The view from the room is very nice but the one from the reception/restaurant/lobby is simply amazing! We even got to watch the aurora from there. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into the design of the entire hotel. We also really enjoyed all the little funny details around the lobby! The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was quite simple, yet fresh and tasty.

Our biggest complaint is about the lack of a kettle in the room. Asking staff for hot water (either for medicines or tea) can be uncomfortable, especially when done more than once. Even putting one "tea-station" per floor would more or less solve the issue. Also, the parking lot is quite expensive.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, amazing bar/leisure area at the top floor. Helpful staff, grocery store right next to the hotel and close to the airport. Quiet rooms.

A bit further away from the center, but as we were travelling with a car it was only 10 minutes away.

The hotel was great for value. Modern hotel with great view. Front desk was located on the 11th floor so you are greeted with a beautiful view. The facility is nice and clean. The room has decent size compared to many hotels in Norway.

When we arrived, there was only one staff who was responsible for check-in, tending to the bar and preparing for food. She's great but super busy. Each time when we need to talk to the front desk, there is always a wait. The hotel is located close to the airport not downtown Tromso so depends on your need, it is not as convenient going to downtown.

It's been a long time since I've seen a hotel as good as this Moxy near the airport. There is a reason why the reception is on the 11th floor, because there you have a beautiful view of the airport and the mountains. There is also a roof terrace that is perfect for the evening northern lights (if they are there). The breakfast was great with a lot of choice and small treats. The rooms were big enough and always clean. And the price was "cheap" compared to other hotels in Tromso,,,sorry, can't give more as 10,0 but i would...

- The amazing view from the room (mountain view) and the rooftop bar - the staff… really nice and helpful! - the cleaningness - the wifi (i had to work) - the beds were very confortable, much better to other places in Tromso - the overall look if the hotel inside

- breakfast was poor and horrible, you can tell the products are not good quality, other hotels which are cheaper are much better - there was no desk in the room, just a tiny table against the wall… it made it difficult for me to work - no kettle/tea or coffee in the room (but you can get sone hot water at the rooftop) - quite expensive for a hotel of this standing near the airport (100e/night)

When we arrived, the young lady who helped us with the apps for the buses was a star, the best bit of advice we could have been offered. Staff were always very friendly. Found the gym on the 3rd day as well, lol. The bus stop was right outside the hotel with a supermarket around the corner. The views were brilliant, especially one night with the Northern lights. The bar area, although slightly expensive compared to Tromso itself, was always warm and inviting, with pool, footy and board games. A great hotel, easy to access all the activities, right next to the airport.

Thought certain things were overpriced.

Need a proper restaurant with varieties in vegetarian including soup

Great view at reception & rooms , staff very friendly , great vibe at bar , rooms great size. Close to the airport so transfers too and from are easily accessible. Convince store & food amenities walking distance as well as the shopping centre also walking distance. There’s a nice hiking path that takes your straight into town takes just over an hour so be geared up for conditions.

In the rooms there’s a weird noise that’s constantly make a slight racket sounds like running water can get a bit annoying. Located 15 minutes away from town by car , so taxis can be quite expense if you haven’t rented a car.

Very convenient if you want to heat up your own food which is perfectly possible in the lounge/bar area, with cutlery and plates provided by the hotel - a huge plus! The hotel is near the airport and near supermarket and shopping mall. For reaching the inner city we used our rented car which worked like a charm.

The parking system is very confusing - it was not clear if/how I should make my payment. During night hours the parking device was turned off all of a sudden. The staff at the reception also didn’t know how it works. I do recommend the staff gets educated about the parking system in order to consult and help guest going forward.

The sea view room is very clean, spacious enough for two and staffs are very friendly. An expected Moxy standard service received.

The only downside is that it’s quite a distance from city centre, (but only 7mins by car from airport), so you’d need to arrange transportation either getting public transport - bus takes around 20 mins, or a taxi, they have a system to call for a taxi on 11th floor where the reception and bar area located.
