Location is 10/10, because it located in where the pavilion mall and access to KLCC is few mins walk to the famous jalan Alor for 'makan' (eating) place only 5mins walk. Even if it rains, we walk just opt for under ground to the pavilion. The elevator was so secure that no one can comes up to the rooms without the hotel card and we really feels safe staying there. Room was really great that we didn't expect it to be so spacious for a city hotel. We would love to come back and stay there again with our family.

Our expectation for the breakfast will be great, but it was just average. We didn't book the hotel with breakfast but we tried it on the last day of our stay with the hotel. The traffic to enter or to go out from that area by taxi or grab (Uber-like) is not easy. Traffic is always a problem. The only solution we do is to walk a bit further or use the monorail to commute to other places... or we can get out early in the morning.

The room was nice and clean and serviced very well. The breakfast was great with so much variety. The staff were very professional and helpful.

The pool was big but a bit old it could do with being refurbished but it was clean and had plenty of chairs, towels and a couple of beds to chill out on. Also an outdoor Jacuzzi spa would be nice.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the location was perfect.

The hotel bath was not hot, and during breakfast, there was no orientation. No one, at least, would serve the coffee, and there were lines for the bread, omelette, and other items. By the time you reached the table, the food would be cold. I informed the reception that the breakfast did not meet my expectations in both 2020 and 2023. The refrigerator in the room was not cold.

Im a frequent visitor to JWmarriott. Service staff were excellent. Location superb as super close to pavilion.

The road outside tends to get jammed so if you take a car you can get stuck a while. The hotel needs to upkeep the cleanliness better - mirrors with water stains, kettles that need to be descaled. Also checking always seems to take a long time. They can have more staff helping with the check in.

loved the location - super convenient to the major shopping malls eg pavilion. Hotel breakfast was superb as well. Great service at reception too. Room was spacious and overall, good value for money.

bedsheets don’t seem to be changed every day by housekeeping. The driveway to the hotel is very busy (the adjacent hotel Ritz Carlton has a more private and quieter driveway)

Check in was smooth. Location excellent. All walking distance from hotel to shopping malls. Plenty of restaurants at LG level although they are a bit more expensive than the outside.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable to use.

The property is in a bustling area - it is quiet and still big. Nice quiet pool in the week.

They had a conference- of their 6 elevators they locked 3 for the conference attendees which made the wait from 19th floor to ground around 10min before an elevator arrived.

This is a fantastic 5 star hotel experience. Location is brilliant for both shopping but access to public transport. Staff are awesome. In particular the bar man at the pool (I wish I had gotten his name) made our visits always special and in particular my birthday. A huge thank you to him. The breakfast buffet is incredible with food for anyone around the world. There is a great shopping centre behind the hotel with some great stores and one of the best book stores I’ve ever seen. When in KL, I will certainly come here again.

Good location

Staff told us that our booking entitles us only to a room on the lower floor. They made a switch after we protested that there was nothing indicated in our booking that we were entitled only to low floor

Central location You cannot pick another hotel that is more central than here. The hotel is beautiful throughout. Loved it’s carpet hallway so noise is minimum. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a plenty of lights. In fact there are plenty of lights which we really appreciated. Some hotels really keep the number of lightings low - excuse was “ambience”. Well we don’t like staying in dudgeon so Marriott was perfect with ample lightings throughout. Plus there are several power outlets which made our stay comfortable. Having a pool was nice especially in the humid weather in KL. The staff were professional while friendly. Top notch. Some of the so called five star hotels should really learn from these guys (especially Sydney Melb).

Wait time at the lift. It was absolutely packed when we stayed so there was a bit of que but really it’s not a big deal at all- only pointing out because you asked me what I didn’t like about the hotel. It is a great stay if you have to think hard “not nice thing about the hotel”
