The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had!! Highly recommended. Receptionist Alessio also went above and beyond at check out - not only doing what is required (bill) but chitchatting, providing extra info. He is great at his job! The hotel is a really good choice if u are in Verona for the Opera Festival, it is very close to the train station and also within walkable distance to the Arena. I also liked the Grand Hotel feel of the foyer/reception area.

shoddy craftsmanship in the bathroom (tiles, appliances), wires hanging loose, paper thin walls (unfortunately my next door neighbor spent all his/her stay in Verona watching TV - very loudly). The room needs maintenance - renovation - with qualified craftsmen.

The hotel was excellent, but they did not adhere to the conditions of our Booking.com reservation.

We had reserved a room for two people with separate beds, but we were placed in a room with a double bed instead. We booked through Booking.com and paid all the necessary taxes, yet we were unexpectedly charged an additional 15 euros per person for taxes. We’re confused about why the room was changed and why we incurred extra charges!

We arrived before 1 p.a and still were allowed to check-in to the room. The hotel corresponds to 4☆, everything is made with style, room is good size and has a balcony, bed was comfortable, bathroom has everything that you need, shampoo and shower gel are in two different tubes, not two-in-one. The lobby is beautiful, it's pleasant to be there. The breakfast is fabulous, has very good choice of many things, fresh fruits, tomatoes, different cheese, choice of meet products. The position of the hotel is also very good, in around 15 minutes you are in the city center. And the railway station is about 10 minutes walk. Definitely would stay again in this hotel

The room was spacious and clean. Wally on reception was very helpful. Ideally situated for the train station, just a 10 minute walk. This was ideal as we were able to visit 3 other cities on a short stay The hotel is approximately a 20 minute walk from the main area of Verona. Breakfast was extremely good with plenty of choice.

Using the hotel WiFi was very poor, couldn't access any apps. This was frustrating when trying to access the flight details for return journey home. Also it wasn't secure . Coffee and tea at breakfast was from a vending machine. Room could have benefitted from tea/coffee making facilities.

It was nice that it was close to the train station. Spacious and clean room. It was old romantic style to the hotel, quite beautiful. The lounge had lots of nice places to sit and the outside was also scenic with the river flowing right next to it. We liked that we had a bath tub, even though it was a bit difficult to find right temperature.

Husband couldn’t connect to wifi on android, I had no problem on iPhone. The check in took a long time, and they didn’t seem prepared for the amount of people. We queued for 40+ minutes. Didn’t seem like enough staff on hand. Also many guests came in asking about parking, seems like maybe they could have a person in charge of giving that information.

Fabulously clean, stylish but traditionally classic Italian decor throughout. Bedrooms were as nice as the foyer. A very warm welcome to both me and my son. The staff could not do enough for us, so very thoughtful and professional. The night staff were as professional and caring as the day staff. A class team. They really truly cared about their guest experience. All the front house people were first class - well done! Bigger chains such as crowne plaza Italy could learn a lot from you guys … we had a lovely experience

Nothing Just that we had to leave! Maybe breakfast could of been later and 11 for check out is a tad early as we arrived very late

Located near Porta Nuova and an easy (about 15 mins?) walk into the old town of Verona along Via Corso Porta Nuova. A good 4 star hotel, with very pleasant and helpful staff. We actually ate in the hotel restaurant for the two nights and the food was very tasty, good value and nice served in very pleasant surroundings. The public areas are very attractive with all sorts of interesting theatrical style of displays. It was a dog friendly hotel too, with a separate cosy lounge area where dogs where welcome, there weren't many dogs, but the couple I saw certainly cheered me up with their waggy tales and smiling faces. An elegant attractive hotel

It's a luxury hotel and I was lucky to get a good deal for me and my girl. The location is perfect as it is super close to the train/bus station and walking (~20 min) distance to Piazza della Erbe. The breakfast was probably the best I had in any hotel! Same goes for the bathroom! Also, I asked for iron and they brought it with ironing board not even 5 mins after I asked. Kudos, guys!

Nothing really. You can tell a lot was invested in the hotel, but it has seen better days. A little polishing/painting here and there won't hurt.

A grand hotel. Staff were great except for one. Excellent price.

Wifi and tv complicated and didn’t work properly. Mould in a shower. Didn’t understand how to get there from train station as Google didn’t know the walking path. Had a bad start as a large group of Orient Express Americans were there unexpectedly due to flooding in Italy and had booked out the restaurant. We weren’t warned when we arrived at noon and when we returned tired later I couldn't get suitable food (diabetic) and was unwell during the night. Receptionist said take a E50 return taxi back in to town to a restaurant!

Good price, comfortable place to reach by car, interesting interior, nice lobby.

The first place where nor boiled nor fried eggs are offered for breakfast the only option is scrambled eggs. We stayed for three nights, the breakfast was the same every day. It was very hot in the room in February, though we turned off the heating, the only option to sleep was with open window. If you get a room which is connected to another room though doors be sure there is no sound proofing, you gonna “participate” in your neighbors life 😅
