The location of the hotel was great!! We had access to 3 different malls and all kinds of restaurants within walking distance! There was access to grocery stores as well being adjacent to the mall. The hotel breakfast buffet was good but their a la carte was also really good ! They had traditional as well as continental options , the coffee and bar was great as well! The views from the pool were amazing and relaxing!staff was very helpful in organizing taxis and providing recommendations.

Relatively new this hotel is located in a very nice area close to restaurants and next to a shopping mall. Breakfast was delicious with fresh and made to order selections. It has a young vibe and plenty of natural light. Customer service is very good and nice.

Even though the hotel is only a couple of years old, there are things that are falling apart. One of the drawers in the room had the top bent, the bathroom door laminate was separating at the bottom. Water supply is an issue at least in the seventh floor where our room was. One day we had no water, the maintenance team came immediately and fix it, but the temperature of the water is not consistent. You are showering at a nice temperature when suddenly it gets super-hot, so hot you need to get out, so you do not get burn. Not sure if there were stains in the bathroom and toilet floor or dirt that was not cleaned, but it makes you doubt about how good they clean.

The staff at the Hyatt Centric San Salvador was amazing. Always smiling, super helpful, and always professional and courteous. The balcony dining area was beautiful--such a relaxing pleasant place for drinks and food. The restaurant was excellent--we loved the breakfast buffet every morning, and enjoyed dinner several nights. The hummus plate was by far the family favorite! The hotel is beautiful! The lobby is very large, with plenty of places to sit, relax, and hang out. We didn't have the opportunity to hang out by the coffee bar, but I did have two excellent lattes at breakfast. The room was bright, with a nice large window. The bathroom was very nice, with a huge shower. The room was big enough for two adults and two teenagers for 3 nights. There is a gas station with convenience store across the street from the hotel, and there is a pharmacia right next to the gas station. There are at least two nearby shopping malls within walking distance. There is one very tasty local pupusa shop in a nearby neighborhood, a short 500 meter walk.

The beds were quite firm for me, but my wife prefers firm mattresses. I wish there was an option for 2 queen beds instead of only 2 full beds.

It may be that it is the best hotel in the town with still decent price. Newly opened in 2022, it offers spacious, modern room with an eye-catching arrangement and a stylish bathroom. The breakfast is very tasty with variety of choice including local cuisine. It also has a cosy drink bar with an open-air swimming pool.

The place aspires to be luxurious and in fact it is. In such place I would expect super skilled and knowledgable staff that is ready to help and advise. I didn’t experience that, e.g. asking for an advice where to go on New Year’s Eve dinner I was sent to a shopping mall that was already closed.

Beautifully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean & modern (with some local touches), staff very friendly and attentive. Drink prices reasonable, food as per standard hotel rates.

The QR code guide was good, however there were a few errors (like the phone number for room service showing as 54, when it was just 5) and occasional spelling mistake - nothing major, however did confuse matters when trying to contact for first few meals.

The staff and facilities was absolutely amazing 10/10! My room was felt one of a kind with a view of a volcano! They decorated for my birthday and made me feel extra special! The location is very safe, next to 2 very nice malls where you can get ANYTHING you need. The front desk staff arranged my transportation which made it very easy for me. When my flight was delayed twice due to inclement weather at home, the driver was able to accommodate the changes. All of my tours picked me up there without a problem. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. This is such a beautiful country with very special people!

My only critique would be the food. It just was not as great as I expected considering how amazing everything else was. The staff in all cases were completely outstanding. So kind and helpful!

The property was in such a great location. We were able to go out and walk around, it has an exit straight into the mall.

I went to the pool at around 11 am and there was no one at the bar, I waited until 12:30 because I thought maybe that’s the time they open it up, I was up there tanning but wish someone would be working so I could get water or a drink.

Wonderful breakfast and the staff was very kind and super helpful. The location is in the central part of the city and very close to major stores and the malls.

Although the location is very central and convenient, all excursions are far outside the city. Taxi service is definitely needed and that gets pretty pricey.

I loved everything about the property. The staff was extremely nice. I loved the safety-you cannot access anyone’s floor without a key. The shower space nice and big. I loved the privacy of the bathroom. I love the breakfast selection. I love that the space had lots and lots of seating. I loved the attached shopping Mall. 10 out of 10 worth every penny!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Centric! The location is fantastic, situated between three malls, and both San Salvador and Santa Tecla. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the service provided by the staff top notched! The atmosphere and bar at the pool area was perfect. We were able to store our work bags for a week while going to Guatemala!

The real only critique was that the pool was not well heated, but otherwise it was fantastic!
