Stayed for 5 nights. Clean and comfortable suite with AC and a nice hiking trail. This property is adjacent to an interesting forest edge and secondary forest so birding is very productive. Even owls came to the room just before sunrise, and an olivaceous piculet in the flowering tree outside our window. Guans, curassow, toucans, and parrots would frequently come to feed on bananas and fruiting palms. There was a starfruit tree outside our suite and some peppers planted around the dining area. Would stay here again.

The garden is already good, but it could become great! The staff were very nice to talk to. The room just needs screens for the windows to avoid mosquitos entering. For the garden, my biggest suggestion is that the landscaping is overdone with grass. This has the downside of requiring frequent mowing and displacing productive plants. Even more birds could be brought to the property by adding more flowering bushes and fruiting trees into the lawn. Plenty of room, keep adding those hummingbird magnets (porterweed)!

We loved how remote this was! Our cabin backed into the rain forest, and we had some of the best views of Arenal Volcano when it wasn't cloudy. The spa bath was excellent, and all the amenities in the cabin were great. The kitchenette had dishes so we were able to enjoy a couple of meals near home.

The bed frame was squeaky and felt like it may have been broken in the middle. We also had to be careful with food, the ants tried to get into everything, but that's what happens in the jungle! Bring some ziplocks to store your food

This property was amazing. The room was spacious, the view of the rainforest was incredible, there was a small trail to hike through the property, and the staff was very helpful. You are only an 8 minute drive to the La Fortuna Waterfalls and a 20 minute drive from all of the hot springs so the location was perfect. We found this incredible open bar in the middle of nowhere, off of a dirt road call Chicha's Restaurant & Lounge Bar (not to be mistaken for Chica's Bar and Restaurant). The staff highly suggested Chicha's and we went to the "wrong one"... what a great mishap. I think the second one has more food options but you won't be disappointed by the ambiance of the open bar Chica's, especially in the evening. We drove to eat at the local spot, Soda La Hormiga. The food was fabulous. We really enjoyed the property, the location and loved Alajuela.

There was nothing we didn't like... My only suggestion for visitors is to be sure you get clear directions before coming. I used Waze to search the Yellow Tree Hotel (which is on the same property) because Tropical Suites and Villas didn't not show up in the search. Once you get there, it's easy to get to where you want to go in the area.

The cabaña was huge and had everything we needed. Although we could only stay for 1 night - the place was all booked up. Outside everything around was green and it felt like we're in the middle of the jungle, yet in the comfort of civilization :) La Fortuna waterfall is VERY close and the whole place is almost at the foot of the Arenal volcano which can be clearly seen from the garden. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was tasty even if a bit overpriced for what we had. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would have loved to stay longer!

The ground of the property are gorgeous, beautiful tropical plants, wild birds singing. Service was very good and helpful. Villa was very clean and comfortable, bed was soft, full kitchen was great. A/C was cold. Breakfast was great, freshly made and delicious. Would definitely return for another trip, value was amazing for what we had.

No hot water for shower or jacuzzi, was just warm. Screens for the patio had holes in them.

The gardens surrounding the villa were beautiful. It was quiet and serene. I think the pictures should be updated to better showcase how nice the villa is! Incredible value for the price. I would also highly recommend paying for the in room massage, which I set up through the reception. We were able to do a couples massage on the porch and it was so pleasant.

The bed was a little firm, but it didn’t cause any issues

Location was good. Arenal Volcano close by. Beautiful landscape. Good breakfast in outside facility was peaceful. Staff was great to talk to. Beautiful birds. Short trail next to our cabin was fun to walk on. Comfortable bed. Jacuzzi tub in room looked out into jungle area.

There was no sub flooring, which allows insects to come in. However, we really didn't see many.

The location was slightly away from the town but a short 5 minute drive. It was a short drive from La Fortuna waterfall which was great for our morning trip. The breakfast was great, the separate breakfast area had lots of bird feeders where you could see lots of birds come feed while you ate. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the staff were great, checking everything was to our liking. Food was delicious. The chef even invited us to a party in the town after we had eaten which was very kind of him. The hot tub inside if the room was fantastic! we sat in there and relaxed after a long bumpy drive over through the mountains. The villa was spacious and had a safe and a large bed, it came with glasses and some kitchen stuff which was great.

It would have been great if there were screens in the big windows so that we could have had them open while in the hot tub to hear the sounds of the forest and to let a little steam out of the room. It would have been great to have more than 1 drink allowance for breakfast.

The Breakfast was amazing and it was near town center. The staff was very welcoming and the owner as well. I was very happy with the views and the well kept gardens

the only thing i did not like was i was moved three times because of double booking and i had to leave my tour to come and move my luggage to a new room.

The view from the room and the bathtub was great. We could see the volcano clearly! There is a nice hike on the property, just make sure you take bug repellant. They did room service for breakfast this time around, which was punctual. They also hand a restaurant near the reception. Both breakfast and dinner food were tasty. The staff is nice and very accommodating.

There was bird poop on outdoor furniture but we wiped it off and it was fine.
