**Review of Hotel Jupiter** Hotel Jupiter's prime location within the historic Diocletian’s Palace, close to the Jupiter Temple, Peristil, bars, restaurants, and the promenade, makes it ideal for a romantic getaway, cultural exploration, and relaxation. It's easily accessible from Split International Airport by bus and has nearby ferry connections. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend Hotel Jupiter for its perfect blend of location, accessibility, and exceptional service, and look forward to returning.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness and hygiene of the outside terrace. During breakfast, we noticed dirt and waste under our table and around us. Although we reported this to the management, they sent a staff member who began cleaning but was quickly redirected to another task, leaving the area still unclean.

Breakfast. Disappointing. There was a smaller choice compared to other hotels I had stayed in, and the butter portions had not been refrigerated properly. Flies (fruit flies?) were a nuisance.

Good and comfortable stay with exceptional location right in the heart of the old town and 3 min walking distance from the harbor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good and staple breakfast included. Rooms were elegant and clean. What I liked was the combination of old and new.

When we first checked in late night, the sliding door of the bathroom was not working. We had to spend the night with open bathroom door which was quite inconvenient since the hotel had no available room. However, the hotel staff made sure to give us an upgrade immediately next day with our luggage shifted in a more nicer room. So in the end all was good.

despite informing the hotel we were arriving early (10.30am)we were greeted quite abruptly by the man on reception saying we must be checking out as no one would be arriving this early for check in we were able to store our bags prior to check in, but this is under a table in reception not a locked room but as the hotel is quite small this did feel safe. when we returned to check in, it was very brief encounter, not provided any information on the hotel or its facilities. had to ask about breakfast and WiFi etc, the lady then answered her mobile which was our signal that we had taken up enough of her time

Central location inside the Diocletian Palace but close to tour operators, buses, trains, boats. Nice buffet breakfast Comfortable room, useful fridge. Helpfull staff

The room was not as described on booking com. We had to ask for a kettle and bathrobes which were not in the room although it was stated they would be. There was no safety deposit box in the room, and although when we asked, we were told one would be there the next day, it was never provided. There was no city view unless a wall a few feet from the window is regarded as a city view. The spa bath did not work, and as the shower head leaked, it was difficult not to get water all over the floor.

Location was perfect, really within the palace. What was also very nice was the possibility to have breakfast outside at a very cosy silent piazza with view at the Jupiter temple.

For me it was less of an issue, but what is good to know is that the standard way to reach the rooms is via the elevator. Although there is a stair, it does not reach the reception area. It is only for emergency reasons since the stairs arrive at the travel agency just next to the hotel. When you really have a fear for elevators you can just use teh stairs and need to walk ~10 more meters from the next door travel agency back to the hotel. Staff seems to be used t it :-)

The Location was very central within the Palace Ruins, excellent walking distance to the Old Town. All transport links were within easy walking distance - Buses to Airport / Ferries / Taxis. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We were booked in for breakfast although not a huge selection it gave a good both Cooked and Continental Choices

The Bathroom was a room off Bedroom, unfortunately the bathroom door didn't close (it was meant to be a sliding door) so there was no privacy when using the toilet. The Mattresses were very soft, I think due to being old, they could do with being replaced. The Air Conditioning was more of a Cold Air Fan, it didn't work too great but at least it wasn't noisy. We didn't like the way we were pushed to withdraw cash from ATM's when you were going to a restaurant, a few would accept card payment but certainly not all.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Right next to the palace in the old town making it very easy to access the property from the airport /bus / train station or port and later to explore the city. I arrived late in the evening and the staff were very efficient. The room was excellent, comfortable bed, great shower with in room jacuzzi made my stay very comfortable. The television had a great selection of options in multiple languages, including English, German and others. This proved critical as I was able to watch the French Open final. Reception staff were friendly and provided helpful advice regarding options for exploring the city. The breakfast was included in my room rate and was excellent with a wide variety of buffet options and great coffee!

Nil - excellent location and services.

Excellent location in the Diocletian Palace, a 5-minute walk from the island ferries and the bus/train station, a 15-minute walk from the city beach. For a culture / history buff, staying in the midst of all the cultural and historical attraction is ideal.

Having a readily available roof place for casual suntanning would be a bonus. Some people may prefer this to the city beaches that tend to be overcrowded, loud or a tad dirty. It is not of the hotel's doing but the price of the airport taxi (EUR60-70), as guaranteed and organized by the hotel for a 25-km drive is steep. It is even worse when one tries to book a taxi on one's own, scams abound in Split and some end up paying EUR100-200 for a ride. Shocking. Likewise, a half-a-litre bottle of water in the airport costs EUR3.50, which must be the most expensive in Europe or even on the Northern hemisphere. These all-important details are off-putting to tourists. Yet, I would not consider revisiting Split, though I immediately fell in love with this city.

Perfect location. Just one minute from the main square!

The wooden support frame for the mattress is dangerous. Corners stick out and due to the size of the room (especially on one side of the bed near the wall - narrow space), we kept bumping into the corners and got bruises on our legs. Lethal! It is pointless having a coffee machine which is difficult to use. No milk or sugar. Better to have a small kettle with teas/coffee sachets. No English subtitles on the TV. I am deaf so I use subtitles all the time. Also would be useful for English travellers.
