Staff were very helpful arranging private tours, comfortable beds
Seems to be on the rougher side of 'nice and leafy ' Santiago. Saw some demonstration/or was it celebration (?) Outside the hotel. Even hotel staff reminds you to never have your phone out while walking. We paid in USD cash on checkout but hotel made another charge against my card - luckily I saw it a few days later and the transaction was cancelled after I queried it.

I had a great experience with front desk service. The attendant not only helped me buy tickets to visit Cerro de San Cristóbal, but also paid for the tickets with his personal card so I could go up the hill via the funicular and go down by cable car, because my credit card was not accepted by the company's website. As I went to Santiago on business, I chose the location of the hotel because it was possible to walk to the office every day. I consider this a positive point, as I was not in traffic and was still able to take a walk observing the rhythm of the city. The hotel is well located, with great availability of transport via metro, bus, car.
On Fridays, the demonstrations continue in the vicinity of Baquedano square, making it difficult to leave and arrive at the hotel. This is not a hotel problem but a current situation in the region, which is apparently decreasing over time.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Security at the gate was a good add. Service desk went above and beyond to help us. They kindly allowed late check-out when we explained our late flight out.
The surrounding neighborhood needs some clean up and refurbishment.

we booked 1 stay on New Year’s Eve with half board. We expected a simple diner, but had a extensive new years dinner. It was really nice. the rooms are big and has comfortable beds

Breakfast did not correspond to the hotel rating. Only a smaller part of a free dinner turned out to be free. I ordered a room for 3 persons on booking.com, informed the hotel about it, and they wrote back that they were ok with it, but a lady at the reception was wondering why we were 3 for the room.
