Right in the centre of town. but in a little courtyard, so very quiet. Staff very very friendly and helpful. No tea making facilities in room, but makings provided by receptionist after we returned from evening meal. We arrived by ferry from Sweden, and the port is 3.3 km from the hotel. Bus number 1 gets you there, but we just took a taxi - fast and relaxing. We lucked on the midsummer middle ages festival - very entertaining. Traveled back to the port area by bus to visit the castle - get an all-day ticket (costs the same the return journey, and you an use it elsewhere).

Would like tea making facilities in room, but not many hotels in Scandinavia seem to have them.

I had seen reviews that particularly commented on the breakfast - I would endorse them! A fantastic breakfast buffet with a wide range to suit everyone, from Finnish cured fish and cloudberry jam (excellent, but keep going to the far end of the buffet to find those) to pastries to the Germanic ham and cheese. But also great staff at reception who were very helpful from everything to telling us where to get the bus for Moomin World to printing out our boarding passes. And it's only a few minutes to the market square one way or the river.

Nothing - everything was great. Just one thing for future travellers: there is a Hotel Centro and a Hotel Centrum. Taxi drivers may ask which you're going to, so it could be good to make clear it's the Hotel Centro and have the address or the hotel page on booking.com open on a phone.

Hotel located in centrum Turku (5 minutes walk to Puutori). Near to Turku Cathedral and Aurajoki/Aura Å. Good connection to Turku Airport (bus #1). Room clean, comfortable with very good Wi-Fi connection. Amazing and rich breakfast, fresh fruits/vegetables, sweet/salty snacks. I had early morning flight and not was problem with take away breakfast (delicious sandwich, apple + coffe). Crew very helpful and friendly. It was my first visit in Finland and stayed here made it wonderful. I honestly recommended every one. Kiitos! :-)

As always, the breakfast was excellent, and any questions I had for the staff were promptly answered. I also used the meeting room and everything went smoothly with that as well. The location couldn't be better: quiet "side street" but still incredibly close to the heart of the city.

The pillows felt rather old and the spot the toilet paper was in was mildly annoying, but if these are my main complaints, I can live with it.

The hotel is small, but most conveniently located. It was very clean and comortable with a cozy 90’s vibe. The staff was very helpful and warm. My favourite feature however was the breakfast - everything was super fresh and the choices were ample. I really relaxed at breakfast as bigger hotels tend to have a hurried and que-ey vibe that I don’t so enjoy.

Parking may be hard to find, if the hotel’s own small lot is full. Most of the nearby street parking is max 2 hours, so I had to take my car 1km away from the hotel. -But that’s not the hotel’s problem, just a good thing to know and be prepared for, if you are on a business trip with car and need it daily.

The great breakfast and a very good location. I had a very nice walk before work and after. The hotel is nearby a down city with a lot of cafes, restaurants, and a market center.

I arrived at the hotel at 1 am but paid for the full day before. And I left the hotel at 3:35 am, so if this time would be taken into mind then the price would be a little less ;)

The room was very spacious compared to what I've usually seen in such central locations, plus it was clean and nicely decorated with a good modern TV. The breakfast was great with loads of different options, including fish and some traditional finnish foods.

My partner is vegan and the breakfast was admittedly a little bit lacking on that end. While they had oat milk, bread, cereal, different jams and fruit, there weren't any vegan alternatives to the more substantial options. There were still plenty of things to eat, just always room for improvement.

It is small, clean, safe, comfortable, typically Nordic. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff is helpful. It is two blocks from the central plaza, two blocks from the river and boutique restaurants and shops. The museums, church, university and other sights are just across the river. This hotel is wonderful.

Can't think of a thing to improve.

Unprepossessing 1960s exterior, but very comfortable and discreetly stylish within. Excellent breakfast, available very early for those heading off the the port (no 1 bus, allow 25 mins) for the wonderful daytime ferry to Stockholm

This part of central Turku is exceptionally ugly 1960s slabs; the cathedral district, 5 mins walk away, is attractive, but otherwise Turku is nothing to write home about ( at least whilst the main square continues to be a massive building site).

we arrived from the Viking line early in the morning and we wanted to drop of our bags- they advised that our room was ready and we could also have breakfast- this was so nice and it was the best service we could have hoped for- the location was central and the breakfast was lovely- cosy hotel with comfortable room -

there wasn’t any negatives other than maybe the view (car park view) but it was not really an issue
