Incredibly friendly staff, willing to help with anything and made me feel right at home. They welcomed me like I was part of the family. I wanted an authentic Fiji experience and this did not disappoint. Food was also wonderful, room extremely comfortable. A great place to explore Fiji island, visit local villages or simply unwind in a very natural setting. Highly recommend.

Travelers should be aware that it is in a quiet area, removed from the typical tourist spots. This was a plus for me as I wanted an authentic experience but others should be mindful.

We felt at home on the property like we were with family! The staff took such good care of us and the property and burres are beautiful. The manager and front desk staff were so fun! And the restaurant staff lovely. All of the food for every meal was gorgeous, healthy and beautifully prepared. The chef even made us a cake to celebrate our anniversary. It was a quiet oasis to escape to. Loved how few guests it accommodates. We appreciated Reuben the driver and his expertise about the island, showing us around. Highly recommend the cultural tour!

Nothing! Just know that this is a remote property with no access to town or walkable beaches or activities. You must schedule a ride with the driver to go out and about.

This property was the definition of the most iconic holiday property for me and my partner. Ambience 10/10 Food 10/10 Room service 10/10 Hospitality 10/10 Cats 10/10 We did the right thing by choosing a property that was adults only. Was incredibly peaceful, quiet and comfortable for the 4 nights we were there. I must also give them extra credit for how well they took care of us when my partner fell really sick. They went out of their way to help us with medication, nearest clinic we could go to. Jenny and Peter took such good care of us and treated us like we were part of their family really. Because my partner was unwell and I was going to venture off doing the Zipline on my own, the staff members Deepika and Ledge joined me on a fun day of adventure. I want to give my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful girls Lody, Luse, Asenaca, and Jenna at the property. Reuben was a fantastic driver for us and he was super fun and accommodating and must say tolerant of our goofiness. We miss you all and hope to see you again at some point.

The few little downsides that I wouldn't even consider a downside to be honest is that the options with Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners felt a bit limited. The Bathroom was stunning at this property. We just felt the shower room could also have translucent glass or some sort of privacy. It just felt like showering in the open and anyone could walk around the back. That's definitely not the case at Fiji Orchid but probably just a consideration for future.

If I could give this 11 out of 10 I would. What I love most about this gem of a hotel is that it doesn’t feel like you’re at a hotel or a resort, but like you’re staying in a super glamorous private home of your super glamorous friend. We stayed for 5 days, and it was heaven. They pick you up from the airport, with the super friendly Rueben, and then you get swept into this garden jungle paradise with lovely romantic burres (you feel like you’re in a Taylor Swift music video) in the middle of a jungle / bush tranquility. There’s a bar and great restaurant on site - and if you can’t find anyone at the bar to make you a drink you can just WhatsApp the manager and they’ll bring drinks to you - and a great pool and fantastic location to the airport. But hands down the best part is the host, the owner Mrs B, who is quite possibly one of the most exceptional hosts & all round superstars we’ve ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time, from organising Fijian curry to be made that night at the restaurant so we could try it, to making sure breakfast stayed open late when we slept in, and just hanging out and having incredible chats. She’s absolutely phenomenal and made our visit super magical. She’s a true star.

Nothing. I can’t wait to come back. The only thing I’d say is that this isn’t like a Sheraton or Sofitel, so there isn’t always someone at your shoulder asking if they can help you, but if you want something - just go ask! When you ask for something, they bend over backwards to help.

This is an absolutely beautiful boutique accommodation option. From the moment of entering onto the property, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and tranquility. The six stand-alone units are all separated from one another by tropical trees, bushes, and flowers, allowing ample privacy, and the grounds themselves are wonderful for strolling around. This is one of the nicer accommodation options we have ever stayed in, and it was all complemented by wonderful and very obliging staff, a great pool, and a fantastic open-air restaurant overlooking an orchid garden. We enjoyed 3 excellent breakfasts here - each one very tasty and filling. The location of the accommodation is approx 15min north of the airport, and is accessed by the main Queens Road. What is great about this, is that it renders it halfway between Nadi and Lautoka - both of which are worthy of a days exploration. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Fiji Orchid to anyone looking for quality accommodation, set in wonderful gardens, with the most divine staff.

