Location is amazing - island of Lopud well worth a visit! Rooms clean and good size. They were kind to give a free room upgrade which was very generous! Hotel beach is beautiful.

Some places felt a little unfinished- room was very clinical- clean but lacked warmth/style. However when an issue was raised, staff were quick to fix. No phone in the room. Had to ask for shower gels to be topped up. Would no recommend half board- the breakfast is fine, but dinner is really poor. No atmosphere and poor food in Scarlett. Amazing food in town so recommend just eating out.

The location is absolutely stunning with its own private beach and also a lovely swimming pool.

The housekeeping forgot to replenish the tea, coffee, milk, also the shower gel. This happened 7 days out of our 9 day stay. Nevertheless the staff are friendly and helpful and these are minor issues. This hotel is highly recommended.

Excellent location and view!

Breakfast is very poor and no variety for a 4star hotel. Generally hotel needs renovation and upgrading of facilities. Also the concept of towels not being given at the beach but rather in the room and that you have to chase cleaning staff for beach towels is not very user friendly. Also the fact that mini bar doesn’t exist is very strange.

Beach, rooms and staff were amazing. I was working for a couple of days and Wi Fi was great.Good selection of food, great views from the rooms. rooms were cleaned everyday

Not a deal breaker but: some spa facilities were not functioning, slow service at the restaurant when the weather was rainy. shower drains at the beach was blocked causing a horrible smell.

We always with pleasure return to lopud and precisely to Lafodia. We like the peace and quiet there and the opportunity to relax after a visit from crowded Croatia. Access to a private beach and pool is a very big plus. this year there were quite few people so there was no problem to have access to sun beds . Breakfast a little limited compared to previous years and yet we paid more money as before. However, there is something for everyone.

They do not recognise returning guests. We have been there 5 times and always had a welcome back letter with a bottle of wine. this time absolutely nothing. This is not a big minus, but it was always a nice gesture.

We simply loved our stay, the rooms were lovely, very comfortable, housekeeping was fantastic, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The facilities were just amazing, especially considering the property has just 187 rooms. Lots of food and beverage options, great pool, gorgeous private beach so well attended by the beach team who bring lounger mattresses and towels. We dined like kings at local restaurants The Villa (proper fine dining) and freshest seafood at Restaurante Dubrovnik. A very nice walk through the forest over the rim of the island takes you to the beautiful Sunj beach (Snake Bay) no need to take the golf buggy taxis available at £2 pp, it’s a shady, fragrant walk.

Best vacation of my life. I'm wondering why some other reviews say it should be a 3-star hotel, what? My opinion: it should be a 5-star hotel. Amazing, secluded island location, barely any people on the beach in the morning, most show up at 10-11am. Fantastic, clean water. Pool was refreshing and also amazing view. Barely any people there ever and we were there in August. View from the balcony - great. Food - amazing, I mean breakfast is pretty standard, but quite a wide selection, from nuts and dried fruit to fresh fruit, grilled vegetables and meats, eggs, breads. Dinner - outstanding. Seafood, fish, meats, healthy and delicious salads, fruit.. Also fast service at the restaurant. Evening walks are romantic and beautiful, no vehicles. Mornings are good for runs and such, the island is not small. Building/resort itself is quite well-thought out and unusual. It's basically built into a hill, without damaging it. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a relaxed vacation and reboot.

Cleaning could be faster. However, in such a great place it's really your choice if it upsets you. We spent some time in Croatia and Serbia, service isn't fast, but it's basically a trait of the region.

This hotel felt like 5 star, we loved the views, the friendly staff, the quiet after busy Dubrovnik, the sea swims in clear, cool water & the proximity to the village which had a great choice of restaurants to eat in while watching the wonderful sunsets ! Staff to thank :- the following were exceptionally friendly, helpful & fluent in English - Nadia(excursions/tours) Tihomir (manager in the restaurants) & Aida (excursions/tours).

Nothing ! A very small point, perhaps consider painting the pink entrance pillars white or black. I felt like I was entering a bouncy castle ! The decor elsewhere in the hotel was lovely.

Beautiful Island and the Hotel is in a fantastic location. Very friendly and helpful staff. With a special mention to Boyan (from Macedonia) in the restaurant, great guy who gave us tips of where to go on the island. Very nice private beach with crystal clear water for swimming. I highly recommend a stay
