Right in the middle of down town Alexandria Minuts from everything, but still a little away from the noise of the main street. Amazingly clean rooms, good size, great bed and a great shower. In my room was both a fridge and a TV, and for once they haven't saved on the channels. Channel 0444 was English movies and there was English news as well. Everything you need to relax after a full day in alex. Staff is nice and very helpful, speaks English and can assist with questions or directions Sure you can easily find better, but not at this price

Location is is beyond excellent; Everything is two steps away from you; Restaurants and cafes: How much do you want according to your budget, and you can choose what you want? Cafes are open 24 hours a day. The sea, the Corniche, and sitting on the Corniche, you are completely safe. Transportation to any available place is considered inexpensive

The hotel may need some development, especially in terms of furniture; There had to be good chairs in the room to allow some sort of changing and sitting on the balcony

The location was really the best. It's just in the city center of Alexandria, 5 minutes on foot from the Corniche. Also the most important attractions, such as the Citadel, the Mosque, the library and the Catacombs are only few minutes far by Taxi, which is very cheap. The reception desk is 24/24 open, they can speak english and they are kind and available to help you with everything you need. Regarding the room, it was OK for the price. Everything was clean.

The furniture is kinda old and smelly, but you can manage it if you are planning to stay 2-3 days only. You have to consider that from 3 to 5 pm there is no electricity provided.

I want to thank the Hotel Manager for his utmost care and his professional fast customer care. I had a problem with the room. I was given a different room than booked at first. I complained about it and he handled my request very fast and professionally. I switched rooms and I received a polite explanation for the situation. I recommend the hotel. The staff is friendly, location is very good, value for money is also on point. I would come again when I visit Alexanderia for a quick stay. The city is also interesting!

The only drawback for me was the weak wifi, not reliable if you want a decent connection

Room was clean and location was very close to all amenities. Staffs were friendly and accomodating. They even provided room cleaning service in the morning if needed which lacked in most of the budget accomodations i stayed. Shower had steaming hot water and the bathroom was clean. Room had more than 2 plug points which was very convenient.

Toilet had to be flushed two to three times for the contents to be properly flushed. Room felt a little too cold as cold air seeped through the bottom of the wooden door in balcony.

honestly!! I was surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms and the professionalism of the staff there, they were the best 🙏❤️ As a price for what you will get, it is a very, very fair price. I checked in late, and they did not cancel the reservation, they were checking on me until I arrived at the hotel safely and checked out late because of a problem with my luggage , and they tried to help me, and I did not even pay any extra fees. . I lost my engagement ring, and they all tried to help me search for it without getting bored or frustrated, even though . I was a very annoying guest 😅 .. Maybe my trip was not 100% happy, but the best thing about it is the hotel reservations and other things. I highly recommend it ❤️❤️

The ac wasn't working properly so they changed my room as soon as it was possible.

Such a great staff, very friendly and really helpful. The place was very clean and well kept.

This is a great little hotel, located close to Raml Station and within easy walking distance of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It is also very close to many other tourist sites. The staff are all lovely and eager to help, and the hotel itself is a quiet and well run little gem close to the Corniche. Highly recommended!

Honestly, there was nothing negative about my time at Sea Star; the hotel is cute and comfy, the people who run it are very warmhearted and helpful, and the location is great, too. : )

As it is now Ramadan, I chose not to take any breakfast in the hotel. However, they seem to offer a fine continental breakfast here, and have a medium-sized dining room set up for meals.

To my mind, there was nothing negative about my stay there. Sea Star is the ideal small hotel; I enjoyed everything about it, and look forward to bringing my wife to stay, too, when we return to Egypt. : )

It may have been a great hotel a long time ago, but it is very old now. Everything in this hotel is old. The bathroom is new and comfortable, with hygienic shower.

Old renovation, no restaurant. Impossible to check in before check in time, you should wait in lobby for hours.