The staff go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible for you. We stayed for 7 nights and the relaxed tranquil stay in the hotel was exactly what we needed for our honeymoon. Ledge, Deepika, and all the other staff members go the extra mile to make you feel as welcome as possible. The beds are comfortable, the stay is clean and tucked away in its own rainforest like canopy keeps you feel at peace with nature. There is daily servicing of the bulas with an additional 'turn down' service in the evening whilst you have dinner, ensuring that the room is pristine, ready for your evening. Kesho, the driver, gives reasonable prices to move you around to various places such as the port. Ali also, another driver, goes out of his way to ensure that your holiday goes as smoothly as possible. Nearby are the Garden of the giants, mud pool and Hindu temple. Want to do anything off the beaten track? - Ask your hotel who will make it happen. A short drive away is a wonderful hike (please remember to bring decent shoes!) and Port Denerau is close by also where there are lots of restaurants. Facilities on the lodge are great, they're a tranquil swimming pool which is a great place to just relax the day away. We didn't use the spa services but I don't doubt that they would be great.

The location of the hotel is just a bit too far away to pop over for dinner. $60 each way to Port Deanerau adds up and add that to dinner and soon over $300 is spent just for dinner. It adds up over the days and as there aren't many good restaurants near by, you end up eating at the hotel. Which isn't to say it's bad but that it can be a bit samey with the food. The menu for dinner isn't that varied and can quickly get quite bland. Basic eggs and toast is provided as part of your stay for breakfast but if you wanted to make it just a tiny bit better then it costs extra? It seems a bit weird that fried eggs, bacon and toast is free but make an omelette with bacon in it with bread on the side and suddenly that's $15? Seems a bit daft. Overall very minor critiques of the hotel itself.

It was secluded. It was tranquil. Peter and Jenny were the best hosts ever! The staff were treated like family. We felt like family! The food was fresh and delicious! The pool was clean and fresh, swam every day. Service was exceptional, they couldn’t do enough to make you feel so special and the 1hour massage was amazing. Ledge makes the best cocktails in Fiji! Our bure was spacious, private and the huge bed super comfortable too! We couldn’t recommend the Fiji Orchid higher…10/10! Bula vinaka!!

This resort is very small and very quiet which was perfect for my group, my husband, daughter and her bf. The pool area is beautiful and the bures are spacious and very comfortable.

The only reason I gave it 8 was because the quality of the food and variety of food at the restaurant wasn’t great. The lunch menu was the same every day apart from one and the dinners were disappointing and expensive. Without a car, it was not possible to stock up on supplies so if you stay here, purchase drinks and snacks before your stay. It is a 30/40 minute taxi ride to Denarau island from where the boat trips go at a cost of $29 Fiji dollars per person return.

Breakfast was lovely and filling, the fresh juices and pastries especially. It was really a quite large meal. We also had a late dinner on our night into town from the Mamanucas, and lunch by the pool on our last day. We found the staff super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were divine.

This is a small resort and we were there a bit off season, so one was available to assist us for breakfast on the day we left early to go on a hike, despite the posted hours showing the restaurant should have been open.

This little hidden gem is an absolute must on your travels to Fiji. Close enough to Nadi and the airport, it feels like a world apart from the rest of the hotels on offer nearby. I know this, because I missed my ferry to the Yasawas and spent a whole day and night on Denarau island. Do not bother with these if you want to experience the real Fiji. Fiji Orchid is set in beautiful gardens where the singsong of the birds awakes you every morning, flowers and plants surround the Bure in such a way that you think you’re there by yourself. The staff add to this feeling by treating you as if you’re the only visitor and it all just feels enormously pleasant. I chose this place as my oasis to adjust on arrival to Fiji and again to prepare for my onwards travels at the end of my time here and I highly recommend it. Food is gorgeous, the pool is a delight, everything is clean and the bures are very spacious. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate any requests (and I had some unusual ones!) they’re happy to help as best as they can. Vinaka Vakalevu Team Fiji Orchid!
