The hotel is very nice, very well located (10 minutes walking to the old town), the room was large, and the price very good, considering the current standards in Tallinn. The breakfast was really great, I liked it very much!

Everything was ok, but the room was very warm, and it was not possible to regulate the temperature (it is a centralised system). Some staff at the reception should attend a course of communication, especially for foreign tourists who expect more smiles :)

Good location.

It has pictures of swimming pool and gym on site. But when you try to use these they are not part of the price. I asked before booking whether this was included but never got an answer. I tried to speak to a manager but apparently they do not work at weekends. I actually could have booked the Metrpoll Spa for a cheaper price than the 175 I paid but assumed due to the pictures that everything was included at the Metropoll. Very misleading and no communication.

Overall my stay here was ideal & I don't understand the majority of complaints that others have had in their reviews. I really enjoyed the corner room I was given! It was a great size with 2 large windows & everything was clean & comfortable. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, like others have mentioned, but during the first week of September, this is not needed. The spa was really nice as well! I spent one evening there & was very pleased with the experience. Yes, the spa is in the other hotel next door, but they are connected so you do not have to go outside. I also was informed upon checkin that towels are not provided at the spa & that I needed to bring my own. Neither of these things were an inconvenience in the way others have made it seem. The hotel location is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised how many shops & lovely cafes are just steps away from the hotel. Rost is an absolute must for cardamom bun & a coffee! There is even a convenient store right outside the entrance if you need any drinks or snacks. Then, just a quick 10 minute walk across the way & you are in Old Town. It's so easy to return for a few hours to rest before dinner or drop off anything you are tired of carrying.

Others have mentioned this as well, but I really did not like the smell coming from the bathroom. No matter how clean the hotel room was, the bathroom had a very unpleasant sewage smell. However, I smelled this in several other bathrooms around Old Town so it is possible that this is a Tallinn city issue & not an issue of the hotel. Still not enjoyable when trying to use the bathroom. I also was not thrilled to pay an extra 20 euros to check in early when there were rooms already available. I had a very early flight into Tallinn so I did not really have a choice as most things were not even open yet so I opted to check in early, but it seemed like just extra money for no real extra service since I already paid for the room.

Location of the hotel is in a shopping and bars area, very new and hip, lovely for coffee in the morning or tapas/beer in the evening. Lots of construction around this area, but quiet during the night/evening. Close to the old city and also sea front. Nice breakfast selection and eating area. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our room window didn't open, a bit strange, and someone was supposed to come open it (not sure how). In the end no one came, the window stayed closed but the room did get some ventilation. There was no AC which at this time it was ok since weather was chilly. There was a small fan in the room for hotter days, but not the best solution.

Staff were excellent, the room was clean, spacious and had a bath as we asked for. The location was perfect and the pricing was fair. The sauna was cosy and warmed at a good/usual rate.

The curtains were a bit short so let the light in. The light in the sauna was broken so the sauna was dark. In the height of summer, the room is warm, but lacks cooling aside from a slightly ajar window. The room also doesn't have a kettle, tea or coffee. None of this mattered to our own trip & we had an amazing experience however. Upon booking, the "bath or shower" selection was only possible. We hoped for a bath and asked in the comments, but until arriving at the hotel, it wasn't clear if this option was accepted/possible (ultimately it was).

Location is good and i like the size of the room. No street noises in room. Empty fridge in room to store your own drinks. Overall i like this hotel.

Pillows are really bad. I had to fold a pillow so it would be thick and hard enough so i could sleep on it. Noises from other rooms through ventilation, can hear everything what your top or bot neighbours speak and do. For example you can easily hear someone having sex. If it does not bother you, it is a good hotel.

We have stayed here 3 times now. Would not recommend this hotel enough. We always choose the room with the sauna as this is amazing. I feel like at home.Perfect location as walking distance to port, shopping, and old town. I always park in secure underground parking and do not worry about my rental car. You can also choose to use the spa next door. We will try next time. There is a bar and a live entertainment next door too, so there is no need to go out out.Amazing cocktails. Breakfast has a lot of options and check out at 12pm.What else can you ask for. See you next time.

Breakfast was great. Room was a bit bland (like an office) but it was clean and comfortable and warm. Location is an easy walk from the old town and also near to the port (ferrys & shopping mall) complex. Staff are helpful and efficient. It's a budget hotel but actually the reception is 24hr and they help with things like local advice and booking taxis etc.

The place feels a bit bland - like an office building. For many, a spa hotel conjures up a certain image of comfort etc. but this place is not like that. The spa facilities are good and reasonably priced, but it does not feel in any way luxurious. It is more like a clinic (institutional) environment. But at the price, it is perfectly acceptable and after our initial surprise, we settled into it and enjoyed our stay. We would come here again.

We have stayed in this hotel 3 times , its one of the best hotels in Tallinn: perfect location, good size rooms , superb view, friendly staff. We like everything about this hotel and we will be staying there again and again. We have really liked one particular room because of its landmark`s fantastic view and , silly as it sounds, we reckon staying in this room brings us good luck:) We have asked for this room in advance and we were nicely surprised to get it every time we ve been asking for it. It means that there is a perfect communication between hotel and the customers and customers` requests and needs are valued. Thank you Metropol Tallinn, Special thanks to the receptionist Elizabeth who is super efficient, professional and friendly.

Everything was perfect as usual. Localization is very convenient, walking distance to the old town. There is not too much parking places in front of the hotel, but we got one on the garage. The only thing was just ongoing building works close to the hotel, which made us difficult to reach the garage. But with the help of hotel service we managed. The place to sit and work in the lobby, when restaurant / bar is closed was dark, since bar workers were asked to switch lights off (this area is managed by external services not hotel ones). It wasn't my first stay in this hotel, and for sure if I am back in Tallinn I will chose it again. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing. Everything was very good as always.
