If you are looking for a very quiet, secluded, peaceful, villa surrounded by absolutely gorgeous farmland and spectacular view of the volcano, this is for you. It's just far enough to be at complete peace, but close enough to La Fortuna to do all of the touristy activities that you'd like to do (as long as you have a car, and you 100% need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to access the property). Really enjoyed the little kitchenette so we could whip up an easy meal if we got tired of going out to eat.

This was probably to be expected being basically out in the wilderness/jungle/rainforest/etc., but, everyday we found multiple bugs in our room. If you stay here you need to not be super freaked out by bugs. It didn't help that our screen door was ripped and the sliding glass door had a gap in it at the bottom so it wouldn't close completely, which probably is how many of the bugs got into our room in the first place. The wifi speed was a little slow, but honestly, it didn't bother us much as we were just trying to relax, unplug and enjoy ourselves on vacation. But if wifi is important to you, just know that the speeds are not great but it's survivable. Lol.

The view, quietness, and landscaping of the hotel was amazing. It truly felt like we were the only ones out there when in our rooms. Arith was great with providing everything we needed, including breakfast every morning. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

The water in the shower could have been hotter, it was like warm. Ants would get in easily to the room we were in (across from the reception building), so we had to make sure to tightly seal the trash every night. The drive up to the property is a pretty rough dirt/rock road with many potholes and ditches, but well worth it.

Amazing view on the Arenal. Very nice bungalows with everything you need inside. Lovely, peaceful propriety. 2 min drive to the Mistico Hanging Bridges park. Bumpy road at the end but nothing worse than in other parts of Costa Rica. Need to drive at least 15 min to the first diner option, but we knew that before coming and we chose the place for the peace and calm. The staff arranged the Roca canyoning tour for us which was absolutely great and just 1km further from the hotel so very convenient.

Wi-Fi was not good in our bungalow, only in the reception area. We ended up using the admin wi-fi with the staff permission, which was very nice of them. Breakfast could be better, there are fresh fruit which is great, but the rest is things from a plastic packaging - cupcakes etc.

The location is fantastic , 10/10 with amazing volcano views. if you’re looking to get away from La Fortuna crowds this place fits the bill. our actual suite was very large and well appointed with many kitchen amenities and a hot tub which makes it a great deal at the current prod. we had an issue getting the hot tub warm the first night and Arith was very helpful in getting it working . the only negatives for the place potentially could be that the approach road could be difficult for a 2WD or small vehicle , but that was not an issue for us. Fabulous place! Incredible having a beautiful cabin with incredible views, plus having a great jacuzzi overlooking the volcano. Breakfast was either taken at the Mistico Hanging Bridges restaurant (excellent) or the host brings a basket packed with breakfast goodies.

Everything was fantastic. The ONLY downside is accessibility. We had no car, and Arenal Roca Suites is located down a mostly unpaved road, about one mile from the gatehouse up to Mistico. Almost no taxi or uber drivers will venture down the road, so we hiked to Mistico to pick up Ubers for day trips, and used headlamps to hike back when we returned after dark. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have a car. If you do, this is paradise!!

Amazing location, with an amazing view! The jacuzzi is very nice. And the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was nice too, it was brought to us every morning, but there was also an option to go to a restaurant nearby for more options. All included. Please make sure you come with a 4x4 as the road is quite bumpy!

There were some bugs/tiny ants that came into the room and spreaded out over all our stuff and food.

The pictures were as is. Super location, nice and quite, in midst of nature. Verry well equiped. Kids loved the cows in front.

We could not use the tub, because no water was coming out of any tab at 7-ish. Seems the water tank needed time to fill again, bit by that time we just went to sleep already. Place needs some maintenance. Lot of small lose things, knobs, water tabs and also a few lights not working.

Jaw dropping view of volcano. Nice studio standalone apartment with all the kitchen basics. Large basket of fresh fruit, yougart and granola delivered to patio every morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Misto Hanging Bridges

Although the location is about a 25 minute drive from the town of LA Fortuna and the final 2 miles is along a bumpy dirt road it was well worth it.

The house is quite nice - big and comfortable. The view to the volcano was amazing and we got to see some coati in the backyard too :) Friendly host ready to help. Breakfast is included, but it is the same every day and quality could be improved.

Access road to this property is crazy the first time you do it. Feels like a rollercoaster and unsafe with a small car, but doable in the dry season. You need the car for almost everything, so expect to go on this road daily, twice - 20 min drive to La Fortuna. You are in nature and that comes with all sorts of bugs - crawlers or flying ones. Keep the lights to a minimum at night if you don't like unwelcomed guests in your room. For cleaning services make sure you split whites from colored clothes as they won't do this alone, so you can end up like me with a bad white t-shirt. Problem was solved with our friendly host, so that was just unfortunate to happen.

Incredible view of the volcano, cozy cabin-like suites with a very spacious jacuzzi tub (little tip: don't turn the faucet all the way on, the water will be much warmer), beautiful grounds, yummy breakfast brought to your patio in the morning.

Since it has a tin roof, be prepared for lots of noise if it is windy or raining. Bring a pair of earplugs just in case. The road to get to the suites can be pretty rough in places, just drive slow and you'll be fine!
