The view from the terrace is magical. You see all three great pyramids, several smaller queen pyramids and the sphinx. You are closest to the sphinx compared to all hotels around, and have an unobstructed view of the sound and light show in the evening. Because of this closeness and the first upper floor level of the terrace, you feel connected to the sphinx. The hotel is brand new and everything works; WiFi is good, aircon is quiet, shower good and coffee machine is very very nice. The hotel is also very clean. We liked the staff and thought they went the extra mile for us, without asking for anything in return. We have never written such a positive review but in this case it is well deserved.

It was one of the best stays I have ever had. From the breathtaking view of the great pyramids and sphinx, including the light show at night. The breakfast was amazing with a taste of traditional Egypt, every morning by the terrace with the one of a kind view. The terrace was my favourite part. The room was very clean and had all the amenities required, including satellite tv. I felt at home every day there, thanks to the owner / manager Mr Hassan always checking to make sure everything is perfect and that I was comfortable, special mention to Mr Hani , Ms Alaa, Ali, Abdu, Mohammad and the rest of the wonderful staff. Their kindness and smiling faces every day made the trip very special. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try for a special taste of Egypt and looking forward to going back there on my next stay.

The Gate hotel is totally the best! Brand new hotel with the best terrace to see the view of Sphinx and Pyramids! Awesome ! New rooms with air conditioner nice beds and pillows! We are so glad we met Hassan who helped us and hosted us to their lobby when we had trouble with our reservation in another hotel. When we decided to change hotel and stay to “The Gate” Hassan got us a great room with a view right in front of the Pyramids and he brought us everything we needed! All the staff was extremely helpful and nice ! Lola also with her warm smile and all the others! We also had the best coffee with cardamom and a great breakfast! No words can express how grateful we are we met Hassan ! Thank you ! We totally recommend stay here!

This is the closest terrace to the pyramids, with wonderfull coffe and juices to relax and enjoy the view. My highest recommendation. In the evening you can see the light show and story telling about egypt and pyramids history, which makes it quite remarkable

The location is great and the staff are friendly , the rooms were clean and comfortable and the terrace view is breath taking. The breakfast was nice .. and i loved their turkish coffee. Good value for money.

Honestly an easy 5 star to give , the hotel is SPOTLESS and clean. Everything is very new(it's a new hotel) very very clean. The wifi was good 95% of the time. The AC is strong. I slept very good on the beds. The rooftop balcony area is very nice. They don't bother you to order food or drinks. Very relaxed atmosphere. The free breakfast is fantastic my wife loved it. We didnt even eat lunch or dinner, breakfast got us through the full day. They carry your bags to your room and don't stick around for tips(you can tip though if you want) YOU CANT BEAT THE LOCATION. It's 1 minutes walk to ticket office, easy to get taxi(use pizza hut for uber, easy to find them and for them too) you can go enjoy the Pyramids and be back to your hot shower and soft bed in 1 minute. The shower was very good pressure and hot. The workers were all young and happy. We were allowed late checkout. And the airport pickup is about 2x uber cost. But for 20 dollars it's worth it to have the driver get you at airport and have hassle free experience at the airport. I'd say spend more than a night and go to the pyramids multiple times. Ps. I hate noise and this hotel was really quiet. It's not a party hotel, it's mostly older people(30+)

The property is in-front of the sphinx and the pyramids with marvelous view, near to everything totally new & very clean, Hassan is the manager during check in he upgraded my room for free . Nice and clean place I highly recommend

Just amazing.

At the Gate hotel you can almost touch the Sfinx, no other hotel is closer. This hotel is unique because of the friendliness and commitment of the employees. It is a safe and quiet heaven in the buzzy area of Giza. The breakfast is excellent, cappuccino really good, only fresh orange juice is missing... however, in the suite, I could take a bad while watching the Sfinx.

you still are in Egypt...So sometimes things take a little longer, service is more reactive than proactive. As I talked with one of the employees, they rather wait for the invitation than to push...So if you need something, just ask, and they will take care of it immediately. Ps. if you are sensitive to barking dogs, take earplugs;-)
