The hotel was absolutely wonderful. I stayed there for one night because I wanted a good place close to the airport, and it turned out to be perfect. The location is excellent — not only near the airport but also surrounded by fun places where you can easily spend an entire day exploring. What I appreciated the most was the free shuttle service to and from the airport. It saved both time and money, and it made me feel very safe, especially since my flight was early in the morning and I needed to be at the airport by 5 a.m. The shuttle is operated directly by the hotel and used only by hotel guests, which made it feel even more secure. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a complimentary choice of either an Arabian sweet platter or a cheese platter — we chose the cheese platter, and it was delicious and generous enough for two people. We booked a standard room, which was spacious and well-equipped. All the amenities and facilities exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near the airport.

You can truly feel their dedication to excellent service. The shuttle driver also deserves special praise — courteous, prompt, and so friendly! The ride was not only convenient but also enjoyable thanks to the driver’s positive attitude and helpful nature. The hotel itself is beautiful — very clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. My room was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a perfect retreat after a long day. It’s clear that great care goes into keeping the entire property in excellent condition. It’s rare to find a team and a place so committed to making guests feel welcome and cared for. The room was comfortable on the whole, pool and facilities well equipped. On site food is very good and value for money. Reception staff and shuttle service staff are very good and helpful generally.

Asking to pay as your food is being served or soon after you have finished is not good. There seems a reluctance to add food and drink to your room or payment being taken after your meal or drinks. Too much attention on collection of money is made which gives you a feeling of distrust. If you are able to afford the $200 a night fee then I am sure the customer can also afford to pay the $50 dinner or bar bill...

The staff are excellent, particularly at the pool bar, Remoon is super friendly and customer service is top notch. The shisha is great and the staff member for this is so attentive but never intrusive. The meals in the restaurants I tried were all good and priced reasonably. Although this hotel is far from main attractions, it was easy to book a car for the day through the concierge. We attempted to start our trip in Giza but on arrival there made the decision to stay further out and travel in. If you require good standards and peace during your holiday, I recommend staying at this hotel.

The rooms are a little small for 2 adults and 2 kids.

I had an incredible stay at the Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel during my 24-hour transit in Cairo. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, and from the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel driver was waiting for me, even though my flight was slightly delayed. He was calm, patient, and very professional, which made my arrival so much easier. The staff at the hotel were equally impressive—professional, friendly, and always willing to help. They even assisted me in arranging a fantastic day tour to the pyramids, which was absolutely amazing. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and I appreciated the opportunity relax by to pool and visit the spa before my departure. The hotel shuttle conveniently took me back to the airport the following day, making everything seamless. Everything about the Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel was perfect, and I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Cairo!

Whatt started off as a nightmare holiday, turned into one of the greatest family trips we had! I stayed at the Renaissance (R) from 22 Feb to 2 March. Booking.com hotel messed up our original hotel reservation and after hours of being stuck in limbo for almost 5 hours with parents who have helath problems (including arthritis, Alzheimer’s, depression, joint problems etc), the holiday got significantly better after we checked into the Renaissance Hotel. Upon arriving at the R, it seemed like there was not enough room for my family to stay (6 of us altogether). Mostafa Ammar, the manager, came to the rescue. After explaining to him what had happened to my family and how my priority was to ensure my parents could take their medication and go to sleep (it was almost 6am!!!) that was the first thing Mostafa did. He also gave my parents’ first night stay free of charge- what a moving gesture! He sorted out the full 9 nights stay planned in Cairo, so my family accommodation was no longer a worry. It turned out to be a fantastic stay, despite being borne of somewhat of a disaster from booking.com. Things only got better. A fantastic hotel, gorgeous details, fabulously large rooms with excellent decor, facilities and super cosy beds. Staff were kind and helpful (most of them anyway!). Breakfast was just bliss- Tamer would bring my father bananas specially, as those were his favourite and he would always tend to my family table. The staff were friendly, always smiling and very attentive. The R gave a lovely surprise for my parent’s wedding anniversary which was extremely thoughtful. The room cleaners- wow, how are they the sweetest people? They deserve a payrise! Big smiles, positives vibes and left the room perfectly tidy. Every part of the room was 10/10 job, usually there are bits that are untouched at times other hotel stays but I had absolutely no complaints. The poolside food is really good, much better than the room service food in my opinion.

Not much, would be great if there were local shops a short walk away or eateries locally. Locality not great but can taxi everywhere. View from my room wasn’t great but I did only choose the basic option so it was just a wall. Opt for pool view, it’s gorgeous!

Everything was perfect stuff of work very recognizable and professional and breakfast was amazing especially Mr Tamer manager of the restaurant doing his best to make everyone happy and sole par swimming pool there’s another world there remon and 2 chefs mohamed and mostafa fantastic food and shisha also there yahya professional

location is very good close to airport and big shopping malls in Cairo Staff Staff Staff: all staff were very professional and pleasant to deal with which very hard to find in Cairo! pool was very nice, pool bar was cool check in , check out in few mins. breakfast buffet is the best by far from other hotels I visited in Egypt this year. room cleaning staff were very organized and very pleasant. highly recommended

rooms are small but comfortable. limited internet access to 2 devices per room is not practical given everyone carry labtop, phone, Kids with IPads. this has to change.

Very good location nestled in the quiete neighborhood of the first settlement; moments away from the corporate district of new Cairo; I enjoyed very much the stay at the hotel, the staff took very good care of us. The professional and friendly team at the reception ensured a smooth handling of our requests. Very Good breakfast. Spacious rooms that have very comfy beds. Overall , an exceptional stay, superb service and amneties.

Lovely breakfast, great staff!! Breakfast staff, Mustafa, Achmed Mohamed, Irene and Saima from housekeeping were outstanding!! All the staff members were more than helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

There was some level of construction going on behind the pool area but I guess this has to be done at some stage and it’s only going to improve the hotel overall . Didn’t really bother us too much to be fair, just a bit noisy!
