Location, room size, spa facilities, warm floors in the bathroom

In my opinion, it is not OK to ask customers to use same towels in the SPA as in the room or rent them for 3 EUR. It is 4 star hotel at the end. I am fine with cleaning on request but if you position yourself as SPA hotel you should provide the service in full.

Special saunas in spa sae not always working properly. Aroma is missing in aroma sauna and steam in steam sauna. Pools are good though.

We enjoyed our stay at the Metropol spa hotel. It’s in walkable distance to the old town and most museums etc. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet had everything you needed for a good start to the day. My check-in went smoothly and the staff member was welcoming.

The only downside was the overall service. We got the feeling that most of the staff didn’t really care to be very hospitable. On several occasions the spa was overtaken by families with children that were really loud and jumped into the pool. There was no way to relax there after a day of being out and about. Unfortunately the staff didn’t care to enforce the spa rules and etiquette. At check out we brought this up to the person at the reception and we didn’t get a satisfying answer. As someone working in the service industry I hoped for a more professional response like „I’m sorry you couldn’t relax at the spa and isn’t our policy to not enforce the rules.“ instead the only thing they said was „We will talk to the staff.“

The location of the hotel is very good because there are very good restaurants and wine bars in the immediate vicinity. However, the old town is about a 15-minute walk away. The beds were very comfortable. However, there are two single beds that are pushed together, leaving a gap. If I was traveling with my partner, I would find this very annoying. The breakfast is very ok in terms of range and quality.

I find it inconvenient that the sauna can only be used with swimwear. I find it unhygienic that guests do not use towels to sit on in the sauna. The towels in the spa area cost extra. I think at least one towel could be included. Apart from that, the spa area is nicely done. There should be more space at the breakfast buffet and the first guest tables should not be so close to it.

Location is excellent. The hotel is located on a nice quiet square with many eating/drinking/shopping options. Few minutes walk to old town and easy access to tram/bus/ferry terminal. The room was clean and in very good condition with the basic/minimum amenities. The floor in the bathroom was heated. The breakfast was ok, a buffet with various options.

The amenities in the room were the basic minimum. The bed was not comfortable, just a thin foam layer instead of a mattress. I believe this is unacceptable for such a high price hotel. There is a temperature controller in the room but you cannot really control the temperature according to your needs as is 20-25 °C both for cooling and heating simultaneously.

The hotel was in the development area of the city near to the port. This was really convenient for us as we travelled by Ferry from Helsinki and were at the hotel within about a 20minute walk. The checkin was fast and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the electronic tag to allow us to enter the spa area which had everything expected and was not too busy. The breakfast was very good and the hotel location was a good starting point to go and visit the historic parts of the city. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town centre.

The towels for the spa were to be taken from your hotel room or you could rent them for a few euros at the Spa. It would have been better to perhaps have spa towels available in the room. Taking your towels from the room meant there were none left in the room until you contacted the hotel reception and asked for more.

The location is great, at the Rotterman quarter, close to the old town. Modern building in the past time setting of this historic neighborhood. Pool and saunas are great after a long day working or sightseeing- perfect for relaxation. Bath robes are provided, as well as towels. Impeccable cleanliness in both rooms and common areas. Great breakfast with plenty of choices. I have stayed at the hotel four times already and I will stay there again next time I am in Tallinn.

I really try to find something to complain about and I am having a hard time. Even when minor issues have arisen during my stay, they were professionally handled by staff members, so nothing to dislike.

Not my first time staying at this hotel, which I visit for its featured spa, usually found quiet and clean, and for the hotel’s proximity to the old town and to the Sea. The reception help is generally friendly and the rooms are up to standards. And tho the immediate surrounding area is architecturally odd, disjointed by design, it offers a diversity of decent cafès and restaurants. And Tallin’s own museum for pop & contemporary art. For a few restful days off and away, I already look forward to another such stay.

The hotel is a bit pricey. Also, I enjoyed a fine view of the old town from my room this time. Previously, I had views of the restaurant, etc., or even of the office building, on the other hotel side. The spa was sometimes left unmaintained, with empty juice glasses and the like seen during my morning visit still around during my second visit to the spa later in the day. Also, perhaps the hotel could provide towels for the spa in the spa itself, free of charge, as a courtesy? – Mostly minor stuff, to be sure.

We chose to stay at this hotel based on a recommendation from family, who praised its excellent location. They were spot on—situated near the harbor and old city, we found it convenient to explore the area on foot. Plus, there's a delightful FAZER chocolate shop right around the corner, offering a tempting selection of chocolates at reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly helpful, particularly a gentleman named Mihkel, who went out of his way to assist us.

Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable, with a good variety of options to choose from. However, dessert lovers might be disappointed as they only offer donuts. The spa facilities were a highlight, especially the sauna. It's worth noting that it can get busier on weekends, but there's a bar onsite for drinks. If you find yourself in need of toiletries, you can purchase them before entering the spa or after your session. Overall, a pleasant stay with convenient amenities.
