Location

The price quoted by your site was not the price I paid onsite upon check in. I paid an ADDITIONAL php 1,500. When I booked online I declared that we were a group of 3, 1 being child (17 y.o). The final price given by Booking is Php 4,041, but when I arrived at the hotel they informed me that I should pay Php 5,541.

It was near in the US Embassy where I had a schedule for an interview for my visa application.

I like the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast was sufficient and the access to coffeeshops and restaurants outside is good. Maybe they should do something about installing a wind curtain (I'm not sure what it's called) because the warmth of the Manila Bay breeze tends to warm up the breakfast place when people come and go the main door. Very prompt room service too. I'm definitely coming back as I need to be in the area again very soon.

The peceived safety around the property could be improved in cooperation with government and surrounding communities and businesses. It's a very historic and central area and it should be safe and accommodating to all.

Im just able to contact you from booking.com property email. Please make sure to check your website for requirements you needed as its not stated there. And please reply to emails. I even made an international call as you all are not replying. When you need more requirements please reply if your have received such emails. Booked 2 rooms. Requested for 1 bed for the 3 y/0 but not given. Its okay.

Excellent breakfast. Good location for shops and local bars and park

Very bad traffic noise had to wear ear plugs in the room especially to sleep. Evening meal organisation was terrible .40 mins after we ordered my wife was told the kitchen had run out of vegetables so she had to re order, the meal came 15 mins later ..my meal was not brought at the same time .I had to ask 3 times before it was brought around 20 minutes after my wife's meal around 1 hour 20 minutes after we ordered and that was for my starter ...the meals and service at Chowking was far superior..

Very nice professionally operated facility. It was spotless everywhere as you see in brand new only it's not new. The food was far above average for a Philippines hotel. The staff went over and above to make even the smallest one of my family feel at home. My 4 year old daughter on two different occasions during the stay look at me and say daddy that's one of my" Filipina " I love her too. That's a great compliment coming from a philippines/American child. She basically called those two different hostess a sister. I had business at the American embassy and it's basically across the street from the hotel. Been there many times before never stayed in that hotel. Will be from now on Terry l menefee

The waiting area. Please provide a comfortable waiting area for the people waiting for their rooms to be available, especially when these people have just gotten off their planes from abroad, flew 16 hours flight and rooms are not ready until 2pm and there’s no quiet area for them to rest and catch some sleep! It’s bad to be waiting next to the restaurant and smell the food when you yourself is starving! The area next to the back elevator should be perfect, at least it’s not right next to the breakfast room and welcoming and comfy enough!

i have stayed in BPHM in the 90's and remember the lounge in the mezzanine and the rooms with striped pink chairs painted in mute gold. both our no longer there, but i don't mind. i wished we could have stayed longer. i left a blouse that i hang in the bathroom that was returned to me immediately after checking out.

the resto (free breakfast) on the left is dark and heavy. the front desk could use a lighter wall. the breakfast fare seemed ordinary because the resto has a dated look.

I was required to put a deposit with our five days stay at the hotel. When we checked out on November 6th, we had a credit of 16,633.60 of unspent Phil. pesos. The hotel would not give us a cash refund. I gave the Hotel our postal address in Canada with the understanding that they will mail my refund in any currency. I am still hoping to receive my refund in the mail. However, I love every thing about Bay View Park Hotel. I am making the Hotel my home away from home in British Columbia, Canada. Considering the comfort and pleasure we received from the staff services, it is one terrific affordable hotel. I highly recommend the hotel when in Manila. I am a retired Canadian and I intend to visit Manila yearly; Bay View Park Hotel is now my home when ever I am in Manila. Have a great day!
