The hotel is superbly located in the centre of Old City of Split, with easy access to all Split has to offer. Loved the décor and especially the lounge on the 1st floor. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and have everything you would expect from a high end hotel. Excellent table service breakfast with choice. Very well prepared and tasty. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive (thank you!).

The hotel is in a great location, perfect for visiting the old centre and the surrounding area, and an easy walk to ferries and the bus/train station. Public busses are close by. The hotel feels new, clean and beautifully presented. Our room was large and comfortable, with nice facilities, good storage and an opening window onto a quiet street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and tasty with an extensive choice of food. The restaurant staff are charming. We ate in the hotel one night and the food and service were excellent. The beef stew and gnocchi which is apparently a local dish was delicious.

It was one of the 4-star hotels with a convenient price/quality ratio for the days I stayed in Split. The location of the hotel was good: even though it's on a narrow street, it's in the middle of the Old Town and most of the landmarks of the city are within walking distance. It's easy to reach the hotel by walking from the bus station as well. The receptionist's communication with me was okay. The breakfast service was good enough. The wireless Internet connection was satisfactory. My room was huge. The bathroom was full of high-quality amenities. There was a kettle tray set in the room. The minibar was full of delicious snacks and beverages, and they were not so expensive. My bed was so comfortable. The A/C was working perfectly.

A few minor cons: I couldn't get what it was, but my room was smelling something like curry. Fortunately it wasn't a very strong smell, so I could tolerate it. The glass separator of the tube in the bathroom was too small.

The staff was very responsive to questions regarding services and restaurants prior to arrival. The location of the property was perfect for exploring Split, the restaurant staff was very polite and hard working. The breakfast included was very nice and we appreciated the coffee pods free of charge in the room.

We arrived one hour after the allowed check in time and there was one couple checking in ahead of us. We were asked to wait in the bar and the receptionist did not retrieve us for 50 minutes. It seemed it was an effort to make guests spend money at the bar, as my husband checked once during that time and she was not assisting anyone else and two other couples had been directed to the bar as well to wait.

The staff was friendly and we felt very welcome. The breakfast was also nice with fruit and veggies.

We were told the hotel was "Adults only" but there were families with children. We felt we had been cheated and since this was the main reason to choose this hotel we are NOT HAPPY. Adults only should mean ADULTS ONLY.

Wonderful location within the old town close to Diocletian’s Palace and the waterfront. Easy access to transport and no steps or hills to access the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for suitcases. Wifi and air conditioning were excellent. Breakfast was good.

It can be a little difficult navigating the narrow lanes and alleys and finding your way to and from the hotel. Best take a direction finder with you.

Central location - very helpful staff organised a golf buggy to take us to our cruise boat the next day Room was fantastic, large, and with all amenities

The beautiful location means finding it is tricky but that’s part of the fun! I thought the breakfast could be more interesting, I usually judge on whether orange juice is freshly squeezed or long life. More nuts, seeds, granola, Greek yoghurt would be welcome

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Split - short walk to all the transport eg ferries, buses, taxis. Plenty of restaurants very close by as well as Diocletian's Palace. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and showers excellent. Staff were very helpful and even assisted with our bags on the short walk to the taxi area when we were leaving.

The location could not have been better - right at the heart of old town and only minutes from anywhere you wished to visit. Rooms were fine.

Buffet breakfast was a bit hit and miss (mostly miss) but the dining and bar staff were excellent. Live music one night in the bar area! Reception staff could have been a little more welcoming and cheerful.

The staff were lovely and very helpful and went out of their way to find us a good restaurant and attend to any issues

There was an issue with a plumbing noise which they tried to rectify but to no avail. It was an intermittent sound that disturbed my sleep on both nights but was hard to pinpoint as it only went off periodically. The staff did their best to fix the problem. The local church bells are rung around 6am daily which is a pain.
