We only had 2evening meals and they were ok.The lady who served us was very helpful .Our room was clean and had the basics we needed.

We were upset on arrival as we have been to this hotel 2or3 times a year for the last 18years. We had a letter of confirmation but were told they had found out that morning they were over booked. The receptionist had found us a room at another hotel. It was much more expensive but we had to take it. We returned for the last few days of our holiday as it is so central.The hair dryers in the bedrooms are very old and don’t work well

Very good as usual. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Sad to see how difficult it is to find more staff to help the one on site who are already very good but in need of help. However the lady on arrival was amazing, very kind, efficient and professional.

Little problem with the shower in the morning but very quickly fixed by the young man from the reception. It has been many years since we are coming at the Cottage and never been disappointed. Phone didn't work, but again the staff was very helpful.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, all amenities we needed, the rooms was clean comfy and welcoming, had tv with satellite Chanel’s, bathroom well Equipped, restaurant and bar was excellent, the food was fantastic and great value, the breakfast was great check out was easy, we would definitely stay here again

The hotel is ideally located for an overnight stay either coming from, or going to the ferry, there is secure parking with CCTV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size with a small en-suite bathroom and a large opening window with security chain, ideal on a hot, barmy night. The restaurant is a good size with a bar serving a variety of alcoholic drinks. The breakfast was plentiful and ideal for a long journey home. We will stay there again.

That’s the second time I’ve stayed and the directions to the hotel from the Chunnel are awful. The TV and WiFi systems in the hotel are very very poor and need attention. The hotel staff tried all they could to sort things but we had to give up. A shame as our trip was timed to enable me to watch a major Rugby World Cup game which I effectively missed.

This place us very welcoming, always a beer available no matter what time you arrive. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Love to stop here and we do regularly but if the restaurant was a bit more substantial in portions we would never need to venture elsewhere for food. I once had sliced bread served with a cheese plate ? A kebab with 4 small cubes of beef? Everything here is spot on but please work on the restaurant side, please

Location excellent for access to Le Shuttle. We have used this hotel over a number of years but in particular, it has begun to improve over our 3 visits this year, staff always pleasant & obliging, cleanliness & restaurant facilities. It had become a little tired but improvements are being made, well done.

Good value, helpful staff, simple but comfortable rooms. Great location. An EV charger is located immediately adjacent. The staff assisted me by letting me put my property in a conference room overnight as my car was insecure due to having glass shattered at another location.

Some of the bathroom fittings were a little worn.

Very warm professional welcome. Restaurant choice has greatly improved, well cooked & presented. Service excellent. Room clean & comfortable.

Not sufficient items e.g. coffee, tea & milk etc. Double room booked for two but only one item of each available. On request at reception addition items provided.

Plenty of parking on the premises, quick check in and out with friendly English speaking staff, the room had a few nice touches like the bathroom door being divided and hinged in two places so that there was enough room - very clever! Safety chain on the window. Extra piece to keep water inside the shower. Wouldn't normally see a hotel go to the trouble to put these little thngs in.

Breakfast was rather "French" even though the hotel seems to cater to the English public. The door to the room was warped so that it required strength to open and shut (with accompanying noises... sorry neighbors!)
