Location is perfect.

Furniture a tad out of place (a plug-in massage couch(?!) next to the bed that didn’t work); fridge too small and stuck in a corner on the floor; no coffee maker. No breakfast at the hotel - you have to walk 650m (which is pleasant enough) along the promenade to another hotel to enjoy a pretty dreadful breakfast. Nobody has cleaned under the bed in months; bathroom had a previous guest’s long black hairs on the floor.

Location great. Room was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Beds comfortable.

Could have been a bit forthcoming resupplying shower soap and there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Empty and didn’t refill. Just didn’t explain anything. Weren’t helpful

Poorly trained, arrogant staff with innkeepers behavior. Their only concern is how not to issue a tax receipt or a document certifying the payment. Even if the booking on booking.com is made with the card, in order to be able to evade the payments to the state (the only explanation for this kind of behavior) at the location, nothing but cash is accepted.

Hotel is beautifully decorated and designed, exactly what we had hoped from its boutique status. The roof terrace is excellent and offers great views across the city and the hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the ancient walled palace.

The hotel seemed to be very reluctant to allow card payment, almost insisting on cash only. For a multi-night stay this would be too much cash to carry in my opinion, plus local aims charge 11-13% for cash withdrawals adding to the overall cost of your stay.

The staff, especially Andrea was exceptional. The room was adequate size and clean. The location was ideal for engaging in the palace and near the waterfront. I would recommend this facility to fellow travelers.

Due to the design all guests had to negotiate stairs. The entry lobby is small - but again that is a design feature.

Location in the middle of town, brilliant access to Split town, very clean, staff lovely and helpful!

Accommodation completely misrepresented on website, room very small, things included on website didn’t exist, no desk in room, no kettle, no iron. Had to walk nearly 10 minutes to sister hotel for breakfast, disappointing!

The room was really spacious, for the price and the location it was really good. The place also has a rooftop with a nice view.

There a few steps to get to the first rooms and the lift, so it’s a bit uncomfortable for the ones carrying big suitcases.

The hotel was brilliant, after another hotel had cancelled us last minute they were able to accommodate us with 3 rooms all next door to each other for our family. Check in was open really late and staff very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, right in the centre of the old town with the original walls as part of the hotel. Rooms very clean and lovely views from the windows. Roof terrace was great

Nothing - everything was great. Obviously a breakfast included would have been lovely but then you are in the centre of town so lots of eating options. It was a shame the lift didn't go to the ground floor as suitcases heavy but staff helped

The hotel is situated at the center of Split therefore it is very convenient if you don't want to waste time while you are there. The rooms are very big and the small balcony is nice to have even though the hotel is stacked against other properties but you can still have a chance to see tourists walking by the centre of town. The staff are great and the price is ok considering the hotel's proximity to the Diocletian's Palace, Split bus station and other important places. The only minor issue was the shower didn't have a curtain so the water easily spilled over the entire bathroom made of wooden floors so it was a hassle to take a shower and cleanup afterwards. Otherwise a good hotel with a great location.
