.

Poor WiFi connection, had to ask for a portable router, still kind of slow. Breakfast choices and quality are inadequate to the price paid. Also, breakfast service should start earlier in the morning (8am on Saturdays and Sundays is definitely too late). Staff can be improved (both in their communication and service skills).

Modern design with very helpful front desk staff. The breakfast was individually prepared, so no basic buffet. Good quality with ample portions. The bed was big and comfortable, and I had a little balcony to let in some sunlight. The location was perfect - very close to everything including the trendy bars and restaurants in Lastaria. The subway was just a couple blocks away, as was the Bellas Artes museum. Overall excellent experience.

There's no gym and the pool that was open is not heated. No real amenities outside of the solid breakfast. The room doors were a little funny and did not shut automatically. My bathroom door was poorly fitted and screeched across the floor each time I opened it. Generally minor concerns but gaps for a nicer hotel that's a little more expensive than the average room.

We liked everything about Hotel Ismael, from the location to the ambience, especially the friendliness and attitudes of the staff. Because we were unfamiliar with the city and the location as well as things to do, we asked a lot of questions and were given great advice about getting around the city, restaurants, wines and general information. Breakfast was delightful, and we were able to gather with friends for wine and aperitifs in the afternoon, with full attention of the bar and lounge staff. It was a wonderful experience. We only discovered the rooftop pool on our last day and sadly, did not have a chance to take advantage of it. But we could not have asked for a better experience!

There was nothing we did not like, and I have recommended the hotel to several friends who plan trips to Santiago.

The location was superb -- right on the park, with a great dining/entertainment area and the Museum of Fine Arts nearby, and within easy walking distance to other great neighborhoods. Security was reassuring: a doorman or your room key unlocked front and rear doors, and your key runs the elevator. Loved the hotel design inside and out; rooms and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was properly prepared, with something for everyone and servers always pouring great coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a midnight flight home, so after we checked out, they securely stored our luggage until our 8:30 pm ride to the airport.

Like many hotels today, the lack of drawers in our room -- except for a small closet for hanging items, we lived out of our suitcases. (Thank goodness for packing cubes!)

The staff was above and beyond! There was a poor Wifi signal in my room, and I had an important Zoom call, so the lady at the reception has given me an additional router(!). Beautiful lobby and nice lounge zone on the top floor, superb breakfasts, and the overall experience is very pleasant. There was always a free coffee and cake in the afternoon in the lobby. Also, it's very close to the main touristic places, hence the location is perfect. Loved it!

Though the rooms were extremely clean, the hotel seems a little bit tired.

we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were so accommodating and made it even better. we were able to check in early, and leave our luggage after checkout since our flight was at 11pm. location is walking distance to centro and many restaurants and bars. breakfast was also fantastic. the view from the rooftop pool is also beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. we loved ismael hotel and would recommend to all our friends!

the wifi from our room on the 9th floor honestly wasn’t great. very spotty and disconnecting unless you were in the bathroom or next to the room door. this was the ONLY con, everything else was perfect

The staff were all really friendly, helpful and kind. The location is good for visiting places by walking. It was clean and breakfast was really good. There are plenty of cafes to eat dinner close by. I’d definitely stop there again.

There was nothing I didn’t really like but would have liked a mirror in the bedroom ….not just the bathroom but the other facilities in the room were great. I loved that I could make a hot drink or keep something cold in the fridge and even a microwave .

Location near Beaux Arts museum and good restaurants.

Park and neighborhood are declining. Take Ubers at night.

Staff was very friendly, spacious room, large shower. Great location close to the trendy Lastarria neighbourhood and multiple metro stations.

Slow wifi as we were in corner room; standard room faces busy road so can hear the busses and cars drive by even though we were on the 8th floor

We like the location of the hotel. Walking distance to reach the city attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was very good. The luggage storage service was excellent. After we checked out, we still had a good staying in the lobby with books reading and internet playing.

We didn't know for what kind of reason, we had ordered Superior double or twin room in park side, but we got a standard room in street side.
