The hotel is situated outside the city center where the tourist attractions are. But the #6 bus is right outside the hotel and conveniently drops us off at the "Old town." It's a big, modern, generic "4-star" hotel like the ones in many American cities. Comfortable but devoid of character. The staff are often busy and overwhelmed with many tour groups, so don't expect any personalized service.

Avoid the dinner buffet even if you're starving! At 35 euros, it was a nightmare of quantity over quality. Everything, meat, fish, veggies, pasta, etc, was overcooked, bland and unappetizing. So much to choose from, but nothing was yummy. The atmosphere was stressful, swarming with hundreds of people from tour groups. There was so much food wasted, which is what happens when the food, though plentiful, just tastes awful! The "free" breakfast was also of poor quality. Runny scrambled eggs and long lines to get coffees at the coffee machines.

The bathroom could benefit from renovation, as it seemed outdated or in need of some improvements.

We had booked 3 person room but was upgraded to a Junior suite with Sea view. Hotel staff is very kind and accommodative. Indoor swimming pool was heated and big enough. There is an outdoor even bigger pool as well but we didn't make use of it as it was cold. We had the breakfast and dinner buffet, both of which were very good. I have rarely seen so much variety and spread in an hotel buffet. We kept our car in the hotel and instead use the bus 6 to go to City, which is very convenient and bus stop is right outside the hotel. Bus tickets can be purchased from the hotel shop itself. To sum it up, it was a perfect stay and couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely big hotel with friendly staff. It has lots of facilities including a large spa which we didn't get a chance to use but looked great! The breakfast buffet was big with lots of options but not much in terms of vegan food although they do provide milk alternatives. The location is good, has a view of the sea and is only a short cab ride from the old town.

The main pool area thats shown was closed due to building/maintenance works from the looks of it, which we weren't informed about which was a bit disappointing to not have been told about this. The other pool was still in use though so at least there was somewhere to swim although we did have to set up our own sun loungers as they had all been packed away. We also found the hot food at breakfast was quite cold even when we arrived at 7am for breakfast.

We had a lovely room with a sea view, worth paying a bit extra to secure. The pool and beach areas are fabulous. We went down to the 5 star presidente hotel one night for drinks and watched a lovely sunset. Getting the 6 bus in to town was very convenient. Overall a great stay in an excellent 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic in the morning. The hotel had a lot of staff on and worked through everything efficiently though so can’t really fault them. The breakfast is good and the room it’s held in is lovely.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, a perfect escape from the crowds in the old town without being too far away. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. and there’s a bus stop outside which takes you straight to the old town, with services running late into the night. Attractive grounds and landscaping, and being able to use sister hotels’ facilities is a plus. Room was big, comfortable, modern with great air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot and cold food available, a bit busy around 9am but that’s to be expected in the height of summer! Staff were very helpful too and knowledgable about public transport, opening times of attractions, etc. Great gym but shame it isn’t open 24 hours.

Would have been useful if some facilities (e.g gym, pool) were open 24/7 - we often didn’t have time to use them due to being out in the city all day

The staff were amazing. Particularly Marija at reception, who really helped us out when we needed to catch a catamaran when it was very windy. She called the company for us to check it was going, printed the tickets etc. Spent so much time with me, I really appreciated it. Spa facilities were great, 2 types of sauna and a steam room + extras and a womens only area. Huge swimming pool at a lovely temperature. Breakfast had a very large spread, staff were very helpful. Reception staff called cabs for us, always very helpful.

Some sexist male staff. At check in the staff kept talking to my male partner, not me (female), even though I'd made the booking and I'd gone up to speak to them, gave them my name etc, he didn't say a word. Gave the card reader to him, even though I was paying and had led the discussion. The welcome letter was addressed to 'Mr' not 'Ms' which I'd specified. Even he noticed. I expect better. Gym is very hot, not air conditioned. The coffee in the morning wasn't nice. No other coffee machine if you wanted a cappuccino or latte.

breakfast was a buffet with everything you could want and more with chefs ready to cook for you, i had the omlette and it was delicoius selection of breads, fruit, juices etc was amazing and so much room to move around

missed the jacuzzi but i think it was just getting fixed but it did not spoil our break away in any way, the sauna, steam room, and indoor heated pool was well enough, with shower in steam room, and again much more than that there with 2 room for peace and quiet

interior, styling, general cleanliness was perfect. Variety of sun-lounging spaces and pool areas.

communication at check-in could have been better. it took us a couple of days to release we had access to an additional pool and sun lounge area. We didn't have lunch and dinner in our package but the breakfast buffet was overly busy with long queues at the theatre counters. Culinary and F&B delivery standard was generally poor, but reflective of the global industry at present. One member of bar staff we found unfriendly, rude and insulting. But everyone else was faultlessly friendly and professional.

The location was great outside of the city with a bus stop just outside the hotel that brough you straight into the city. The staff and Croatia people in general are just so friendly. Breakfast had everything you could want and more. The indoor and out door pool was fab and then the use of the beach area at the sister hotel was great. Beds were comfy and air-conditioning wasn't too noisy. Overall a great stay would highly recommend it and would stay again.

Only thing I could say is the bar closed up at 11 wasn't that big of a problem when we were on the move early in the morning.
