Good location, very service-minded personnel. Good value for the money. I arrived smoothly at the hotel by metro from Pudong airport, one transfer and less than 10 minutes walk from the metro station. Bought a breakfast voucher for 68 yuan for a really good breakfast.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the robot delivery service—it was such a fun and modern way to receive items requested from reception! The hotel was also very generous with replenishing essentials like towels, bottled water, toothbrushes, slippers, and other amenities, which made our stay even more comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering a great mix of Chinese and international dishes to suit all tastes. While there are a few coffee shops nearby, there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area. However, the location is convenient and just a short taxi ride away from The Bund. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely book this hotel again!

Helpful, agile staff, the room is nothing special, but very clean and comfy, the place is a positive combination of a hotel and a youth hostel. Do NOT skip the breakfast, it’s a feast!

Be prepared to walk a bit each day to the metro, but the walk is not unpleasant. For me it made more sense to walk to / from Hanzhong road most of the time - nicer walk with better views and some convenience stores on the way. Try to walk at least once from West Nanjing Rd, the area is spectacular, especially by night. The view from the room was not wow, but it’s a very okay compromise - at least it had a window!

Overall the hotel was brilliant. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Free toiletries were provided and the room was set up for a convenient hassle-free stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful and check-in / check-out were quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and nutritious.

Although the Wifi worked well it was not possible to access the internet to check emails, make Whatsapp calls etc. Perhaps I should have realised that Western browsers, search engines, communications apps etc do not work in China but it might be helpful to point this out to help other travellers who also hadn't done their research! (I eventually managed to buy a sim card but this only worked very intermittently)

The hotel is located in a quite central area of Shanghai and the nearest tube station (Hangzhong Road) is five minutes away. Hotel staff were friendly and always eager to help when I asked for their help. It is also possible to cycle from central areas/districts to the hotel, something that I did quite a lot! The room was clean and new supplies were provided every day (for example, the tea bag and the biscuits I had were replenished the day after). My room was in the 6th floor and had a nice view of the river as well as the residential buildings across the bank. Overall, my stay was pleasant except the wifi, which was an open network and sometimes unstable.

Wifi was quite unstable the last two days of my stay at the hotel and none of my devices could be connected. So, I had to hotspot from my mobile phone.

Close to metro, buy a daily/3 day all day travel ticket, great value. Staff had limited English, but i did not speak any Chinese, so i cant complain. Very relaxed atmosphere,. Ping pong table in the lobby area,. Room was spotless, very comfy bed. i asked for a 2 hour later checkout, was not a problem. Mobile phone can be charged via many USB ports in room. Keep your room card handy, need it to use the lift. Kettle with coffee/tea & bottled water topped up daily, slippers provided. Breakfast big selection of hot/cold. Across the street from the river walkway. Excellent value for money

An observation, not a complaint, the hotel is not located on the main street, its in a courtyard. I would like to see more towel rails to keep them dry & fresh to use again

Standard hotel room appointed with all the basics. Comfortable bed, heating/cooling, kettle and fridge (although the fridge was very well hidden in a cupboard, slippers. Spacious bathroom, hot shower, nice toiletries provided. Nothing out of the ordinary, all as expected. Well-priced for the quality and location in Shanghai. Easy check in, staff spoke some English, allowed us to check in early in the morning after a tiring overnight flight. Overall would recommend and am planning to stay again.

Wifi didn't work at all for me. Paper cups in the room instead of regular mugs for tea/coffee were a bit weird. The location is quiet but it's not the most convenient if you're coming from the airport with a lot of luggage (it's a 600m walk from the Natural History Museum metro station on line 13; to connect at West Nanjing Road to line 2 to get to either of Shanghai's airport, you have to exit the station, walk a couple hundred meters and enter another "connecting" station). There are no shops/places to eat nearby except for a vegetable market.

Comfortable clean rooms with ample amount of space and storage areas. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned and serviced everyday. Location was rather convenient - only a few mins walk away from metro and has a a few amenities on the block e.g cafe, bar/restaurant, convenience store. Free food is also offered at end of the night as staff are trying to clear any leftovers in the kitchen.

Air con was broken. Thankfully it was November so not so warm at night that I couldn’t sleep but not sure I would have stayed in Spring/summer!

The room of the hotel is big, clean and modern. The bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The location of the hotel is nice, near Suzhou river with an excellent pathway to walk. It is relatively near a metro station and even other stations are not very far and the way there interesting. There are also a few options for food and bars near by. There is water, tea and coffee replenished every day, plenty of amenities next to the reception such us shaving kit and toothbrush and the room was quiet at all time.

The staff is on the "cold" spectrum of communication. They weren't rude or anything, nor they weren't approachable for questions, but either due to language barrier or to lack of interest they didn't feel welcoming or to count on for tips or any other information for the city. (One of the boys was though helpful and even made a call to Xiaomi shop to help me with a product information and how to find the nearest shop) The WiFi although it was working it had the barrier that "western" people are not very familiar and wasn't at any help unless you don't have any at all through your phone The view from the room was nice but the window was quite dirty from the outside so it was decreasing significantly the value of it

Staff were extremely friendly and kind, they helped us order takeout and the room service did an amazing job tidying up our room while we were gone. Rooms were clean and as pictured and again, the staff were lovely. We even ran into the hotel’s delivery robot in the elevator as it was on its way to deliver some food! Definitely worth a stay, especially considering the price. 24 hour concierge is also such a plus and because the staff are so friendly it’s very easy to ask them any questions. Fantastic bang for your buck, we really enjoyed our time here.

Only con is that the doors are a little thin so you should be a little mindful of the noise you’re making out of respect for your neighbors, especially if you’re going to be checking out early in the morning. Also, the elevator was a little old and the buttons were finicky, but the rest of the building looked very new and modern.
