Selena hostel is in a great location, just walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the Arepas making class that took place in the kitchen on my first night there! They always have fun events going on. I loved the cute little coffee shop downstairs which was so nice and convenient when you wake up and want to grab a cup of coffee and quick breakfast. My room was clean and my stay was very comfortable. There wasn’t a lot of noise which was one of my favorite things about this hostel.

Family room 808 was great for 5 people. Beds comfortable. Clean sheets. Hot water in shower.

AC didn’t work. Staff nice but many times unknowledgeable. Everything extra is expensive- tours cost double then anywhere else!!! Generally, feels very impersonal. Feels as if a bunch of teenagers are running the place and there’s no one really in charge. Kitchen was poorly stocked.

Amazing coworker space, great location, nice café, confy beds and pillows.

Water and drinks are very overpriced there. There are many receptionist during the day but at night just one. I needed a blanket because if was super cold in the room and was told that they didn’t have it. when I asked further, the girl started having a nervous break down and started crying because she was busy with checking ins. They also sent more people to the room because they forgot to update their system…. I found my stay messy and disorganized for what we pay.

The beds are really comfortable, they have curtains for privacy, map and power plugs. The staff was great. They have activities everyday which is super cool to meet new people.

DIRTY KITCHEN. Every single morning the kitchen would be super dirty and it seems that no one would clean till mid-day. So if you like making your own breakfast, tea or snacks, forget it, the kitchen is too disgusting to enter.

The hostel is located in a very centric location but far enough from the party area, so it's very quiet at night. The staff is extremely helpful for any sort of inquiry and I even received an upgrade to my booking with no additional cost.

Wifi does not work in the room.

Nice staff, even though I was grumpy on check in. A relaxed place.

I just thought the integration with booking.com could have been better. I was tired and didn't want to have to fill in all the same information that was already on booking.com.

Selena Medellin has everything you need for a comfortable stay you can order food or cook it yourself in a very nice kitchen of common use. you can chill at the beautiful bar and even take Salsa lessons, there is a meditation room, a library a little movie theatre, co-working area. it’s awesome

in the Sunday afternoon the coffee shop is close :/

The staff, atmosphere, and location. The room was specious and pretty. Showe products were fantastic! Beautiful view.

The room didn't have AC, and besides, it is really nice located. Sleeping was a real struggle because the night party noise was closed by. The bed sheet needs to be updated.

The staff, the location, the room, the multitude of activities provided, etc... the list goes on. I would move, and live there permanently, If I could.

I liked the location and the quietness of the room. The design of the hotel and the modern decoration.

The breakfast was the same every morning, not all the receptionist speak English. I asked to clean my shoes and they made it a complicated process that needs 4 days while another hotel done it in 1 day. There was no hot water for 3 days and they didn't offer me alternative shower or substitute. Every time I ask they said it will be fixed in 2 hours.
