The location of Hotel Finn is perfect if you want to stay in Helsinki Center. You step outside the hotel and you are in walking distance of almost everything there is to see in Helsinki. Price/quality this is a very good spot to choose. The room (2 person bed, television, wifi, minifridge & desk) was clean and big enough to be comfortable. The Bathroom with toilet and shower was clean but a little outdated. I only was in the room for sleeping or to freshen myself up, so it was more then adequate.

There is only one elevator and it is pretty small and old. So if you're staying with a big group you will have to wait you're turn if you don't want to take the stairs to the fifth floor. A minor discomfort, but I would not keep me from staying here again.

Thank you very much for the 5 nights stay. The building is a lovely building made of stone, The room doors were red and stylish, the room had high ceilings and large window doors that let in a lot of light, the bed and bedding were clean, and I slept very well. The shower and body soap were also available. The staff was always smiling and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was always smiling, friendly and helpful, and we had free coffee and tea when the reception was open. The location is very close to Helsinki Central Station, Stockmann's department store, supermarkets, and Kamppi Center. If I have a chance to come to Helsinki next time, I will definitely use this place again! Thank you very much!

A small fridge and mugs would be nice

Great location - you can walk almost anywhere in the centre which is a delight. Allas Sea Pool is 15 mins walk along the esplanade + all the museums etc etc Nice staff. Staff were great: friendly and helpful Comfortable room: we had two adults and two children in a triple room (with extra bed) and that worked fine

The bathroom: a lot of reviews mention this. The toilet is essentially in the shower room so the floor can get wet which feels a bit odd. But honestly this is not a big deal, the water drains quickly and there is a wiper in the room to wipe the floor. We had a family of four in and it didn't impact our enjoyment at all, especially considering the price which we thought was exceptional value.

Had the apartment unit, which was great for our family. Lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. The location is also very convenient as it is one block from the Central Train Station and Metro.

Minor in that to access the unit it's a bit of a windy path through the hotel lobby, through a couple of doors, down a few steps to the apartment building entryway, and then up a few steps to the unit, but there's not much to be done about this. If you have a lot of luggage, it's easier to bring it in through the apartment complex's front gate rather than through the hotel lobby.

Location is central. There is an option to have a fridge in the room. Quiet room. Clean on arrival. Staff very good and helpful. Kettle is in the room. There was shampoo/body wash available, hairdryer was in the bathroom. Coffees and teas available during reception opening hours. Check-in instructions were detailed and easy, the staff communicated that prior to arrival.

The cleaning during the stay (we requested it on 2 occasions) included changing towels and emptying bins. The first time our table and glasses were cleaned, the second time they weren't. Anything on the floor was swept under the curtain. The bed linen was not changed. Toilets, shower and sink were not touched. The cleaner blocked the entrance to our room one day with the trolley and we couldn't get out, so we had to try hard to get his attention to move it because he had headphones on.

The interior is a little bit outdated. I didn't mind that at all, but I wanted to mention it since the room looks much better in the pictures. More important: the room was clean. I was really happy with the location of the hotel, which is perfect. It's close to the train station and a few shopping centres (few minutes walking), but also to all the highlights of the city (10-20 minutes walking). The wifi was also good. And it was completely silent during the night. Good to know: there's no breakfast at the location, but guests can have a discount at 3 restaurants nearby. Last but not least: the staff was super friendly!

Although it was silent during the night, you really should bring earplugs with you! The walls are super thin. I could easily follow the conversations in the room next door. To dampen the sounds from the hallway, the room had 2 front doors, which helped (I guess). Two of the three mornings I was also woken up by construction workers who had to fix the room on the other side. In my opinion it's not ok to treat guests like that. They are on holiday! When leaving I told the staff worker about it. She thanked me for mentioning it and told me she would ask the workers to start later on the day.

The location was brilliant just off of the main street and minutes from trams, but safe and quiet. The Room was fine, comfy beds. Lift was ok. Staff were kind and helpful and spoke good English. Good value for money. Made a great base for a holiday when were out and about in Helsinki for three days and only really wanted a bed

This was a bit more like a series of rooms in a building than a hotel. Great for sleeping in but not much of an atmosphere. Bathroom a bit on the small side. But we were comfortable and happy here as a base for out holiday

This is a small boutique hotel situated in the top two floors of an old office building. One could claim that this IS the center spot of Helsinki. The hotel has fun deco and the room was just big enough for two, very clean, and the bed was pretty good. Nice rooftop views. A great value if you can get a room at or below €100 a night!

Bathroom was tiny, only two square meter, which made it slightly inconvenient. The sound insulation was not great, and you could hear some noise from the other rooms. Blackout curtains were not well designed, so I would recommend a sleep mask in the summer.

The location was so great - everything was nearby. Room was clean, especially the bathroom. I would say it was even better than some of the expensive hotels. Also, it was silent during the night. We were worrying that it would be so noisy as hotel located near the pubs. But maybe our room wasn’t located on the side of the pubs

The room was hot when we first entered. But when we kept the window open and turned on the fan it got better. But we were not able to open the window fully. Maybe there are some regulations for that in the country 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bathroom is bigger than expected. Room is quite big for 3 of us. Very clean. Location is not too far from the central station, but if you have heavy luggage, it would be better to take a taxi like us to skip exercise on the icy street.

There is nothing I really dislike about this hotel. If you walk from the train station, please be careful that it may be a little bit uphill near the hotel, especially if you have bulky luggage. The reception is open only until 21:00 or 22:00, but it's not a big issue. You can collect your key smoothly if you read the helpful message sent by the hotel. You can also check out quickly by putting your key card into the designated box before the reception is open, which is convenient, actually.
